Southern States put gutter guards on our house. We chose a black color that enhanced our house so much(out shutters are black). Since they were installed we haven’t had any problems with rain water drainage. Chris George is a joy to work with. Very personable and knowledge. We also had them investigate some water leakage on our house. All work was done swiftly and correctly.

I had Chris come out and install a covered porch in my backyard. Him and his crew were very friendly and answered all my questions. Once the installation was complete I had a few small issues and they came back out and fixed them. Chris has stood by his word that they will come out until I am satisfied with the installation. While they were building the porch, I also had them fix my fence gates that another company broke. I can now enjoy my backyard in any weather and my dogs are safe with the fixed fence. This company can literally do it all.

I had these guys rework the outside of my little workshop. They pulled the tired old reverse board and batten siding off and replaced it with James Hardi plank lap siding . Fresh paint and I’ve got a new shop! They were pleasant to deal with and did a great job. They’re now going to redo my gutters and leaf guards on my house.

I’ve got several more little projects to do that I once would have done myself but time marches on. Can’t say enough good things about these guys.

These guys came back out and did my deck on the house. Same great service and attention to detail as on my building, maybe better. It was a BIG job that took 2+ weeks from demolition to clean up.

Chris was the sales guy and came out regularly. Dave the owner came by at least 4-5 times during the job. Kyle and Lewis were the primary builders and were careful and attentive to detail. Thank you for your work gentlemen!!

Chris came out to provide an estimate - but he also brought his design ideas to the table too. We had him quote us for a new back deck and a new front porch. They did such a great job on both projects! Not only that, they were so good at communicating along the way.

When we had a problem with our existing stringers on the front porch stairs, they had a change order out to us immediately, and took care of the problem. Chris came out to check on the work and he saw an issue even before we did - he pro-actively had his team fix it.

This company sent me some workers with very little experience and they did not know what they were doing. As a result, they did a terrible job and they were not able to come and correct it and, worst of all, they wanted to get paid without finishing fixing it. Poor quality and worst Customer Services.

My mother's roof was leaking, and water had damaged her kitchen ceiling. I contacted Dave on a Saturday, and he responded within minutes and had Rue on the job on Monday. Rue made a thorough inspection of the roof and diagnosed the problem and sent us a fair cost estimate. He and his team were at the house within two days of our approving the price. The roof was repaired, new vent boots were installed, and the kitchen ceiling was sanded and painted to my mother's discriminating satisfaction. The painters were virtual artists who clearly took pride in their work and, more importantly, who clearly wanted to make my mother happy. They were careful and clean and left no mess; but for the ceiling looking better than ever, there was no evidence of their ever having been in the house. Rue oversaw all the repairs and painting and returned to the site each day of the project's completion to consult with my mother whose questions about particulars he answered with polite patience. Suffice it to say that if we have any other home projects in the future, we shall be calling Southern States Roofing Pro's. Unlike many companies today who clearly don't, this company takes pride in its work and understands the meaning of a job well done.

First, thanks to Southern States Roofing Pros for coming out and installing a new roof after a fallen tree damaged it. Orginally I was only going to have the damaged part of the roof replaced that insurance would cover. Dave came out for a pre install inspection and dropped off some materials to help pick out the new roof. After thinking it over it made more sense to have the whole thing replaced. Dave was more than accommodating with the new decision. The crew was out early the next day and and had everything setup to get started before the sun came up. To my surprise it was a quick tear down and install and the crew did a great job of cleaning up. My drive way looked better than the state it was in when they arrived. The crawl space door to the attic was damaged at some point and I probably wouldn't have noticed if nothing was said. Dave personally came out in person to let me know and had a member of the crew go out and get a replacement. I really do appreciate the honesty and willingness to replace it for something so small. All in all I am very happy with the new roof. I don't foresee any issues but if they do arise I know I can call on Dave and team and it will get taken care of. Thanks again!

I had a potential roof leak, Dave came by on time to inspect. Upon inspection and good communications/explanations during the visit we all decided it was best to hold off till the next rain to better diagnose the problem as it was in question if this was a new leak or not or if it was a past issue that was repaired. I appreciated the free inspection and honesty- if this does turn out to be a current issue I definitely have these guys come back to do the work.

Dave and Bobby helped me tremendously trying to find a leak in my basement. They repaired a previous roof job done badly by a different company, they walked my property for an hour trying to find other causes of the leak and they they put me in touch with a company they trust when we realized the roof wasn't the source of the leak. They visited by house numerous times, called and checked on me after rain, and followed up as they said they would. They could have taken me for much more money but instead they were honest and didn't think further roof work would help my situation. I have not experienced customer service like Southern States provided in a very long time. I will use this company in the future and I completely recommend them for anyone.

I’ve used this company twice for small repairs, the nuisance type that no one wants to bother coming out for. They come quickly, assess, and start fixing immediately if weather permitting, or come back as soon as they can.
I’ve truly only worked with 1-2 other contractors in 40+ years that I feel as completely comfortable and trusting of as this company.

I had a very bad bedroom leak and I assumed it was a roof leak. Southern States Roofing contacted me first thing in the AM on a Sunday. They sent out Ozzy quickly and discovered it wasn’t the roof but the HVAC unit. He cleaned up the over flow of water, to stop the water from continuing to overflow. Ozzy service was honest, helpful and kind.. Great service any of my future roofing needs, I will contact Southern States.. Ozzy is definitely a great look for the company.. New roof was added to our home due to Hail Damage. We were extremely impressed with this company. Dave and his crew is professional and courteous. Dave sat with us and went over with us step by step procedures and what was going to be expected. He also went the different types of roofs we could choose from and colors. His customer service was awesome and very professional. He also went over all the pricing and insurance needs and made this transition seamless. When we got the All Systems Go from the adjuster and the insurance company work was performed very quickly and they cleaned up the areas they worked in.

