I finally made the ultimate upgrade to pure water window cleaning with a recent purchase of the Ionic System V4 with a 200 gallon tank. I made this purchase through Clean Direct located in Sanford, NC.
Garrett, owner of Clean Direct, provided first class service through every step of the process. From choosing the right system for my use, financing, if needed, and a timeline for installation and delivery that was followed.
My business is located in Connecticut, so I had my Ford Transit 250 van shipped to Garrett and his team for the install. When the install was complete, I flew down to NC where Garrett picked me up and took me to the shop for training on the system. I was blown away by the professionalism of the system itself and the ease of operation. His team did a great job explaining the operation of the system.
Never again will I drag around portable systems and manual hose reels, look for water, or power. Everything is right at my fingertips and saves me time on every job which means more money.

I would give the skyvac elite system 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a good system for what it is. It’s a pain to drag a generator around with you to power this system. The camera system SUCKS!! It’s grainy, it loses synch with the display constantly and it is WAY OVER PRICED!! The bracket fell apart after 3 days of use. Note the 15 day return policy as well. Maybe just buy a GoPro and Bluetooth to your phone. Overall the vac system is not a bad system and has its place. Maintenance cleanings only! Maybe the gas powered models are better but the electric model leaves much to be desired

Just came back from training !!! We drove from Canada and felt like we went to another home. The team was wonderful and super knowledgeable. Would highly recommend attending the training session. We spend a bunch of money for this and it is useless!
Because to the height of our buildings, and the large leaves from all the hardwoods on property, it continually clogs.
We got a like new one for sale if you want it.

I bought the SkyVac Interceptor through Clean Direct. Garrett was very informative and helpful finding me the right product for my specific service needs. He also has been helpful after my purchase when I've had any equipment operating questions. The Skyvac has been phenomenal at cleaning gutters! It's been efficient, easy to use, and keeping me safe by eliminating ladder work on gutter cleaning. I would definitely recommend Clean Direct to anyone in the gutter/window cleaning business. Currently own both gutter cleaning Skyvac machines. We used them for about 6 months before the problems started to show. I can go down the list of problems you can expect when using the equipment.

Would strongly recommend against using or purchasing the gutter cleaning equipment. It falls apart in a very short period of time. Not worth the money for many reasons. Our equipment has barely been used. The motor has a loud backfire every time you shut it off. The cover for the belt fell off. Screws will come out randomly because of the vibration. The cover protection for the reducer came off.

My recommendation is purchase several ladders and hire a worker.

It won’t take as long to complete the cleanings. Using the equipment adds additional time to your gutter cleanings.

This review is meant to help prevent others from wasting their time and money on equipment that doesn’t serve the contractor.

I bought a skyvac and it’s the biggest waste of money I’ve spend on my company. When you’re vacuuming dry stuff, the filter plugs up, and when you’re vacuuming wet stuff, the hose plugs up. Pair that with the fact that the sections either get so stuck you can’t get them loose, or they fall apart when using them, and the fact that the hose statically charges while using, causing you to get small shocks every 10 seconds, it’s overall a nightmare.

It doesn’t speed up gutter cleaning, it’s a nightmare system to work with, and in the end you still have to go up ladders.

I purchased the SkyVac Interceptor from Nick. I wish that I bought one sooner. It’s a great tool. Gutter cleaning is my least favorite service that I offer, but since I bought the SkyVac it’s made the job easier and safer, because I don’t need to use a ladder on most of my jobs. It’s saved me a lot of time and it impresses my customers, because it shows the great investment I have put into my business.

I spent the day in a training session with Garrett and learned a lot. He really knows the cleaning business! I was interested in gutter cleaning solutions for myself and as a possible side business opportunity. I purchased a Skyvac Interceptor Gutter Vacuum and I couldn't be happier! It works as Garrett said it would and did a great job the first time I used it. My gutters were full and the vac cleaned them perfectly. It's not as "fast" as walking around on the roof with a blower but there is no cleanup after, like you have to do when you blow gutters out so the total job time is likely the same, and I never had to worry about falling off the roof! Garrett and Lynn were great to work with and I highly recommend doing business with Clean Direct. Although it might not be an option for all, I recommend the in-person training as many questions you may have will be answered. Thanks again Garrett, Lynn and the rest of the Clean Direct Team!

