We had a water leak and called south sound water recovery. They showed up that day and started work immediately. They were so easy to work with and did a great job!

This was my first time needing a water recovery service and I am so happy that South sound water recovery was recommended to me. Sean was called on Sunday and he was at my house Monday morning. Me and my family had a toilet overflow which did quite a bit of damage to my home. We came home with water all over the floor. We immediately got online to look for a reputable company and found South Sound Water Recovery. Sean showed up within 40 minutes and immediately started getting things under control. He started taking all these photos and showing me with this special equipment where all this water had gone. I was surprised to know it had gotten in places that I couldn’t imagine. He set up some equipment to start getting the moisture in the air under control. I was a little worried about all things regarding payments but he assured me that they would take all the necessary photos for my insurance company and told me what to expect with making a claim. These guys were very patient as my insurance company kinda dropped the ball and wasn’t very responsive. They sent out Kaden and Bailey out periodically to monitor the equipment until the active drying started then it was daily. The report at the end was many pages long, they really were exceptional and efficient. They worked with my insurance company like they had said. I hope I never have another water damage but if I do, I’m definitely definitely calling Sean and his team again at South Sound Water Recovery!

Not having ever been through a flood damage situation in my own home I turned to my Sister who owns a similar company in Big Bear California for advice. Following her instructions I searched by phone and called to find what my Sister described as a “owner who fits” that is someone I felt comfortable in speaking with and easy to understand by my own right. That was Sean, right from the beginning. His strait forward approach to working with me set everything in motion from contact with my insurance adjuster, testing for and removing asbestos and preparing for treatment, removal of damaged walls and floor materials. Our house flooded on 6/5. I called SSWR that evening at around 5:30. Bailey and his crew were at our house in less than 2 hours to begin the mitigation process. I’d add a 6th star if I could, the guys at South Sound Water Recovery are that good. Tuesday January 2nd, I had a dishwasher failure flooding my entire kitchen as well as some carpeting. When I realized what had happened I Googled “Water Mitigation” and South Sound Water Recovery came up first with 5 star reviews. I called their number and got Sean, the owner, in his truck on his way to a job. When I described what happened he said, “I’ll have a crew at your house in 15 minutes and within 15 minutes Bailey and another worker were here taking care of my problem. I was amazed, the 2nd of January and within 15 minutes there were people already working to mitigate my damages. Throughout the entire process both Bailey and Sean did their best to minimize the damage and save what could be saved to lessen the cost both to me and to my insurance company. They were also concerned about me having to live with all the disruption and make it safe for me to get around and not fall, I’m 81. Was all this fun, no but they helped make it as least disruptive and safe as possible for me throughout the demo and complete drying out process. I certainly hope I never have to call them again but wouldn’t hesitate to if I need them. I can and feel perfectly safe recommending Sean and Bailey at South Sound Water Recovery to anyone needing their services.

Sean of SSWR is amazing. We had a pipe burst that flooded our whole downstairs during the cold snap and Sean drove out of his way to come take a look at our house same day. He gave us an honest assessment to compare with the insurance adjustor, provided a ton of helpful additional info to two panicked first time homebuyers, and even brought out a dehumidifier for us until we could rent more. He was too booked out to take our mitigation job at the time- and was honest about that which is rare- but checked in with us to see after the fact to see how we were doing. He really does care about people making the best choice in a crappy situation.

We extremely focused Bailey and Zack on doing the right thing, while also working with us to make sure our costs didn't skyrocket, giving advice on how to reduce costs not just with them, but with other contractors as well. We come home from a vacation to find that a broken pipe had leaked inside several walls. Bailey came out right away to do an inspection and talk us through what needed to be done. He also took the time to talk us through what the insurance process would look like versus paying for it ourselves, which was very appreciated. Zack and Blaine were able to start the work quickly, and they took great care to protect our belongings and floor from the inevitable mess. Zack talked us through what they found inside the walls as they worked, and was able to show us how far the water had spread. When it turned out the damage affected more rooms than initially anticipated, Bailey and Zack did extra work to make sure that we could stay at our home while work was being done, which was very important to us. I really hope we never need their services again, but if we do, they will absolutely be first on my list.

Worked directly with Sean and Bailey, super professional, and they responded same day and were onsite at my house the next morning. Zack and Blaine were a part of Bailey's crew, they were very respectful to my home and very clean and tidy with their cleanup process. Bailey was really great at explaining the whole process, even the insurance end of it. Highly recommend these guys. They are very up-to-date on the tech they use to evaluate the damage, dry it out, and even their paperwork side. Also the way they demoed out the damaged material was very clean and considerate to my contractor that has to come put all this back together. Demo work get's very messy and they take pride in doing it right! Not a service you want to say "would use again" due to the nature of why I called them haha but if this happened again they would be the first people I call.

Sean was the fastest water mitigation person to respond and one of the few people willing to take a look at our flooded basement during the ice storm. His team got puddles dried up and humidifiers running same day.

Bailey was easy to communicate with, with daily text updates and always available to explain things on the phone. The insurance adjuster seemed impressed with the skill that Bailey and his team cut drywall and addressed to all effected areas without having to remove the water heater or furnace, keeping the rest of the house comfortable. Zack and Blaine did a great job throughout the project and were respectful of the property.

We had a water damage in our kitchen and I am very greatful that Bailey was the person that came to our home to take care of our situation. We were put in touch with South Sound Water Recovery (SSWR) recently when we had a leak under our kitchen sink. The leak impacted much of the kitchen and the rooms below it downstairs. We had a leakage on the 3rd floor and the water came out from the ceiling of the second floor, Sean came over but at that time the water was not leaking anymore and we were not able to creat the same situation to show what happened, but we were afraid there may be something broken hiding inside so we still want to open up and see what’s going on, then Bailey A and Bailey B came over and they were able to find the issue during the detection! That’s actually a relief for us because you definitely don’t want to leave some issue there inside your house not knowing when it’s gonna blowup.

Bailey and Sean were alot of help with the insurance process and what needed to be done for the dry out and repair of our kitchen. Bailey setup dryers/ blowers to dry the crawl space and walls.
