South Industries

Our home construction project was "transferred" to South Industries from the Monolithic Dome Institute in Italy, Tx.
We had paid for a custom design and full construction plans at this stage. We were waiting for South Industries to come up with a contract for us to examine and a reasonable timeline to build. I had done significant work to secure additional contractors, materials and financing over the course of the design process. I clearly communicated that in a single conference call I had with Jon and Rebecca of South Industries, and our desire to move forward as soon as possible with our project. We were told to expect weekly updates during this call and they were sent our construction plans. After that they went totally silent for a whole month. We got an email then from Rebecca which gave only an excuse and rough cost estimate for our project. We knew about how much it was going to be from the beginning, we needed something in writing to proceed with the permit and other contractors. This has set us back significantly and caused me to abandon the project completely out of distrust in them. I sent an email back relaying this and to no surprise I haven't even received a reply yet to that either. I include the excuse email I received after waiting around a month for reference.
