The Servepro Team did a great job of cleaning up the areas of my house that were affected by a water leak. They were professional, courteous on time and communicated every step along the way. I highly recommend them.

I had an incredibly positive experience with Serve Pro. If I could give this review 11 stars I would.

In January of 2024 I had a pipe burst in my home in the middle of the night. I woke up to my three story home completely flooded, water pouring from the ceilings and running out of my garage. Like most home owners I knew how to shut the main water valve off, but was not equipped to do plumbing repairs, drywall, paint...(you get the point) I called a friend who once had a similar experience and they recommended Serve Pro.

(During this review I am going to focus on the overall process, but also give a shoutout to the individuals that made this experience so pleasant.)

I gave Serve Pro a call and was greeted by Deborah. Not only was Deborah a book of knowledge in her specialty on coordinating the mitigation side of things, she also pointed me in the right direction with my insurance company. (another thing a first time home buyer isn't well versed in) Throughout my experience with Serve Pro Deborah always answered the phone with a professional care, courtesy, and made this process a breeze.

After my conversation with Deborah, I almost immediately received a phone call from John (The Assessor) John was extremely professional and had a sense of urgency to my situation. Upon arrival, I noted Johns professional appearance and felt like I was in good hands. He communicated the process to me and I left him to his work. He wrapped things up in no time and advised me that Steve would be running the mitigation crew and to expect a phone call.

Sure enough, a few hours later I received a phone call from Steve in regards to the process of mitigation. I want to express here from communication to professionalism Steve embraced the culture of Serve pro. I have never in my life seen such a hard/efficient worker multitask communication to such a degree. Mitigation is the second longest process next to the reconstruction process in this line of work. When it comes to company representation, communication, culture, and ensuring a good word of mouth you have to have a Steve on your team. (I hope you get the credit you deserve)

Now on to the Reconstruction side of things

When it came time to rebuild I was greeted by Catherine. Catherine was also a book of knowledge in regards to everything Serve Pro had to offer. She had a knowledge base in all things insurance related and was very pleasant to talk to. Catherine did an incredible job embracing the serve pro culture and communicating with me every step of the way.

Last but not least I want to recognize Joe. Joe did an outstanding job with the reconstruction of my homes interior. Joe worked with me every step of the way to pick out new construction materials for my house. He went above and beyond on many occasions and put in extra legwork to find me the best quality products and ensure that the finished carpentry work was flawless. The silver lining to the pipe bursting is my home looks 100% show room remodeled. Thanks again Joe for all the incredible communication and for ensuring everything was done right.

When it comes to an all in all company like Serve Pro that handles so many moving parts, from assessments, to mitigation and repairs/remodeling I am more than impressed...I will recommend this company to anyone looking to navigate a similar experience.

We had Niagara Falls from a second floor water fountain that broke. The water damaged drywall carpeting, chairs, etc. Joe and his team were out quick, with fans and a team that moved items, cleared items etc. We had them do the full restoration and it looks perfect! It truly is like all the damage never happened. They even matched the paint perfectly! . I would recommend for any size project! Thanks!

My experience from start to finish was great with ServPro. From my first call, they had someone to my house within an hour. Everything was explained to me in detail about the entire process and all my questions were answered. The work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Each time they came out, I got a call when they were on their way. All the workers on the phone and in person were competent in their roles and easy to work with. ServPro will be my first call any time we need clean up from water damage.

My family returned from a weekend away to find our kitchen floor saturated with water. Apparently the ice maker line ruptured at some point while we were done. The water had also leaked down into our basement and soaked our carpet and bottom part of our drywall. We called Servpro right away. A technician responded within 5 minutes and Kurt and his crew arrived a short time later. They went into action right away and removed all the water from both floors. They then removed and discarded the wet pad and carpet and cut out the wet drywall and insulation. Mike, Vince and Enoc then installed several fans all over the area to start the drying process. Frequent visits after ward had them monitoring the moisture content until they determined that it was dry and safe. They saved us from much worse damage. Shortly after that, the rebuild crew and came to start the process of rebuilding our home back to they way it was before the flood. Both crews were professional, courteous, timely and immaculate. My business had their carpets cleaned by ServPro over Christmas break. We were very satisfied with the workmanship and professionalism of the crew. They worked for an entire week scrubbing and deodorizing our carpets. They made thirty year old carpet look clean and smell fresh again. Thanks for the great work! We appreciate it.

SERVPRO did an awesome job on our apartment after a horrible fire broke out in the early hours of a very cold winter morning in the apartment above us! Unfortunately we received all the water damage and smoke damage cause of the fire! But Servpro was there that same morning doing their work! The owner asked us if we had somewhere to stay while the damage was being taken care of! I don’t think every place cares about the customers like they do! Our Library had a water issue in the basement in February. SERVPRO of Dekalb County was very helpful and came to our rescue promptly. The staff was very professional, courteous and responsible. They took the time to explain our situation to me and guided me step by step throughout the process. Thank you for a great experience!

I am an administrator at a local assisted living. We had multiple pipes burst after extended severe cold. The Servpro team was responsive, professional, and communicated the process all the way through. We were back to normal operations quickly. I can't thank them enough for there work.

I had a water leak at my rental property and Servpro of Dekalb County responded quickly and professionally. They had the water cleaned up and the drying process started the same day I called them with my emergency. Both myself and the occupants of the property were kept informed of the procedures and expected remodel times. The house is back to the same condition it was in before the damage and I would definitely recommend Servpro of Dekalb County to those who have water damage to their property!

From beginning to end, my experience with these people have been horrific, and a still ongoing fight. We trusted this company to be in our home without us present, they took massive advantage of it, the more involved we became with the remodel the more we noticed things coming up missing, things that were NOT damaged by water or had any business being "thrown away/taken". The company/Steve had awful communication skills, would set up an appointment to meet at the house and never show up, or expect us to meet hours after the scheduled appointment knowing we were staying 45 minutes away. The actual work done in our house was a disaster, our base floors were not installed properly, in some spots we had 4-5 inch gaps from the walls, in the bathroom the base floor was installed at such poor quality that we almost could not hook our toilet up. When they removed the trim to re do the floors, they destroyed 90% of it, not to mention the insane amount of damage they created to our door frames, in some door ways the wood work is cracked all the way up the door. These are damages Servpro created, we told them they would be required to fix the damages they created at their own expense, which they agreed too, and now a full month after being done with this awful company are trying to charge us close to $1,000 dollars for the trim work. After we noticed things missing, and crappy work being done, we asked that they do not enter our house, and or do work without US present, after that Steve always seemed to of just "missed" us, or would let us know someone was there long after they had already left. Steve has been combative and a nightmare to work with. After seeing the horrible job with the trim removal, and base floor installation, we decided to go with Brother's Flooring to finish our floor job, once Steve realized their was no more money to make off of us he became even more combative and a nightmare to work with. Brother's Flooring did an Amazing job b.t.w. I would never reccomend Servpro to anyone, this company is ran by a crook, and their business methods are downright appalling, they do horrible work on top of being horrible to work with as well. They are criminals who take advantage of people who desperately need help.
