Communication throughout the entire process was terrible. We signed the contract in June, but didn't have the work done until Dec. We were told this was due to a delay in supplies (understandable) but we were not informed this was even an issue until I reached out to our project manager in Oct to see what the hold up was. The roofing job was/appears good quality BUT they contracted someone to repaint our house and the repaint job was terrible. We are already needing to have someone come out and touch up the work they did (this was only 8 months ago).

Nathan at Simple Roofing was great, he helped us get our house repaired so we could list it for sale, he got the ball rolling right away, doing an estimate and contacting the insurance company, he expedited the schedule so we could sell the property as soon as possible, managing the crews and keeeping in touch with us through the whole process, he made the whole headache of fixing the hail damage much easier.

I had hail damage to my house, garage and storage shed. Evan, my project lead handled everything - the materials purchase, the roofing crew and the interface with his negotiating team who handled my claim with the insurance company. The result was a high quality roof - although the negotiating team had to spend alot of back-and-forth time dealing with my insurance company who eventually (through several payments) paid for the entire cost of the repair.

Great job...Went far and above what was in the contract at the same contract price. Nate who we dealt with was kind, courteous and professional.Ours was a cement tile roof. Thanks for a job well done.

I highly recommend Simple! They came out to my mountain property and did an amazing job. They installed a hidden fastener standing seam metal roof which looks great on my house. The whole area needed to have the tiles lifted off, and structurally "squared up". Then pieced back together. And Simple Roofing & Exteriors did a PERFECT job. Looks brand new. :-) ... We had ceiling leaks in our 6 year old home. I found the company on-line. Evan came right away and we had an estimate within 24 hours. Kevin came and replaced 4 roof vents which had not been installed properly along with 3 windows which had poor framing and had leaks. Kevin did meticulous work. The company was always responsive when I called or texted with questions. We will be using them in the future for exterior house painting and fence painting. He took the time to work up the shingles and get the area prepped CORRECTLY to install the pipe seals. Kevin then spent the time to properly fasten, trim shingles, weather seal, and paint to match the roof. After watching and talking with Kevin and how thorough he was, I decided these guys were going to be the ones to do my future exterior work.

Our project manager, Eduardo Pulido, was fantastic. He took over our job early from another manager who was unable to carry through due to forgivable family matters. Eduardo and his partner manager did not miss a beat. They worked together for the hand-over and he quickly understood our roof situation. He went to work quickly getting everyone and everything lined up. The best part is that he was savvy about the particulars of homeowner's insurance and how to apply the possibilities of our coverage to the ongoing process. The discoveries made on roof under layers after the job began were included in the reconciliation of payments applied by our insurer against the expenses. Eduardo helped us pay the absolute smallest outlay for our share of responsibility. Finally, he stayed with us through the finishing work of all related surfaces by returning several times to see that the work was professionally and thoroughly completed. Thank you so much, Eduardo!

If their extreme diesel pollution is any indicator of how they do business I would stay away. I just witnessed their truck continually blind traffic from excessive diesel fumes while I followed . While I don't like the pollution, the most irritating thing was how thick the smoke was and how difficult it was to see.

I needed my roof inspected, and they did a great job coming out the next day to inspect and do a full report. Very professional and easy to work with.

Our experience with this company was an unmitigated disaster. We hired them to replace some siding, paint our house, and build out a covered deck. We had to fire them from the deck job because they were so utterly inept with the paint and siding, which took THREE MONTHS to complete.

Among the many lowlights:

-We needed three separate painters to complete this job. The first crew was beyond sloppy (they brought a single tarp to paint a 4,000 foot house), with overspray on everything from fencing and new windows to entire sections of roof. They also showed up unannounced to paint our house in the dark and rain one night. Thank God I was home to stop them.

-Painter # two was better (how could he not be), but he also oversprayed on a different section of roof. This company is allergic to paint tarps.

-The siding guys tried to install much lesser insulation than what I paid for. Had I not been monitoring them, they'd have covered it up and I would never have known. They also dented furniture, were generally disrespectful, and left trash and nails EVERYWHERE.

-The delightful owner wanted to make sure we knew that his crews only made these mistakes because we put too much pressure on them. Seriously.

-It took months to finally get a cleanup and nail sweep out of these guys. It was performed by the owners' son, who was embarrassed by the state of the site and the work done.

-Not only did we NOT receive a discount for the delays and endless problems, the final price was much higher than the estimate. Expect constant pushback about explaining the price increases on your job.

Painting is hard work, but it is literally the simplest thing to learn to do to a house. If this is how a paint job goes, I can only imagine how they handle bigger jobs. Use anybody else.

I learned of Simple Roofing and Exteriors, and particularly Evan Kelly, from a neighbor who referred him to me for hail damage to my roof. I contacted Evan and he came and inspected my roof. He helped me throughout filing my claim and met with adjusters on many occasions showing hail damage. Ultimately we went to arbitration and after 4 months was approved for a new roof. Evan knew relevant codes and relied on them to get a new roof. He was dedicated, professional and determined. He is a valuable credit to Simple Roofing and Exteriors. I give him 5+ stars!

I am in the process of selling my home, and after a recent home inspection and communication with a different roofer, I was leery of the recommendations I was initially provided. The owner of this business came out the same day I contacted them and found the product needed locally. They finished the job within a week at a price lower than the first estimate. Over the past few years I’ve had Daniel at Simple Roofing and Exteriors out multiple times to inspect my roof for possible damage. Each time he would tell me that my roof was fine and there wasn’t a need to replace it.
About a month ago my wife and I decided to put our house up for sale. The buyers made us an offer but expressed some concern for the roof and asked us if we would replace it. My wife and I were under contract and in the process of purchasing our very first home. I called Daniel at Simple Roofing and Exteriors and ask if he could meet me at the house to inspect the roof for possible damage. Daniel immediately informed me that there was significant hail damage to the roof and gutters and that the insurance should cover the replacement of both. Daniel met with the insurance adjuster and got both my roof and gutters bought by them. We have a barn with a very low slope and the shingles were just blowing off. We had 2 other companies bid the job and they both wanted to just replace what we had. Evan and his crew suggested a standing seam metal roof and it was priced well and looks and works way better than what we had before.

He fought for me when my insurance company refused to replace a damaged roof. Successfully he was able to convince my insurance to cover the full replacement of roof with the help of a mediator.

Evan helped me fix a damaged drywall due to rain. My tenant was so impressed and my tenant sure let me know about the excellent job. Currently, I’m working with Evan to repair and replace exterior sidings in one of my houses.
