Yes I'm just speechless about this company,I had to file a Workmen's Comp case and this company are the ones they go through.They haven't done anything except try and push it under the rug,Sent me to a doctor that told me he was there only to do an evaluation on me and I wasn't allowed to talk to him or tell him what was wrong with me or anything. He hit me on top of my knees in the back of my ankles and said that he was sending a review into a Acuity insurance agency He was a workman's comp doctor a second workman's comp doctor they sent me to The first time they sent me to a sports injury doctor and after I seen the second doctor they stopped communicating with me so I had to get a lawyer and that's where I'm at right now I would not recommend this company They will not help you and workman's comp does not care about you. They stopped my checks without even letting me know or even reaching out to me and telling me anything and put me in a financialBind I'm unable to work I can't bend over I can't pick anything up over 20 lb and they're trying to rush me back to work I do construction and I can't do construction if I can't pick anything up or bend over.

I've only been with them a year, but when my daughter had her first car accident since getting her license 7 yrs ago, they were clear, courteous, and quickly made an assessment/issued funds for the loss.

We recently had damage to our roof due to a hail storm. After reporting the claim the adjuster reached out immediately and got the process started. Everyone has been very courteous and professional. All our questions were answered and the claim was finalized quickly.

No one wants to have to file a claim with an insurance company but I have to say, Acuity made me feel heard and supported throughout the process. I would give their responsiveness and communication MORE than 5 stars if I could! And since this was a claim on one of their customers and not myself, I’m considering moving my home and autos to Acuity.

I had an excellent experience with Acuity Insurance’s claims department, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Laura Pascoe. Although Acuity was not my insurance provider but the provider for the other driver, Laura’s professionalism and proactive approach made the entire process much smoother than my previous experiences with my own insurer, Farmers Insurance.

Laura was incredibly easy to communicate with, thoroughly understanding the complexities of my situation. Her closed-loop communication and swift responses made the process stress-free. Her attention to detail and quick action truly made a difference, and I want to give her the outstanding credit she deserves.

Overall, this positive experience has made me seriously consider Acuity as my primary insurance carrier. Their commitment to outstanding customer service is truly commendable. Highly recommended!

SUMMARY: No matter how appealing their quote looks—don’t fall for it. Go with a major insurer with a strong local presence in your state. You might pay a bit more each month, but when you need help, you’ll want someone who can send an adjuster to your door and cut you a check that same week. Acuity will only multiply your problems and pain.

DETAILS: A relative I care for had insurance through this company for nearly 10 years without ever filing a claim—until her car was damaged in a hit-and-run. That’s when the nightmare began:

1) Three weeks of delays just to start the process. They required our dealership—the largest in Arizona—to resubmit all its paperwork using a completely different system than the one they originally told us was acceptable.

2) A ridiculously convoluted process to turn over the totaled car. They kept claiming we hadn’t submitted paperwork that we had sent multiple times. Then they required us to coordinate directly with their local pickup company, which failed to show up twice at the scheduled time. Acuity then turned around and complained to us that the car wasn’t picked up on time. Really?

3) Nearly two months to issue a check. The entire claims review process dragged on for weeks and weeks and weeks. And there was no reason for this at all - it was a straightforward hit and run case, with a clear repair estimate from a reputable local dealership.

4) An indifferent, unhelpful adjuster. Our assigned adjuster had all the charm of a robot but none of the efficiency. She consistently took two days or more to reply to even the most basic questions—and the responses were usually incomplete or irrelevant, triggering another two-day delay with follow-up questions. She frequently promised to send information and then didn’t follow through. The lack of urgency, empathy, or basic professionalism was stunning—especially considering this all happened over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

When i bought my home this company was recommended when i had a roof problem they became the problem i recieved a termination letter from.them today WITH A LIE SAYING THAT THE ROOF IS DETEREIORATING ON MY HOME. IT IS NOT .ALSO ,IT QUOTES CLAIMS .IT HAS ONLY BEEN ONE CLAIM .The adjustor WE CONTACTED spoke with US ONCE AND HE NEVER CALLED US BACK TO START THE WORK SO we went with another company WITHOUT OF POCKET EXSPENSES because their payment was too low .THE REAL REASON IS THIS, I SENT THEM A SCATHING REVIEW ABOUT THEIR AGENT AND SERVICE.THE ADJUSTER WAS GOING ON VACATION AS WELL .BEWARE SHAME ON YOU ACUITY .

This company refuses to answer any questions if you purchase insurance through an agent. I called to ask a straightforward question—what is the maximum number of rental properties one person can insure through them—and they declined to provide an answer, instead referring me back to my agent. Unfortunately, my agent had already asked the same question and was also unable to get a clear response.

Alright so at first, I had a van insured through insureon. No claims. About a year later, I need to add a vehicle to my policy. At first, they got a number wrong in the vin and I ended up being insured on a similar vehicle that i did not even own. So that was frustrating. Fast forward, Alex is now my account manager and I am speaking to him. He swaps it over to the right bin and vehicle real quick and gets me the proper id cards, but It took a couple days. No biggie, I have other paperwork to sort out which include a business name change all going on at the same time.
Figure that out and then realize the insurance is under the old business name. It’s game day, already 2 o clock, and it’s looking like I’m going to have to wait yet another weekend to sort this out. I got money tied up in it, I got people on my back, I need receipts, etc etc, this needs to get done it’s been a month already.

So I call Alex, and this guy is the man. Takes him seconds to change the info and I’m told the cards will be emailed to me by the time I get to the courthouse to register the vehicle. Thank you Alex, thank you acuity, and thank you Alex. Hopefully my point that Alex is the man is getting across. Perhaps not always the fastest in my experience, but dude comes in clutch when I needed him to and that’s what matters in my eyes. When you need em, you got em, and Alex is the main focal point of that fact. Go get you some acuity.

Absolutely terrible. Used them for decades, the minute I have a claim they denied it. Had two different inspector determine we suffered major hail damage to our roof. Several of our neighbors did too and got coverage. Then they sent former Senator Roger Roth, who is now their inspector and they denied the claim. Security roofing is doing the work today and said “boy you had a lot of hail damage”! Cost me $25,000. Acuity and their inspection team are crooks.

We’ve been Acuity customers for years and are very happy with the company. The rates seem competitive and most importantly when we’ve had a claim it is easy to talk with a real person who helps..both our agent as well as people at the company. I have a friend with a popular tv advertised brand and while her rates might be a bit lower, when she recently had a auto accident ( not her fault) she had a difficult time with her discount insurance ( as well as with the other drivers company). Nothing but hassles and at such a stressful time of minor injury and being without your car too. We also like the fact that we are supporting a local company too.