I’m a homeowner that became tired of climbing a ladder to clean my gutters, so I purchased the Mighty Atom. This system works wonderfully. Powerful enough to rid my gutters of all debris, but sized to make it easy to maneuver around my home. Easily cuts gutter-cleaning time in half, probably more, and no lugging the ladder around. Very happy with this.

Customer service is top-notch here as well- prompt shipping and great communication.

I own a cleaning business in San Antonio and have multiple clients that have inquired in the past regarding high dusting services. During my research I decided to give SkyVac a call. I spoke with Garret initially and was in my discovery phase. Garret was super professional and knowledgeable. At no time was I ever pressured to complete a sale. Months later I returned a call to Garret when I was ready to purchase. Garret immediately asked me size of my business and the size of the locations I was currently cleaning. Though this process I noted the return air quality from the machine was important to me. Although the SkyVac 78 is the machine that comes with the HEPPA rating, Garret let me ,know that with a slight change and cloth bag on the SkyVac 30 we could achieve the same results with a better entry price point. Order was placed for the SkyVac 30.
I received my order the following week via freight. This company know how to pack your precious order. I was overly impressed on the protection measures taken. I unpacked my order and was blown away by the quality of this machine and carbon fiber poles. The poles were lighter that I expected and the storage bag for the poles and attachments is super thick and far beyond what I expected. The hose for the machine is long enough to allow you move with ease and flexible enough you are not fighting with it during cleaning. The attachments are awesome as well, far beyond the quality of anything I have ever used in the past. Do not think you are going to buy something less expensive that will perform the same as these attachments.
My first job was a complete success! The power of this machine is freaking awesome! The noise level was acceptable and the homeowner was also impressed. I cleaned a popcorn ceiling that was crazy dusty. The SkyVac 30 and the attachments made the job a breeze and the homeowner happier than I was!
I will be back for more machines as my business expands.

Horrible experience with the camera system for the sky vac system. Once the charge is low the system doesn't work the battery can't be replaced without an electrical professional so it's basically trash from there. The representative offered to sell me a new monitor for 400.00 dollars. My system was 13 months old so the 12 month warranty doesn't cover it. Buyer beware.

I purchased a SkyVac gutter system last year and it's been well worth the investment - especially on difficult and steep roofs where access is difficult and dangerous. It's expensive but you pay for quality.

Responsiveness, transparency, flexibility, and knowledge are the name of the game with Skyvac/Clean Direct. Communications are returned within 24 hours, and with complete information. Reps know their stuff and can answer any question about any product. They are also cost conscious and will work to get you the best deal. They are an indispensable resource.

We purchased a SkyVac for our retail business with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The vac was much easier to use and maneuver than anticipated. Garrett was helpful from start to finish and even FaceTimed us to help with converting the nozzle to floors. We purchased for a fraction of what companies were going to charge us for a one time cleaning and now it’s ours to use for future as often as we need. Great experience and would highly recommend!

I purchased my Sky Vac 85 for gutter cleaning going on 3 years ago and have had nothing but great experiences with this unit. I went into this purchase not knowing exactly what to expect and im so thankful that I made the decision to move forward with the purchase if the unit and it paid for its self in roughly 3 months. Garrett and his team have been very helpful with any questions I have had and help with operating the unit properly over the last almost 3 years. It has definitely been a joy to have built such a strong business relationship with this group.

I've been going back and forth with your company and clean direct. I'm guessing he is one of your vendors. I purchased an electrostatic charger from you guys. It did not work. I sent him a video upon his request and he tells me "he THINKS it's the battery not the charger" I explained to him the battery still works it wont charge.  I talk to him on a friday he tells me he was waiting to hear back from victory tech support should be monday. I message your company and text him on Wednesday not hearing anything he calls me on Thursday telling me he was sick and hasn't heard from victory and if he doesn't hear anything I can send it back for a refund. He contacts me the following day telling me I can ship it back in the original box and packaging and to get insurance on it. After he inspects it he will issue a refund. Also telling me he thinks it's the battery not the charger. So I contact Victory myself they ask for the video they contact me 10 minutes later telling me to send them the charger and they will send me a new one free they have never seen any issue like that and the engineers want it. They told me If it was a battery issue the gun wouldn't work. They also told me they haven't spoke to anybody else about this charger issue. I was waiting on Garett for a week because he was waiting on Victory to get back to him. I tell Garett about this and he sends me a thumbs up emoji. I dont care Garett can keep my money for selling a damaged product. This guy works with your company it's not a good look.

