NOTE: REASON FOR THE STAR IS TO GET THIS POST OUT TO OTHER CONSUMERS, NO STAR EARNED FOR WORKMANSHIP....Let me be the first to say: Steven James @ SJ Construction is not as professional as they would like you to believe, beware of hiring this company because they DO NOT BACK UP THEIR WORK OR THEIR WORD. Steven has done work on our camp in Grand Isle La. The awnings they, (him and his crew) installed is still leaking today some 4 or so years later, Let me be clear l have notified Steven personally on several occasions where he says he'll show up to fix the problem but problem is, not him or any of the crew has shown up as of yet to do just that.The last time l notified and spoke directly with Steven was just after becoming victim to the Baton Rouge flood where we lost everything, He then promised to come and take care of the problem he left behind at our camp in Grand Isle...but just as soon as he hung up he left us out to dry. Never showed up and to this day has never called us back. So it is my mission to let everyone in on the workings of this company. Again BEWARE if you are considering hiring SJ Construction for your awnings or other work.
