A tree fell on the power line coming into the house which bent the riser that comes up from the meter box and goes up to the roof. Nick was the technician who helped us and he did a great job. I would recommend Nick R. and the other guys at Residental Electric because they are great at explaining all parts of the problem and answering any questions we had about the meter box, breaker box, and riser. Our house is around 60 years old and has outdated electrical systems. Nick replaced the meter box for us, installed a new riser, and tightened the power line coming into the house that had a lot of slack after the tree fell.

Josh was awesome and very helpful. He answered our many questions and took care of everything for us. Would absolutely recommend this company.

Danny, was fast and professional to work with over the phone. He was very quick to respond and accommodated our schedule as best as he could. Josh showed up to assess the issue and was also very professional and laid out three different options for us. He did do some troubleshooting which came to a cost of $275, which came as a surprise when it was a free estimate. However, I’m still very satisfied because their value for the money seems to be very fair. Decided to install a sub panel off the main in a detached garage for an EV charger, which will require running trench and some rewiring because the price seemed right. Looking forward to seeing the work completed and will report back then.

Josh came out and helped a ton! I had some outlets fixed and a flickering light taken care of. I’ve also used Residential for wiring a sump pump previously, and it was a great experience!

Had some dedicated outlets installed today by Josh! He was a pro; showed up early and got right to work, cleaned up afterwards, and everything is working great!

I called a few other places to try and get someone to come out. No one answered, no return calls, nothing. I called these guys and Daniel answered the phone on the 2nd ring, was very nice, got me an appointment and came out. He even called me saying he was running alittle behind schedule which was very nice of him. If you run into the same issues I did, call Daniel. He will atleast answer your call. Nick and his crew at Residenal Electric did a fantastic job with my 200amp service upgrade, panel replacement, and EV charger install. All four of them were friendly, professional, and efficient — their work was clean and high-quality, and they took care to explain everything clearly throughout the process.

I did have a frustrating experience with the owner, Danny, who referenced items from the company’s terms and services that weren’t actually listed in the contract in an attempt to justify additional charges. While I appreciated that a no-cost solution was eventually reached, the way the situation was handled didn’t feel very professional.

That said, the experience with Nick and his team more than made up for it. Their work was top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any electrical projects.

All interactions were professional. The electrical work was clean, quick, and competent.
It cost $2900 for a full service upgrade (everything from the service entrance to the breaker panel), $725 for a sub-panel, $675 to install a bathroom light and some outlets, and $425 to run a new circuit for a range hood.
Deducted a star for sloppy cuts while installing the bathroom light. Partially my fault for not being more explicit in my instructions.

Best electric company hands down. Talented workers, accommodating, polite, I literally can’t say enough nice things about them. Helped me with emergencies, non-emergencies, and everything else. Great prices, great people. They’ve redone my whole house, new things and old things. Would give ten stars if I could.

Josh, the electrician, was so polite, punctual, and mindful of the doorways and walls, and was such a pleasant young man. He changed out an exterior backyard light and a light over my kitchen sink, as well as installed two new smoke detectors. He did everything as I wanted it done. Contacted them to install a EV power line after they quoted it. Talking through all of this with Danny was extremely very simple process as he was very quick in responding. The installation was also great with Derick. Derick was extremely polite very friendly completed the job and waited to make sure it worked and charged the car. This is the company you should use if you need electrical work. They also came out to do some other electrical work. Extremely professional and thorough. Would use again.

I called Residential Electric to get a quote. They were very helpful and competitive. They called back and we set a date and time. They sent two electricians, Nick and Ron that arrived at 8 am right on time and ready to work. Very professional and polite.

Had them out for 3 separate jobs on my property. The first time should have been enough for me because they drilled a hole right through my roof running wiring. Accidentally of course but it happened and was properly corrected after I called it out. 2nd job all good for generator inlet install. 3rd job I was extorted for money over work items that were not in the original quote nor was the additional work requested. His associate made the mistake once again and apologized. I had them out to check flickering lights. Months later and they still flicker. I got a chunk off the “new price” but only because I stood up otherwise they would have took it and ran. Be careful because when you talk to Danny his team often time has a different idea in mind.