Very good product for cleaning my gutters from the ground I do not have to worry about falling off the roof anymore

I am the owner of my business. We use the SkyVac 85 unit for all of our gutter cleaning and have never performed gutter cleaning any other way. After doing extensive research before adding this service to our existing window cleaning business we determined that of the 4 methods (by hand, leaf blower, pressure washer, vacuum) the vacuum method is the best method by far when it comes to balancing efficiency, safety, end result quality, and professional appearance. We have grown our gutter cleaning service tremendously using just the one unit and do everything from 60 home HOA's to 24 two and three story building apartment communities to small individual houses and garages. Later on we had the opportunity to do a 55,000 square foot high dusting job. We got it and purchased 2 of the SkyVac 75 units for high dusting and performed the job with amazing speed and no issues. The people at SkyVac have gone above and beyond for me several times, the most notable being right at the beginning. We actually purchased the very first SkyVac 85 unit sold in the U.S. but it was still on a container in the Atlantic. It wasn't going to arrive to this SkyVac USA distributor in time for us to receive it for a large apartment community job. The owner of SkyVac USA voluntarily shipped us a whole new unit but with his demo vacuum head so that we could get the job performed in the time when the client needed it. Then when the new 85 unit head came in he shipped it to us and we shipped his demo unit head back. This is way above and beyond and makes them the best vendor for equipment or supplies that I've ever dealt with. Over the several 10's of thousands of dollars of work we have performed with the system we have broken 2 of the cabon fiber poles (one by being stepped on accidentally and one by being smashed by something else in the work van). SkyVac USA replaced one for free for us and were not obligated to in any way. We have had problems with the poles sticking together especially on all day jobs where the tubes aren't disassembled several times throughout the day like on single residential jobs. (these are what I will refer to as the legacy poles since we got the unit early on) The new pole design with compression latches resolves this problem and SkyVac USA has offered to sell us the newer pole design at a significantly discounted price when our existing poles need replaced. Like everything, your equipment will stay nicer for longer the more diligent you are to maintain it. It is good to clean the carbon fiber regularly with silicone spray. It is not a silver bullet. It's not going to completely keep you from ever getting up on a roof, but I would say we only have to get on a ladder on maybe 1 in 20 residential jobs for example. Pine needles are a struggle for it since they have very little surface area for the vacuum to latch onto, but it is still doable. An average sized house might take us 2 hours on a bad first time clean, but future cleans on the same house would be between 30 min to an hour. I can't speak into the camera system as we went a different route for that aspect since we had a camera already to use. The quality of the equipment in general is premium and far better than anything else I've seen designed for this use.

This review still stands true 5 years after my original post. The SkyVac is by far the worst piece of equipment we own. We were told it would perform at a high level and would change the landscape of our business. The facts of owning this equipment tell a different story. We do not use it because it's very very slow. The suction is not very good. We spend most of our time removing debris from the pole system. If the gutters are clogged much at all the process is ridiculously slow. A standard size 2,000 sq. ft. home can take well over 2 hours. The poles get stuck together and break frequently. I have owned the SkyVac system now for almost 2 full years and have used it less than a dozen times. Our business does hundreds of gutter jobs yearly but we cannot depend on the SkyVac system. It does not perform and requires a lot of work to force it to get a job done. The camera system is nice but well overpriced. The picture I uploaded shows where my SkyVac system has been sitting for the past many many months. SkyVac USA has been trying to sell me another SkyVac unit but refuses to DEMO it for me. Why would I spend more money on a system that has already been a failure in so many ways. Avoid the SkyVac, it will only cost you money and time and unfortunately you will not get a good return on either.
