First time working with Mark and he will definitely be our go to person for any future work. Him and his team were so thorough and efficient and had great communication in every step of the process.

Mark and Bill repaired the vinyl siding on the exterior of our house and we couldn't be happier. Mark quickly responded and delivered a quote, then scheduled our job for the following week. We had some old, extra materials that they were able to use to keep the costs down and they did not balk at using them. Bill was prompt, did a great job on the house, and didn’t leave even a single nail in the yard when he was done. We definitely recommend them.

Side Jobz recently tiled our front porch. It looks awesome. They remodeled our basement 2 years ago. Very happy with every aspect of their work.

Mark and his crew just finished our bathroom remodel, the workmanship and quality was outstanding, no complaints there.
Now for the not so good, as for mark procuring certain materials (I.e ..sub floor, flooring, shower materials, plumbing shut off valves, ) no receipts could be reviewed as he could not show us any .
In my research of deferent suppliers I found that the price of supplies side jobz procured where highly inflated in price in our final invoice. It is this some what shady business practice that I give only a 3 stars.
My advice to those considering using side jobz demand a full and detailed accounting of materials.

Mark and his crew are friendly and skilled. I had a complete bathroom remodel and they kept to their promise to stay on the job until it was finished. In just 2 weeks the work was done and we love the outcome. Mark worked within our budget and didn’t push us to spend more than we needed to on anything fancy. Thanks guys!

Side Jobz has performed several projects for me over the years, both big and small. Mark and his team are incredibly responsive and thorough. Pricing is very fair and transparent and I have a high-level of trust in the group. Side Jobz is always my first call for work around the house - highly recommended.

In 10/23, our house had a roof leak requiring remediation in a bedroom. After several rounds of roof repair attempts, we finally had success in stopping the water intrusion and moved toward remediation and rebuilding. However, the holidays caused a scheduling bottle neck for various remediation contractors. Finally in 1/24, we were referred by Tony Datillio at Summit Construction to Mark Zemko from SideJobz LLC for the rebuild (the best referral we could've asked for!) Mark Z subsequently referred us to Watermark for the needed remediation work. Mark said his company had experience working successfully with Watermark in the past on remediation/rebuild jobs.

Upon Mark Z's request, Alex Wasson from Watermark came out within 48 hrs to give a free estimate. Since it was not an emergency, Alex was able to schedule our job in 2 weeks, lining up with Mark Z's rebuild company's availability. Watermark was willing to follow the remediation protocol drafted by Josh Draper of Mold Quest, and Alex kept in close contact with Mark to ensure the rebuild would happen in a timely fashion. Watermark and SideJobz LLC worked seamlessly together over the course of 2 weeks. Watermark kept their containment up for Mark's crew and placed a new negative machine to remove dry wall dust during the rebuild which helped cut down the dust levels. Mark's crew did an excellent job laying insulation, installing new dry wall, painting, and installing a new ceiling fan. The price was very reasonable and the job was well done.

However, perhaps what stood out most was Mark's kindness not only to me, but also his workers. At one point, on a very cold day, Mark even walked a package that had been delivered to our front porch, back to our deck since our front porch was cordoned off during the rebuild.

The workmanship and integrity of SideJobz LLC was impeccable! We were blessed to have Mark do the work for our rebuild!

Mark helped us with water damage repair after a dishwasher leak. He was very helpful, timely, knowledgeable and resourceful. We were so impressed with Mark that at the same we used him to paint in our new home. Mark is trustworthy and incredibly kind, would not hesitate to use him for any job!

I hired Mark of Side Jobz to remodel a condo I bought locally and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. He orchestrated all aspects of the project and was in contact with me throughout. Excellent results with the remodel and remember looking at it saying this is beautiful. I highly recommend using Mark of Side Jobz.

