The work the team did on my mother’s basement was absolutely excellent. The crew lead was respectful and communicative and they all worked quickly but safely, and they were attentive to the small specific requests we made. The crew also protected all of our personal property while they worked on the damage.

Jimmy, Julio, Victor, Maria, Denzel and Juan were phenomenal! Very thorough, patient with questions, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. No slacking, just got the job done no matter how long it took. All this and on a Sunday too! Couldn't recommend higher.

My daughter used Servpro to remediate black mold. There are 2 minors living there. They finished job and contracted came in to put back walls. The contractor told my daughter he saw black mold and Servpro needed to complete job. Servpro said they followed protocol...????....They won't complete job unless she pays More money....be careful hiring this firm. Buyer beware!!!!!!

I am reassured, amazed and completely satisfid with SERPRO. There was a leaking, hot water tank in my condo - water damage to my entire livingroom floor, laundry room and parts of the garage. I called and Jimmy returned my call within 30 minutes, and he and James came over the very next day to assess. Work began the followong morning, and the entire place was dried and fresh in 48 hours thanks to their fast response. Now the restoration team will be over next week. I highly recommend SERPRO of Orange County for their professionalism in service and ability to reassure and calm the customer during a disaster.

Unbeknownst to me, I had a mold and water issue in the walls of my house. I called Mike at Servpro and he guided me through the whole process. Bob came out to see the situation that day and got a crew out. The crew was professional and understanding. They had the wet walls and floors ripped out in no time and brought in the drying equipment. I would definitely call Servpro again!! Thanks Mike and Team Johnson!

Terrible company, employing thieves/liars. Our house was emptied out by Servpro but they made sure to leave a few very expensive items laying around, then staged a break in and everything including a firearm was taken right after their “last day of the job”. Our home sat for MONTHS after our fire and was filled with valuables yet nobody ever tried to break in and nothing went missing until Servpro came around. It’s clear it was either the servpro workers themselves or they told a friend about our house to steal our stuff. Just an all-around garbage company.

ServePro professionally dealt with the mold nightmare caused by a leak from a drainage pipe in the wall cavity. This job encompassed the upstairs kitchen, downstairs bathroom and the laundry room. They worked closely with my insurance adjuster to make sure they were aware of the extent of the mold as well as an environmental company who came out to test and layout the remediation process. Though I never want to go through this again, I wouldn't hesitate to call ServePro if needed in the future.

We had a fire sprinkler head freeze and blow off at our church on Christmas Day. We had previously used this ServPro on another water damage incident and were pleased with their work so I contacted Bob Charles and explained the situation. Within a couple of hours he had a crew on-site removing the water to mitigate further problems. I am very grateful for their quick response on Christmas Day!

I would never recommend this company. They were hired to remove mold after a flood in our basement. They threw away items that should not have been disposed of since they were non porous and could have easily been cleaned and restored. Our family lost thousands in items that, according to their contract, should have been kept. Priceless family heirlooms, tossed without question or consideration. They never replaced a window they removed to hook up their exhaust which caused damage to our pump after temperature dropped.

Used Servpro to clean my carpets yesterday! Fantastic job, very professional and friendly! Came in and got right to working on my white carpet with tons of stains. The job was better than any other carpet cleaner I have used in the past!! Highly recommended!! I am extremely satisfied thank you Servpro!!!! lol

I used them when I had a fire 2 years ago and I have been calling them for the past 2 weeks for a few issues that I am having with the mediocre repairs they did that is falling appart and was told that the supervisor some ladie called lory was gonna call me back here I am still waiting and I call servepro off Middletown every day and nobody has called me back yet

Have used ServPRO of NOC previously and chose them for a water event that occurred during the recent ice storm. They came quickly and provided comprehensive and professional service. Kudos to Nick, Tyler, Dylan and the office staff. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This process from begining of project went exactly as written out in proposal which was very surprising. Everything was seemless and very well communicated. Our Rep Laura Johnson was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Her onsite team was effecient and clean throughout the project. Servpro was great at coming to clean up right after the fire but did a terrible job at working with us and finishing. I understood its a process with permits but it was constantly arguements. Its been a year now since the fire and we still haven't received all our items. Every time I call its nearly impossible to get an answer or to be taken seriously. If you have a fire you are allowed to hire outside workers and contractors. I recommend doing so because servpro did not care nor did they do enough to help.

