Our home unfortunately experienced a sewer backup in April, which required us to replace the flooring. We immediately contacted Robert from Shields Build and Renovate, and he assured us that he and his team could restore our basement to functioning order. After the lengthy process of dealing with the insurance company, Robert and his team completed our flooring installation within three days. The team was professional and friendly. With a curious toddler in the home, it’s the small things that make all the difference, like feeling safe with contractors who communicated daily about the project’s status and their next-day plans. They cleaned up after themselves daily, leaving the basement spotless when the job was finished. We are thrilled with the finished product and are already working with Robert and his team on another project in our home. Thank you for giving us our living space back!

I don't have enough words to describe the excellent experience my husband and I had with Shield's Renovation for the remodeling of our outdated master bathroom. Everyone who worked for Robert - Daniel the electrician, Anthony the plumber, David and Ed the tile guys were master craftsmen. Robert did an amazing job. I am more than pleased with the completed job and the timely manner that is was accomplished. He will talk to you through each step of the process and go above and beyond your expectations. My basement went from an area where I wasn’t proud to have friends and neighbors over. Shields Build & Renovate work at my home was nothing less than outstanding. At the start, when evaluating the job, the owner walked thru my home with me to determine the best place to install my new staircase without taking away from the aesthetics of my home.

While the team was constructing my staircase, they were careful about protecting my furniture, walls, windows and floors.

After construction, they cleaned up very well - making the area look as if no work had been done - I knew only that a beautiful staircase had been installed to my pleasant surprise.

Complete renovation of a bathroom that had a tub/shower. Drop ceilings with soffits on top of it all! Look at the before/after pics. We hired Shields to put a master suite addition on our 1970’s colonial home. From the start, Robert and his team were professional, reliable and honest. Our addition project took about 3 months to complete and we couldn’t be happier. We added about 400 square feet to our home and it has given our family the extra space we needed, while being able to stay in the home and neighborhood we love. Robert kept myself and my husband informed during the entire project. Robert made sure all the subcontractors he hired were up to his and our standards. Rob did an amazing job fixing our wall and window during our bathroom renovation as well as insulating the bathroom for us! He was very quick to respond and to get in and do the work for us. He even cleaned our floor from the front door to the bathroom when he was done! Highly recommend Rob and his team!
