This was my first insurance claim since being a new home owner and goodness gracious was it stressful when my sump pump failed. My insurance recommended Servpro and they do not disappoint, thank you Servpro!

We live in a two story condo with another unit above. After 9 years of care free living we experienced our first condo horror. The upper unit owner was unaware that the condensate line from his HVAC had come out of the floor drain. After several hours of water draining onto his utility room floor it finally managed to do what water does, find the lowest point, my condo floor, via the can lights in the ceiling. ServPro had just made similar repairs for another unit owner in our complex and was highly recommended. I called them and of course this was a Friday afternoon, yet Ryan, the owner, came out by himself, evaluated the problem, cut open my ceiling, removed the wet insulation and set up the necessary equipment and began the drying process. Problem solved as soon as everything is dry and the ceiling is repaired, right? Wrong! The day before my repairs were to begin, the contractor making the repairs to the upper condo cut a water line with a sawzall and here we go again. ServePro was back out within a few hours and the process started all over again. This time water rained into two additional rooms. Everything was dried out promptly and effectively. I hired my own contractor to do the re-construction and things were back to normal within about two to three weeks.
You won't believe the next part. The upper unit is finally nearing completion and a plumber is hired to connect the water heater and water softener. In the wee hours of the next morning the water softener goes into recharge mode. The discharge line running from the softener to the floor drain breaks loose where it connects to the softener and begins to spew gallons and gallons of salty water throughout the utility room of the upper unit and, you guessed it, **** runs downhill. Now our unit is deluged with salty water contaminating the same areas of our lower unit and also our hardwood floors. If you're keeping track, this is the third time we are experiencing this problem in less than 4 months. Again, ServPro gets the call and they respond swiftly and immediately begin the remediation process. Again, I hired my contractor to do the reconstruction which, as of this writing, has just been completed.
What a nightmare. You can't make this stuff up. Throughout each of the three incidents ServPro responded promptly and was totally dedicated to properly, efficiently and effectively completing the remediation process. They had the utmost respect for us and our property and went out of their way to contain the dust, dirt and grit in order to protect our health and prevent further contamination. Their communications were far better than expected throughout the process. I can't say enough about how well ServPro handled everything. Thank you, guys. Your efforts are appreciated.

I've never been in this situation before so was a bit clueless, Servpro was quick to get out to my home and walk me through everything. We had a very positive experience with this company after a leak in our shower wall. They were prompt and patiently took the time to explain the billing and drying process during this stressful situation. We really appreciate that they were upfront about everything and did not attempt to add any unnecessary services. We only had positive interactions with all the staff, from the owner, to his associates, to the individuals in the office. Hopefully we won’t need their services again, but would definitely return to them in another emergency situation.
