Joe Belanger and his crew were quick to respond to my water damage emergency and kept in constant communication as to the restoration at hand, working quickly and professionally to get the job done. The crew was on time, friendly and helpful, taking care while moving the equipment in and out of the home and answering any questions I had about the remediation process. I would recommend this company to anyone needing damage restoration.

While the actual work in my home was great and the workers were so kind and timely, I found Joe to lack any basic communication skills and didn't follow the needs to the insurance company. I was supposed to have someone come daily for recordings on the dehumidifier and air scrubbers for proof that they were doing what they were supposed to. My insurance approved three days but they left them almost five with no readings for proof that they were needed additional time. He would tell me they were coming and then not show up. Every single text I sent him about this went ignored. In the end my insurance company was able to work it out, but I found the lack of follow through and communication very stressful while trying to navigate an already stressful time.

I had small amount of water damage in my bathroom. Called Servpro and they came out to start drying everything the same day! Joe Blanco & Ethan Bentz were knowledgeable, quick, and thorough with the job. Thank you Servpro!

On December 2, 24 the laundromat below our apartment had a dryer fire. During this fire our apartment filled with smoke and soot damaging our items as well as leaving a horrible smell and mess behind. My family and I were lucky to have renters insurance allowing us the ability to have Servpro clean every part of our apartment, including walls to our personal items right down to the inside of our cabinets. With this they also had a smell eraser machine. (Not sure the name) that did wonders you would never know that our apartment had the damage it did at that time today!! Thank you so much to the amazing Servpro team and my contact Joe who kept me up to date at all times and was accurate with their timeline!!! My family is forever grateful

Joe and his crew from SERVPRO came out after an ice dam for water mitigation. They were understanding of a scheduling issue and did a fantastic job drying out our house. Can't go wrong with them!

Servpro came in to my 1st floor condo to repair water damage caused by AC return above me. This is a 2nd home so I was not there during the dry-out.

They did an amazing job of drying in between the ceiling & floor of unit above. When I arrived a few days later, I could not tell they had been there. The place was spotless!

The best surprise was the price was almost 30% less than what they had quoted!!

I know they were professional & courteous to those who admitted them to my unit. I also know they reached out each time prior to showing up.

I would use ServPro again anytime!!

I was a self-pay, as my homeowners insurance (AAA) refused my claim. Therefore, I was treated as an afterthought and it took a solid month (when they could find time) to complete my basement cleaning from a sump pump failure. I was expected to be home at all times in case they had time to work on my job. Meanwhile, they kept the hepa vacuum running which tripled my electric bill. I am not happy with the results as stains are still on the floor. I will not be recommending.

I have worked with ServePro on many varied projects. They are always timely, efficient, and professional. We have a long term relationship that I value.

SERVPRO SYC has been very responsive to helping in my recovery from a toilet flooding incident over a weekend period while unattended causing significant damage. Their team has been very professional in accomplishing the Demo and drying work needed in a very timely manner. They worked closely with me to abate and salvage as much as possible and identify all areas that needed attention.

Great bunch of guys! Had 2ft ice cold water in cellar…hubby was away for work so had to deal with it on my own. They were awesome - helped me move heavy stuff, helped dry out a huge wood pile, and stopped in to check on me way past their normal work hours. All this while dealing with 100 other homes that had been hit ocean side. Definitely recommend!! Thank you guys for helping!! My hubby owes ya! ;0)

Good Morning, it is my pleasure to send an outstanding review of my experience involving Serve Pro in early Jan. My phone reaching the current manager was totally my fault , but the office was supportive and from the point I reached a staff member , they took over. They were cooperative, efficient including working with my insurance co. I got better and was confident leaving Serve Pro in charge and left for the winter in Florida. If you have an unfortunate incident call them in Portsmouth.

SERVPRO helped us with water damage from a leaking roof after a storm.. wonderful to work with, prompt and did an amazing job getting things dry. Returned as needed during the busy days around Christmas. They removed Sheetrock to dry things out and expected to have a mess from what they needed to remove and it was totally cleaned up. So grateful they did this work for us. We highly recommend them!!

I am grateful for the clearing out of sheetrock and wet insulation after rain came between a window and wall in my attic after the December storm. The water was a lage amount. They worked carefully, neatly, and got the job done quickly with no damage to my home from tools or equipment. The two staff members were friendly and helpful in answering my questions. They came daily for 5 days to check dampness levels and moving dryers and dehumidifiers.
I am grateful for their knowledge and work.

We needed extra space, and the unit we rented was MUSTY. Not what you want in a professional office. It was wafting up out of the basement and filling the whole space. ServPro found the mold, cleaned it up, deodorized, and now no embarrassing musty old building smell. I came home after being away 2 weeks to a finished family room and basement full of water. Servpro quickly sent out a team to clean and dry the area. Pete worked directly with my insurance company to file a claim. His team literally took care of everything - water removal, disposing furniture, cutting wallboard, and removing doors, floors and mopboards. Having 6" of water in your basement is debilitating. This happened to my mother recently and we were not around to help her. I called ServPro and explained my position. Within a couple of hours they were at the house accessing the situation. Extremely friendly and comforting having them take care of this situation for us. I was informed every step of the way of what needed to be done and when they would be at the house. They were extremely kind to my mother which helped her get through this. We were very pleased with the work they did, the professionalism and the speed in which it was done.

My dad had just passed & we need to sell his little house-a very small ranch style. I was "stood up" at my first appt with ServePro after driving an hour to meet. Went to check the house after the cleaning & found that one whole room was skipped & the rest of the house was barely acceptable. This was after I gave the two cleaners $25 cash as a tip because the day was so hot. I hate to leave a bad review but need to be honest.

John and his staff did the clean up and the interior demo of our house after a destructive fire. Still a bit more to do but so far they have been excellent. Great communication and John has always been on the end of the phone or text to answer any concerns I had. His crew made every effort to give us the opportunity to salvage items rather than just blanket dump all the contents of the house. Hope to never ever have to use them again, but if I need to, I would definitely use these guys.

While in the process of getting ready to put a house up on the market, we realized that we needed a deep cleaning for the downstairs basement and family room. We were under time constraints, but it was a job beyond our capabilities. I called Servpro. They were responsive, they got an estimate to us right away and worked with us to meet our deadline. We had floor, carpet, wall and ceiling damage from an overflowing urinal. They came right away! The entire team worked quickly and quietly. They followed through every step of the way. Awesome job! Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, this was the best experience I have ever had with a mitigation company. The owner of Servpro of Southern York County performed as well as any company I’ve ever dealt with. We are looking at a $1M loss in John’s company handled all of the mitigation. He protected all of our property, laid down tarps, protection on decking, protection of walls… Doors, etc. He kept our property secure by ensuring that doors were locked and provided updates more detail than you could ever imagine. He assisted us (and the owners of some of our condos) with contacts for moving their personal belongings out, he had dumpsters, delivered and picked up very timely, and made sure his employees respected all the rules and regulations of the property. His employees were respectful and faced a lot of challenges with anxious owners. I commend John and Servpro of Southern York County for an incredible level of service. If your insurance company doesn’t recommend Servpro, insist that you’d be allowed to select your mediation company. You can’t go wrong with Southern York county Servpro.

I can’t say enough good things about this crew. They were there within an hour of my house flooding, extracted all the water and had drying equipment in place in less than a day. A few days later they came and did the removal of all the damaged drywall/flooring/etc. they did an incredibly clean demo and left the house very live-able for the interim.