I have used servpro prior to this last hurricane that effected us in the northeast. I will always be a loyal customer. The team is always responsive and prompt. They are professional and trustworthy. My experience with ServPro was all superlatives. They came within hours of me reporting my flood damage. Their team was very thorough and considerate. I recently had water damage at my home and, the water mitigation team came out and did a great job with the cleanup and removal of damaged items. Where I experienced inadequate work, unprofessionalism, disrespectful mannerism, unresponsiveness...I could go on...is with the restoration team. From the contractor, to the project manager to the owner that I spoke with. They say one thing then do another. It has been over a month since they installed my tiles unevenly throughout my kitchen. They have made numerous promises to fix the problem and have not shown up to date. I strongly recommend that you use another restoration company. These folks do not respect their clients or their clients' time and money.

Servpro not only was professional, but truly remarkable with how quickly they made the service call. As a first time home owner and experiencing a water damage for the first time. Servpro was at my house within an hour of my water damage from an ice dam. They let me know what was going to be done and kept in touch for the next couple of days while my walls dried out. They were able to dry my walls within a couple of days with fans and dehumidifiers that I did not need any demo done. Saved me from an insurance claim and more headaches! Will use them in the future with any other issues.

twice and didn't show up and didn't even call me back to tell me they weren't coming . That's not what happened you confirmed with me Monday morning that you would be there by 12:00 in the afternoon and then nobody called me back until 2:00 I called you and you guys said you weren't coming I took the day off Monday because you already guys told me you were coming back Monday I offered Wednesday in the beginning and they refused they said we had to come Monday or Tuesday why would I offer Wednesday if I knew I was already off they told me Monday so I took off and you didn't show up and I confirmed 8:00 in the morning. I spoke to your office Monday morning the 23rd at 8:44 for 2 minutes 39 seconds I have to call on my phone recorded if you don't believe me then again at 10:00 in the morning we confirmed and you didn't show up

Needed emergency cleaning service at my elderly parents home. Servpro was sympathetic and extremely responsive. They came the same day! Unlawful, negligent, and unprofessional business practices are all you can expect when working with this company. They will contact your insurance company to find out to the penny what you're being reimbursed and then conveniently provide a outlined detailed estimate consuming every last penny. Then when you ask for the details of the actual work done you will be met with the sleazy used car dealer demeanor of management Jason who will call and bully you tells you that they don't do that because he doesn't have the "time or energy' to provide detailed reports even though NY State law (Section 756-A under general business obligations) clearly states that labor/materials are to be disclosed to the customer. Then after being spoken over and yelled at you'll be threatened with collections. So. If you're OK with abysmal customer service, no deadlines, having your tenant's lives disrupted for 8-10 weeks, unprofessional, poor workmanship, threats, and no financial transparency this is the company for you! Good luck.

First thing in the morning we realized we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Servpro was called and showed up in about an hour.
The guys that came (Jermain, Cory, Nick) were not only professional and efficient but very friendly. They hooked up all the equipment and we thought we would have it there for 3 days or so but they were able to come back the next day and remove it all because it was nice and dry.
I would recommend your company, especially these guys to anyone who asks! Great job!

When my water heater sprung a leak and flooded my basement, I thought it was going to be a long drawn out nightmare but thankfully Brittany and her awesome team came to my rescue literally that same day and 2 days later it was like it never happened. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience today with ServPro of North Orange County. I contacted them late last night with a concern for mold that was found in my apartment that we just moved into. Upon speaking with Brittany she reassured me and was prompt in setting up a time for one of their mold specialists to come out. Hello America this is MR PLOW. My little company is nowhere as big as Servpro, however, they give me honest and quick response whenever I need them. I have dealt with Laura and Brittany many times, and they always do what they say they’re going to do. I have to tell you, I looked at some of the other reviews for this company here on Google, and they are just not fair. A lot of the work that Servpro does his insurance work, and properly handling these insurance jobs takes a lot of back and paperwork and administration that the customer might not even know about. Doing these projects correctly does not happen overnight. I deal with a lot of companies here in orange county, and I just feel like these people are very honest and fair and they keep their word. Family company. Good people.

