Got my roof replaced yesterday. It looks beautiful! Bill P. (Home Pro owner) gave me the proposal on the day we met a few weeks ago. I had requested estimates from a few roofing contractors previously. Home Pro wasn't the cheapest but wasn't the most expensive either. But Bill struck me as the most honest, as he described the Owens Corning Platinum roofing system his team is certified to install. I trusted my gut (and a little research) on this decision and it worked out as well as I could have imagined. The crew arrived at my house a little before 7 am. 7 guys, including the foreman. They worked all day (except for a brief lunch break). Everyone knew their role. WOW! They've done this before! It was actually fascinating to watch! They ripped off 2 layers of old roofing; dumped all of it into two 30 cubic yard roll-offs; installed the system exactly as described and cleaned the place like you couldn't tell they were there. I was a little concerned before the job about possible cost overruns for rotted understructure (is that a word?), but Hiram (the foreman) showed me the rot and assured me that it was necessary to replace in certain areas. Removal of all the rot, measuring, cutting and installation of new substrate (hey, that's the word!) with the first few pieces gratis (that's free...) bumped up the job by $330. Not bad, and now I can sleep like a baby! Thanks, Bill. Thanks Hiram. And thanks to the Home Pro team that worked behind the scenes to facilitate issuance of the building permit, the material purchases and deliveries, and who will register my 50 year transferable warranty with Owens Corning. Great job by all, and I could not be happier with my experience with Home Pro Exteriors! I recommend this company to YOU! You won't be disappointed!!!

We had Home Pro install a new roof for us and they did a tremendous job - unrelated to the new roof my older vinyl soffit vents had separated leaving room for birds to enter - I called Bill and he sent a crew to repair the problem - they sealed up the area and did a perfect job and Bill said they did it as a courtesy - this type of service is unheard of in today’s world - great company - great workers

When I thought about needing to replace my leaking roof, I was overwhelmed, until I met with Bill Pignataro, owner of Home Pro Exteriors. I already had a few other estimates but Bill put my mind at ease. On day one, he presented me with all of the material I would need to further educate myself on quality roofing systems and he gave me color charts for both GAF and Owen Corning products so I would have everything I needed to make an educated decision. Within hours, he sent me a fair and very detailed estimate with an explanation of step by step procedures from tear off to clean up. Impressed right from the beginning, I knew that this was the company I wanted to work with. Still not sure about color, Jim Klein, Marketing Director, sent me pictures of my house with the colored shingles I was considering. This made it easy to make my final decision. The weather report was predicting eight days of rain, so I was worried. I called Bill and he personally followed up on the building permit and scheduled my job for the next day.His crew arrived early the next morning and worked diligently to complete the job in one day. At the end of the day, I had a beautiful new roof and no more worries about the next eight days of rain. Home Pro Exteriors is a Platinum Preferred Contractor so my Owen Corning Duration Series Shingles have a 50 year transferable warranty and workmanship is warrantied for 25 years. Home Pro Exteriors will be the first company I call when I need any exterior work done on my home in the future. Before I retired, I worked as a marketer on some fairly famous consumer brands and then for my own service business. I used to tell my team that our brand was a promise. A promise of excellent Service, great Value, and top notch Quality. I believe that if you deliver on those three things, on your brand (promise) to the very best of your ability, you will be successful no matter what else is happening in the marketplace. Home Pro Exteriors did just that and hit the ball out of the park on all three benchmarks. Their professionals show up on time. They were courteous, helpful, answering all questions, and working non stop with great skill. They were able to take my complicated roof and deliver excellence in just two days… and they didn’t leave until every last nail and scrap of the old roof was completely swept up and carted away, leaving my property better than it was before they got there. That's what I call great service.
In terms of value, I estimated this job with four other established roofing companies. Home Pro’s price was competitive and fell in the middle of the quote range - and it didn’t increase one cent from the original quote. As far as my wife and I are concerned, it was a fair price and worth every penny we paid. Outstanding value.
When it comes to quality, you cannot beat the materials and the warrantees that come with a GAF roof. All materials were guaranteed for 50 years. Labor to cover any post job issues was guaranteed for 30 years, But given the quality of the materials and the workmanship, I highly doubt I will ever need to access either warranty. Where else can you get a quality guarantee that’s strong?
Bottom line, Home Pro Exteriors delivered Service, Value, and Quality to the max. I highly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

I had all the windows of my house installed by Home Pro in 2018. However, because I never bothered to lock my windows, I had trouble locking them recently when I tried to. When I called Joe, telling him about the issue, he had someone come over to my house within a couple of hours to make the adjustments so that the windows could be locked. When I I called Joe to thank him for taking care of the issue and ask him how much the charge would be, I was surprised to hear that the work was gratis.