Prices was reasonable and service to totally TOP NOTCH!!!

Initially, I agreed to a free roof inspection on a whim as a neighbor was using Southern States Roofing Pro’s for an insurance claim. To my surprise, I also qualified for a potential replacement. Dave and his team were incredibly easy to work with, and the process from start to finish took only a couple of weeks. The best compliment I can give is that I never stressed about the process, which is very common with contractors. The finished work looks great and although I do not anticipate any issues moving forward, Dave will be my first call if I ever need anything.

This is an owner operated company with excellent service. Not only their work is excellent but they stand by their word and their work. Best service I have had in a long time.

I needed a roof inspection for my 1 year building warranty walk-through. I called Southern States Roofing Pros on a Saturday. I didn't expect to receive a call until Monday, at the earliest. They called me 2 hours later! I was shocked. They scheduled to come to the house on Monday to inspect my roof. They showed up on time, as promised. They were very thorough in their inspection. They were not pushy or trying to "make a sale". They were very professional, friendly, agreed to help me in discussing matters with my builder. If I ever need roof work done, I'll call them back.

Recommended by my neighbors and local too! I was thrilled to have the hands on professionalism of Dave and Cameron. They worked with my insurance company and the install was an upgrade. I'd call them again in a minute.

Southern States Roofing Pros, as I think about I don't know how it got started but I certainly can know it wasn't to for a leak. They showed to do roof inspection, after they came down, asked if I wanted the satellite removed. One of us is hard set on lying you decide.

This review process doesn't cover the totality of the experience when things go wrong. So I'm including the cost for a repair included in the photo. I've also included the cost of my decision to terminate this relationship. This started out with the intent of having a roof replacement. I'm adding a photo to give you context around the tarp. I ask does it seem reasonable for for the size and disposal of a satellite dish to cost $590.00, would you feel comfortable paying that. And would appreciate being build for it thinking that it was a good will gesture. This company is upset because that didn't get the big check, from my insurance company, the tarp was just another way to add more annoyance.

This represents the cost of me not doing due diligence. The blue tarp cost me $590 and was done during the free roof inspection. I interpreted it as a good will gesture, not knowing I would receive an invoice.

I had a dish on my roof and they offered to remove it and cover my roof with the blue tarp. No indication of this being the beginning of a financial transaction; of which I was not provided the actual cost.

I was not giving in writing any details on material that will be used or dates services would be rendered. The binding agreement is what I received in the initial interaction. I eventually got an estimate which mirrored what my insurance company estimated the total replacement value cost. And of course when I canceled, many texts, some attacking my character and questioning my faith and the invoices were timely.

The gentleman was professional and went above and beyond in repairing our fascia. The detail, cleanliness and timing was awesome. We are telling everyone about this company.

Southern States is an exceptional company that provided me excellent service in a time of need. Our roof had a significant puncture caused by a falling tree limb. I contacted Southern States and they were out to my residence within an hour to put a temporary tarp over the damage before a significant storm that evening, and fully completed the repair the next afternoon. They matched our shingles perfectly in the process. They even dropped their quoted price unprompted when the work was done because they finished quicker than anticipated. Excellent company, excellent service with excellent people.

This may very well have been the singularly best experience I’ve had with contractors ever! The character shown by each member I spoke with was exemplary. It was questionable if the problem could be easily dealt with, or needed a more extensive approach. They offered to try the easier immediately, but if it ever approved in adequate they will deduct the amount paid from the more expensive repair. Turned out that is what we had to do, and they not only did exactly what they said, but even took more off the original quote because it didn’t take as long as anticipated. Who does that? You can bet if I need any of their different services in the future they will be my go to, and I’ll be singing their praises far and wide to anyone I know.

I first met Dave Lineberry when he was working with what I will call "Company B" when I had him price a new roof for me. That company put on a new roof that looked great and had a lifetime warranty on labor and materials. I was very impressed on how Dave walked me through every step and kept in constant communication with me on the process. I had some issues with cleanup that were remedied immediately with a phone call to Dave. Later, my roof proved to have some leaking around two of my three chimneys. Around that time, Dave told me he had issues with the quality control he was seeing in Company B along with a lack of good oversight from the top down over which he had no control. He told me he was starting his own company so he could make sure the processes of workmanship were to his standards. Dave is a veteran paratrooper and has certainly learned the importance of accountability and making sure things go right but fixing things that don't. He told me that even though he was starting another company (Southern States Roofing Pros) he would honor the warranty himself since he was the point man for acquiring the job on my roof. Initially, a worker from Company B came to try to fix the leak. That attempt did nothing to stop the leak, meanwhile the bedroom below the more major leak was getting water damage. The owner of Company B did come out to inspect the damage to the bedroom and had his guy go up a second time and try some repairs that did not work. Dave came out several times with his associate, Cameron (also a veteran) to troubleshoot the leak. He even brought in an outside specialist who diagnosed the problem. One of Dave's workmen corrected the problem, which was poor placement and using too short of length of flashing around the chimneys. All this time, Dave kept in constant communication with me, assuring he would take care of the problem. If it had been him leading the project with his team (which he assure me he has hired more experienced and accountable members) from the beginning, I likely would not have had any problems, but if I did, they would have been fixed much faster with Dave being the top man. He and Cameron will be taking care of the water damage to the bedroom as well. I am afraid I got caught "in-between" which is not really a fault of Dave, just my bad luck due the job being done prior to Dave being the boss of his own company. For all this, I give Southern States Roofing Pros 5 stars and would give Company B only 1. I would recommend Dave and his associate, Cameron in a heartbeat as I have seen how they stand behind their work and will insist their employees do top notch work and will always communicate honestly with you!