I have a couple properties in Sullivan County, and I use this Servpro to do my carpet cleaning, and my duct cleaning. They have also handled my mothers flood in her basement in Callicoon. I always deal with the owner or his daughters, and they get things handled and send me a bill. Good communication. Nice local service company. Also they have a cute dog in the office which is sort of cool. The grandmother makes cookies every year for Christmas and brings them to the clients. I would give five stars, but they only give me like eight cookies. :-). Honestly though, nice people.

My wife and I are both retired. We have a condo in Warwick that we both just love. When we are not in New York, we are down in Florida, which seems to be longer and longer every year. When we came back to see the grandkids for Christmas, we walked into a disaster. There was water everywhere, and the ceiling had collapsed in our living room. My wife was crying. It was horrible. We called our insurance and they told us to call Servpro. We dealt with Brittany and Nick. Brittany had guys at my house in just a couple hours, and they handled everything with the insurance people. It wasn’t A quick process, but these insurance claims never are, and the Servpro people made us feel like we had somebody on our side. They saved what could be saved and wasn’t ruined, And our only real cost was our insurance deductible. By the time everything was done, it was better than new. So kudos to Servpro. Howard F. The North Orange County ServPro team was an absolute pleasure to work with. They came and saw the space less than 2 hours after I called them on a Sunday afternoon. They had a huge team there the following morning at 8am and got the very large job done in 1.5 days. They were completely self sufficient and took care of every single one of my needs without ever bothering me. They are professional, courteous and pleasant and I couldn't recommend them more!

They need to change their name to servamateur as they are far from pro's. They have 1 person on the damage side and another on the construction side. Neither one will do the others job. Then when you speak to one of them and they tell you something, it will not happen. They gave not only me a date they were going to start construction but they also e-mailed it to my insurance company. Once they didn't show up, I called them and received a call back from a Dylan who told me that it was their "goal" to start then but I was not on their schedule and he was the one that makes that decision. When I questioned why I was told that I was on the scheduled he said I was never told that and neither was my insurance company. Don't use them for anything as you will be disappointed.

Beware of this company! First off, let me say that the kids who came to my home for the clean up and demolition were great! They were all honest, very hard working, and nice. My home flooded this past summer and my Allstate Insurance agent recommended I call Servpro for the cleanup. The woman who answered the phone at Servpro told me that unless I provided her with an Insurance claim number they would not come out. Upon waiting for their arrival I read their website which clearly states, "We specialize in water and mold damage restoration, the cornerstone of our business. We have the training and expertise to safely handle any mold situation.” They also claimed, "We’re Highly Trained Mold Remediation Specialists.” So when they needed to remove my furniture and my vintage one of a kind oriental rug- that was in perfect condition - which I had for over 30yrs, I felt comfortable and trusted them. Upon the return of my items my Oriental Rug was covered in black mold. Now remember, this is one of a kind and cannot be replaced. The supervisor Jason (as per their website is not a certified mold technician) who was at my home when they brought back the rug and discovered the mold, assured me that he would personally oversee the cleaning of the rug and would call me. Needless to say I called him a few days later and was told that they are working on it. After another week of not hearing anything I went down to Servpro to see what was happening with my rug. This is where I met the extremely rude and unprofessional Brittany, the office manager. She took me into the sweltering warehouse where my rug was laying on the floor. Not only was mold still visible, but now my rug had white streaks. I told Brittany that they needed to stop trying to fix it themselves and send it out to a professional restoration company for oriental rugs because they were ruining it. That’s when she told me that it depended on the cost of doing that verses the cost of the rug. I asked to speak with the owner and she told me that I couldn’t!!!!! She said she was the office manager and only she would speak with them! After asking her 4 times for their name she finally gave it to me and then refused to tell me when they might be available. (Apparently they are in the witness protection program because I can’t think of another reason why she didn’t want anyone knowing their names!!!) She never even once apologized. I was so upset that I contacted my Insurance agent Cheryl at Linda Langs office in Washingtonville to help me resolve this issue. Luckily, she was extremely sympathetic in understanding how much the rug meant to me. She was also as upset as I was by the way I was treated. She then offered to deal with Brittany herself on my behalf to resolve this issue, which took her over a week to do because Brittany continued to be difficult. In the end after ruining my rug by not sending it out to be cleaned properly, they sent me a check with a PINK POST-IT NOTE attached written by Brittany Johnson that said “I’m sorry for ruining your rug”… which clearly wasn’t true since she showed no remorse while I stood in front of her begging her to have my rug professionally cleaned.
Servpro does not have a climate-controlled warehouse. They obviously do not have the highly trained mold specialists they claim to have. And the Better Business Bureau does not accredit this Servpro office. I highly recommend that if you ever need any sort of Cleanup & Restoration that you DO NOT call Servpro from Middletown NY!!!!