I had Home Pro here at my home on 2 separate occasions. The first time to replace my large front window and more recently my large side window. Both times they did a wonderful job and Joe gave me a very fair price. I highly recommend Home Pro.

I needed a new roof, and two windows replaced. Home Pro Exteriors was recommended and so they were my choice. Everything came out beautiful, especially my windows which were skylight windows and in much need of repair. They cleaned up every piece of roofing and construction material in the yard, working with flashlights when necessary. The employees were very professional and very helpful. I highly recommend Home Pro Exteriors. You will not be disappointed.

Five stars across the board! I can’t recommend Home Pro Exteriors highly enough. I wanted to install a skylight in a spot that previously had one but had been roofed over—though the original interior opening remained. I expected them to simply install the new skylight, but they went above and beyond, also repairing the interior framing, installing bead board and adding trim to finish it off. Now, my living room is flooded with natural light, and I couldn’t be happier!

On top of that, they even fixed a loose side panel on my house—at no extra charge. The team was punctual, meticulous, and incredibly respectful of my home, taking care to move or cover anything that might be affected. Outstanding service from start to finish!

After 6 years of having my siding installed a piece of the soffit came loose on the windiest day of the year. I called home pro and they sent someone within 45 minutes. They fixed the soffit and then checked around the house and found a piece of siding loose. It's so nice to see a company stand behind their products and installation. Since I have had my roof replaced I have a major problem with bats. I have called Home Pro 9 times and have spoken with the owner Bill every time. He said they had the same problem with another home and they worked with an exterminator and went out to fix the issue. Each time I called, he said he would get in touch with the exterminator to coordinate a date and time to rectify the issue. Here I am 4 months later, now in the middle of winter, with bats in my house. I would not recommend them based upon their lack of follow up on an approximately $25,000 job. Don't use them. They don't stand by their work at all.

Joe is a consummate professional. Joe always got back in a timely manner and updated me what was going on with fire Reno. He also reached out to Tenant and kept her her abreast of the progress of the house, which was great!!! I give Joe the highest possible rating!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We've never done work like this before and it was a big job, so we were stressed by it (28 windows/patio doors, including expanding almost a dozen of them). Joe was great with the planning process and made multiple visits to get the vision right (including improving it with his recommendations) and pricing affordable. They had a small army of guys do the replacements in less than a week and with a great eye for detail. Couldn't recommend more.

Home Pro Exteriors, Inc. did my roof back in 2018.
About a month ago, (September 2024) I noticed that there were yellow jackets on my roof next to the front porch. I sensed that they had found an opening in the fascia of the roof.
So I decided to call Bill, the owner of the company, and without any hesitation, he sent two guys to check on my roof. I also learned that they spray I was applying had caused some discoloration of some of the shingles. His employees quickly told me that there was an opening in the fascia, so they closed it and applied a cleaning solution and brushed the fascia and shingles. The workers, who were friendly and respectful, also reinforced part of my porch to keep the flying insects out.
The next day, I texted Bill thanking him and asking him if there was a charge, to which he quickly said, "No." That was a very nice surprise and since today is Halloween, I considered it a real treat!
This is what I call great service from a serious and reliable company.

Very unprofessional. The workers damaged our AC unit, gutters and satellite dish. Sent multiple emails with pictures, made multiple phone calls. Finally, the owner agreed to meet with us to go over damages. Unfortunately, he never showed up. No phone call, text or email. We are still waiting...I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I have never been happier with a company completing work on my house. Let me start from the beginning.

In our area, finding reliable, honest, trustworthy companies to complete work on your house is almost impossible. From the moment we met Steve, we were happy and relieved to have found Home Pro. His communication and follow through is absolutely amazing. He is honest and while this quote was more than two others we received, we knew the job would be done right. The relief that I felt knowing we chose a company that stands by their work can’t be described. I will gladly pay a little more for a job that I know will be done right!

A screen was damaged during the roof installation and when I notified them, they took care of it right away.

