your technician is very knowledgeable and knew where everything is. (I have 2 AC and Heating units). He had the correct sized filters and alerted me to a possible issue. He'll come back once the weather warms up to above 50 or so to check pressures again. I've had Smith-Dahlquist for many years now, and can depend on them to keep me warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

We have been having Smith-
Dahlquist service for several years. They have been very professional. From Hannah calling us and sending out the text reminders to us of our upcoming appointments and all of the HVAC techs that have serviced our unit had been great. We even purchased a new furnace and A/C unit. And Brad was prompt and informative when we had inquiries regarding our new unit.

We recently had a new furnace and AC installed- Evan and Cliff did an awesome job! Prior to that, Mick was out for a service call on our old furnace and took the time to explain everything going on with it and pros/cons of servicing vs replacing. Everyone at Smith-Dahlquist is always friendly, knowledgeable, and pricing is fair!

Evan & Chris from Dahlquist, inc. just finished up installing my new furnace & AC in my condo. I am impressed to say the least! They did a fantastic job. Compared to what was there before the new furnace installation is pretty much a work of art… true craftsmanship. They came on time. They worked continually for 6 hours. Removed the old units and put in the new including the new Sensi thermostat and cleaned up. A++ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have used Smith-Dalquist for between 15-20 years. The technicians and office staff are always professional and courteous. When we recently needed to replace our AC we didn’t flinch or shop around. They gave us a fair quote and since we knew the furnace was old we replaced that too. Good company

Smith-Dahlquist in Sycamore, IL has done numerous jobs (e.g. clubhouse furnace replacement, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC maintenance, fireplace servicing) for our Community Association. The staff has always proven helpfuf and efficient. Phone call to service is often the same day, prices are competitive, and quality of service is great. Highly recommended.

My gas fireplace hasn’t worked for 4 months through the holidays and other gatherings. I finally made a call yesterday and had the choice of time for today. Half hour window of time was right on and within 45 minutes cleaned and explained the issues of the 18 year, never really maintained, fireplace. After working on cleaning the whole thing and adding embers, it not only looked and worked great - the diagnostic (walk-in) charge was waved and I was only charged for what had to be done! I will definitely call them to service this on a regular basis. Thank goodness I didn’t put off calling any longer!

Great service and knowledgeable technicians. Both technicians took their time explaining the equipment issues and gave us good advice about equipment maintenance and care! They are great and easy to work!

Technician was on time, even a little early.
He diagnosed the problems and explained to me in detail what the problems were and what needed to be done to fix them. He was very thorough and cleaned up before he left.

I called for a service appointment for our gas fireplace and was thrilled they could send Terry out the same day! Terry was extremely professional from start to finish. He gave me a courtesy call ahead of time to let me know exactly when he would arrive. Once here, he quickly diagnosed the issue and had our fireplace up and running in no time. He followed with a thorough cleaning - leaving it looking and working like brand new! I couldn’t be happier with the prompt friendly service. Highly recommended!

These guys are great! I call them whenever I have a heating/cooling problem, and they arrive quickly, even on weekends and evenings. And I never worry about getting ripped off because their pricing is upfront and fair. A friendly, professional company.

They sent Terry over and he had the fireplace diagnosed within minutes and then replaced the switch in a few more minutes and now the fireplace is back in action. From the initial contact thru the completion of the installation of our new AC, the team from Smith-Dahlquist did an outstanding job. All of my many questions were answered completely, the installation including a lot of custom sheet metal work looks like it was done in a factory, and I could not be more pleased.