When we had a sewer back up in our office Servpro was there within the hour to clean up the mess. Even though this was a small job, they treated me like I was their only job. Very attentive and thorough. GREAT JOB SERVPRO.

I have used the services of Servpro of Orange and Sullivan for more than 20 years. Personally, I have had them clean carpets in my home several times. Professionally, I am a claims specialist. I have recommended this office to my clients many, many times. Their response is always quick and they arrive at the promised time. Working with Serv Pro of Orange County was one of the worst vendor experiences of my life. My house burnt down Memorial Day weekend in 2016. My insurance company required us to use ServPro for fire mitigation services. They were supposed to secure the house from further damage, restore anything in the house that could be salvaged and prep the house for repair. They were horrible at every thing they did. The owner and his daughter met with us the day after the fire and tried to sell us on using them for the entire restoration of the house. They were incredibly smarmy and smug through the entire conversation. They have the compassion of a satisfied reptile.

Securing the house:
* They left the doors wide open after their first day boxing up items from the house -- literally wide open. They even propped open the storm door.
* They let water leak into the house from the water main for over a week. they didn't address it until I complained to the insurance company.
* Their patch to the roof allowed rain to get in and they didn't address the leak until we complained.

Salvaging contents:
* If I had paid for this service directly rather than the insurance company, I would have sued them.
* Their selection of what was recoverable and what was not was completely random. Pieces of furniture that were no where near the fire were deemed to be ruined but items that were in the room with the fire were considered OK.
* The adjuster asked them for a list of contents in our attic so that he could include it in our settlement. They left off most of the contents which would have caused us to lose a couple thousand dollars in our settlement if I had not caught the error.
* They were unable to produce a list of what they took from the house for weeks after the fire. I had to raise the issue to the insurance adjuster before they would send us anything.
* Almost nothing was cleaned when it was returned to us.
* When they returned our belongings they gave us items that belonged to other people.

Preparing the house for repair
* Their demo work was mostly ok. The crew that did that was incredibly detailed and polite.
* The crew that sprayed sealant on the parts of the house that remained after the demo incredibly careless. Children could have done a better job. They ruined a set of interior doors we were trying to save and sprayed sealant on our front door and walk way.
* They were unable to clean or mitigate the damage to our attached garage though they were paid to do it. They made it seem impossible. However the company we paid to repair the house had no problem doing so and acted like it was an easy task.

I tried to get them fired from the job but the insurance adjuster wouldn’t let me. Ultimately, I was only able to get the scope of their work limited to the minimum a restoration company had to complete.

If you have some sort of disaster, pray that your insurance company does not use this company. They will make it worse. They are horrible, horrible people. I noticed that Google has one review for them from Brittany Johnson. Please note that she is part of the family that owns the company.