The crew doing my roof was excellent and did a very thorough job of cleaning up and ensuring there were no nails in my driveway. They tarped the areas and checked in before and after the job to see if I had any questions.

I really could not be happier and will recommend them to everyone. I will be having them come back next year for a window install as well.

I appreciate care, politeness, and discipline. Thats what Pro brings. When a sky light had a leak near where they had put in our lifetime shingles, they insisted on immediate attention to the situation. A few days later the truck appeared at 8:00 am, and six hours later both sky lights were removed ,new trim, supports and sealing installed.
. After everything was cleaned up (even using a nail detector on the driveway), two guys cleaned and POLISHED the sky lights. Thats called pride ! Pro pride!

Home Pro Exteriors (HPE) replaced the roof on our townhouse. The materials were high quality, the process was exceptionally well managed, and the job was executed by workers who were fast, professional and courteous. The communications between the contractor, his on-site foreman, and me were timely, responsive and showed that they valued the customer. With that said, I have absolutely no reservations recommending HPE for roofing, or quite frankly, any of their other professional service offerings. Very Professional organization from beginning to end. I was very happy with Jim Klein the salesperson giving me all of the upfront information and being available to ask questions. We setup the date and time and they were right on time. The people who showed up knew exactly what to do and helped me to move a few things from the perimeter so as not to damage anything. They had anywhere between 7 to 10 people working and except for lunch time I never saw one of them not working. When they left it was almost like they were never here except for a new roof. My roof started to leak after DM Roofing Company installed it only 5 and 1/2 years ago. I went to the Home Show at OCCC where I talked to two other contractors that refused to help me. They told me that they don't fix other contractor's problems. I went up to Home Pro Exteriors Inc, where the owner, Bill Pignataro was nothing but nice and listened to my problem. Bill said he would send his employees over to my house as soon as possible. His employee, Patrick, was in touch with me in a few days where we made an appointment to have it fixed. Omar and Edison came and repaired my very steep roof. They fixed the flashing around the chimney and secured the shingles where the nails had popped. They matched the shingles perfectly and cleaned up everything. I spoke with Annalisa after they left and was impressed with the office's professionalism. Bill has a wonderful company, who I will be recommending to everyone I know, as well as using them in the future for myself.

We contacted Home Pro to replace an old rotting front porch. Joe quoted us a reasonable price on a composite front porch. We could not be happier with it. His crew arrived every morning on time, worked hard and cleaned up the site everyday. By the time they were finished, they didn’t leave behind any debris or nails. They worked very quickly and we were enjoying our new porch in no time. Joe was very good about keeping us updated on the work schedules. We would use this company again on future home improvement projects.

Home Pro replaced our roof and siding several years ago. Joe took my wife and I around the area to look at what the actual roof and siding looked like at homes they had worked on and gave us a very competitive price. They were very professional in installing the new roof and siding. They came on schedule, kept a very clean work area, worked all day and completed the job on schedule. We were very pleased with the entire process. A year later, the front glass door they installed got caught in a gust of wind and some of the framing bent. I called Joe and he sent someone over the next day and repaired it free of charge. Last week, a piece of facia from the roof blew off in the severe winds we had. I stopped by their office yesterday. Joe had a crew at my house at 9 am this morning and replaced it for free. I can't say enough about Home Pro. They are great people with a great product and they stand by their product 100%. This company is the real deal! They give you accurate and fair estimates and stick to them. Their work is exceptional, their crews do the work quickly and quality and cleanup when done as though they were not even there. I have used Home Pro on two houses already for roofing, siding and windows and have only been 100% satisfied everytime. My recent house we are in sprung a bad roof leak, called them and within few hours they were at my house diagnosing and doing the repair, and would not charge me! Even though this was not a house they ever worked on! They appreciated my past work they had done for me.

We have used Home Pro on two occasions. We had a large section of roofing come off of our home last year during high winds. I received a call back from Bill right away. His team was at my house the following day and did a top notch job. Fast forward and we had a section of fascia come off during another wind storm. Not only did they come in a timely fashion, they worked in the rain to get it done. What separates Home Pro from many other contractors is no job is too big or too small. They won't turn down a "small" job just because the big job pays more. There is nothing worse than a contractor who feels your phone call isn't worth their time. Because of this they will be the first guys I call when it is time for a new roof or siding.