I am very pleased with Mark and the service that he - and his team - deliver. One of the best things is that Mark ALWAYS stays in touch to let you know what's happening and when. I really appreciated that. He met the deadlines he committed to. He had good ideas when I wasn't sure about something. He did a total remodel on my bathroom - removed the tub and replaced it with a HUGE shower, new floor, new toilet, new vanity, drywall, paint - even hanging the towel racks! There were some items that were not in the original quote, but Mark always checked with me before proceeding. I would definitely recommend Mark and his team for any home repair/remodel - I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom

Chimney chase and house siding repair and painting. They did an excellent job. The workers were very professional and the area was cleaned up and the job was inspected by the company owner, when it was finished.

Hired them for an unusual carpentry job. After discussions with Mark and Mark, they figured out how to make it happen. They were not the lowest bid but I felt they understood what I needed. Mark did a great job! Excellent workmanship. Very happy with my decision to hire Side Jobz LLC and will work with them on future projects.

Mark did a great job on 2 projects for us this week. We were very pleased with his communication, rates, and with the work completed. The projects were completed in a timely manner and the job site area was cleaned up after. Highly recommend.

We called on Side Jobz to install some French doors. This work involved drywall, installation of doors and painting. Mark’s crew did a tremendous job and was very meticulous and thorough with their completeness of the job. Communication during the job was exceptional and the work was completed within a reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend Side Jobz!

We just purchased a new house and had several projects that we needed done. I reached out to several contractors that all said they were interested but Mark was the only one to actually show up and provide an estimate. Mark and Andre did a great job, they completed everything in a timely and quality manner. We had a wall put up in the basement to close off an area, a light fixture moved, ceiling fans installed, and light fixtures removed and replaced. In addition, we had a plumbing/septic issue while Mark was there and he was able to call up one of his guys and get the name of a place that came that day within a few hours and fixed it. We also had a faulty fan and Mark came back out to remove and replace with new fan. We will definitely use Side Jobz for any of our home projects and we highly recommend them.

Mark and his crew did an outstanding job on the remodeling of a room in my basement. I so appreciated the fact that Mark was always there when he said he would be and kept open communications. The quality of the work was excellent and Mark and his crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend Side Jobz for any project.

Mark really took the time to look at what needed to be done with my chimney and took the stress out of this unwanted project. He is very honest, dependable and has an amazing team of resources. Once we said go ahead, he had his team over here and the entire project was completed in a couple of days. The chimney turned out amazing and we no longer have to worry about leaks. I wish I could post a picture of it. Quality work and will be using him this spring to add shutters to the house. HIGHLY recommend him.

We have been enjoying our beautiful new kitchen for the HOLIDAYS !thanks to Mark Zemko/Side jobs. Mark said our kitchen would be done for the HOLIDAYS and kept his promise. Mark is a perfectionist and everything from beginning to end was orchestrated perfectly to allow this kitchen renovation to flow perfectly. His staff were amazing. Mark and Jeff, his carpenters were very experienced and creative professionals that worked miracles in our kitchen. Jack and Joe our electricians were wonderful as well. Chris from south lyon plumbing was awesome in implementing his wall plan. Mark's staff were always courteous and respectful to us and our animals, taking care to make sure doors were always shut protecting them. Eddie our tile installer, was genius!! I'm so thankful Mark, that you have such a wonderful, talented, staff. You were there for us every step of the way. We are so happy with our kitchen!! We can truly say if you want the job done right hire Mark Zemco as your contractor. You will be happy with the results.

Would never use this company again! Needed three cracked tiles replaced on my kitchen floor. Had his contractor come out and fix it, two days later the grout was chipping and tiles were moving. The owner then came out and basically said it was the sub floor and not their fault. He never came out to look at the job in the first place, charged me 100 dollars for the first hour and 70 per hour after. I paid a total of 215 dollars, he said the price was high because I said it was an emergency. Rip off company, BEWARE!!!!!

I have had numerous projects completed by Mark and his team over the last few years. He is competitively priced but more inportantly is extremely reliable. Mark always has top quality people that work with him on projects. When Mark and his team are working on a job my family enjoys having them in and around our home. Additionally, the work completed is done on time with high quality.