I had my roof done a few years ago by another company who failed to complete the job regarding a new roof boot replacement. My friend had her roof completely redone and was extremely satisfied with the customer service and new roof. I asked her who she had used, and I contacted them. They replaced the roof boot, some shingles, fixed the pipes, and cleared the roof of debris free of charge. They were most courteous and super knowledgeable. They did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend Home Pro Exteriors to anyone!

We had several estimates and Home Pro Exteriors provided the best value and was easy to work with. Very satisfied with workmanship and the foreman was terrific. The roof system is top-notch and we're pleased to be prepared for winter now! Shrubs were well-protected and workers were careful of property. Their office is well run also; good communications.

We had our roof replaced by HomePro. Everyone we talked to was nice and super knowledgeable. The team that replaced the roof worked very efficiently. They totally cleaned up afterwards. The whole thing was done in 2 days. Highly recommend.

We had some tiles come off our roof after heavy winds. Bill was so responsive, communicated by phone and text. Changed his guys around when unexpected rain was about to hit and got the hole in our roof covered up and everything protected in our attic. We plan on using Home Pro Exteriors for a complete new roof this spring. Highly recommend

I forgot to post the above roof and have since had our roof replaced by Home Pro. They were so efficient and streamlined in how they setup and got to work. The quality of their work was great. Each worker was performing their task with great care and knowledge. The job was supervised and watched carefully. There was attention to detail protecting homes (row of townhouses). Every evening the area around was inspected and left clean and when the job was finished they triple checked the area with magnets for any loose nails. And they did all this in 90 degree days. I would highly recommend this company.

This is the third major project that we have had done by Home Pro Exteriors. A few years ago, they did windows and then siding for our home. (See my review for those projects below.) This time it was a new roof. Steve came out to give us an estimate and offered us a couple of options, since the necessary repair was confined to about half the roof. However, since we have solar panels on the roof, we figured if we were going to take them off and then we might as well do the whole roof since if it was going bad in one section, it would probably go bad in the unreplaced section sooner rather than later. There was absolutely no pressure from Home Pro. They were very flexible with their scheduling and even were able to accommodate the new date when the solar energy company moved the panel removal date (to an earlier date), Home Pro came out the next day and finished in one day. The crew was great – respectful and very hard working. Communication was consistent, very responsive and they delivered on every promise. I would recommend them to anyone seeking siding, windows, or roof replacement. Still rate them five stars!

We called Home Pro and a few other contractors to replace our siding and 12 windows. The products offered by all made the choice difficult, but Home Pro's windows and siding choices gave them the edge. Their representative Dan helped to move us further towards choosing them with his enthusiasm and knowledge of the product line and the process and owner Joe sealed the deal with a follow-up call to answer some additional questions. Our windows were all installed in one day by a crew that worked at a very deliberate yet non-intrusive pace with a complete clean-up at the end. Of course, COVID impacted our siding schedule due to some supply issues, but Home Pro kept us up to date as the status changed. Once the product came in and was delivered, the team led by Fausto got to work and even in some of the coldest weather we have dealt with, did a wonderful job with the installation. At the end, Joe the owner came out and walked the property with us to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the job and even stated that once all the snow melts if we find any scraps or pieces that were not cleaned up, to call him right away and he will send someone out to clean it up. We are so happy with the way our house looks and very happy we choose Home Pro Exteriors.

A windstorm took our roof and we struggled with our insurance company who were slow to respond. However, I called Home Pro and explained the situation. Kevin came the very next day. They initially said they would not be able to install the new roof till tge following week but once Kevin seen the water damage inside and reported it to Bill, they just changed their schedule around. We were expecting lots of rain and i was a nervous wreck. But Bill intervened with the insurance company, worked hard to get the permit and had tge roof installed before the rain. They saved my home from further damage. They explained the entire process, reassured me, and worked with a difficult insurance company. Best of all per Bill, they have married my roof so that if we have any issues they will repair! Loved Patrick and Pauline too. The entire team was just awesome. Thank you Home Pro of Middletown!
1/25: This is my second experience with this wonderful company. Once again Bill and his wife were absolutely incredible. Work was done fast and efficiently. The gentleman who did the work were so respectful and professional. They were able to answer questions and left the work area completely clean. I will always use this company on any home I own. I know I can thoroughly count on Home Pro Exteriors.
