Mid December the water heater failed and emptied all 40 gallons throughout my slab home. This unfortunate situation is what led me to working with ServiceMaster by Teton and Rob Murphy. I can say that it was a pleasure working with Rob throughout this challenging situation. He is very personable, conscientious and listened to all my concerns and explained the step-by-step process. Also, he was always available via text and always was prompt to address the matter. Thanks again Rob!
This company is working on the house next door which was lost to a fire a few months ago. Not once, but twice now, one of their trucks has pulled up directly under a tree in our front yard hitting the tree limbs. The first time the broke off a small limb, this time my neighbor said they backed into it, unfortunately its just out of view of our cameras. The first time it happened my husband went outside and spoke to them, explained to them that this tree is very important to him (its the last tree left that his mom planted), but thats besides the point. They apologized and offered to throw the limb in the dumpster in the driveway. Then today my neighbor watched as they pulled up and back up into the tree. Why. Why do you need to park under a tree in front of our house, not in front of the house you are working on, or better yet in front of or pull into the driveway which is holding a dumpster anyway. My neighbor went over and addressd it with the employees there today and the lady tried to play it off like nothing happened today, just said yeah we already addressed it with the last employee. Please tell your employees to be more respectful of their surroundings. Very unprofessional. I'd be glad to post photos/video but Im not seeing that option.
This was an amazing experience with the ladies who packed out my house. They were so professional and was great at their jobs. It was so unbelievable to see all that they do and in such good timing. I’ve never seen this done before. I will definitely recommend them to others.

Paul Glass and his team did a super job on bringing my house back from catastrophic damage of having a tree come down and through part of my house. Maria and Evin came to my house the day my water pipe broke and got all the water cleaned up and flooring removed that night staying late to finish the job. Then removed all the wet walls in the basement did a great job with tear out and drying out thanks!

In the spring we started having water leaking into our bathroom through the ceiling without warning, we had a toddler in the house, and it was a mess. We had another company come and drag their feet making the problem only worse. Our insurance agent suggested ServiceMaster to us. If insurance didn't give us a few roads bumps, what ServiceMaster did do was quick and good quality work. My neighbor who is also a contractor was very impressed with the roofing team. Paul, the contractor was always quick to answer any questions we had and reassuring where as the initial company we almost went with was not. They kept us updated every step of the way with what was happening and what was going to being happening. I wanted to wait to do a review to see how the work lasted over the winter months and they did indeed do an excellent job. Big thank you for working with us and reassuring us every step of the way we were in good hands. A lot of companies take advantage of younger home owners, with ServiceMaster we were in good hands.

After water damage to both levels of my home, my insurance company connected me to Service Master. I ever a company steps up to make a horrible situation better, it is Service Master Tekton! Paul Glass was the Project Manager. He made sure I had the best crews for my specific problem and they all communicated with me every step of the way, explaining the process and listening to my questions. Mitch and Kolby Walker finished the demo and did a beautiful job of putting my home back together. They are quality craftsmen, with such varied skills. I don’t want to forget the intial team that completed the remediation. They were top knotch as well. None of this is fun but whoa, how much worse it could have been if Paul hadn’t run a well trained and organized group of men and women for each phase of the work. I will be forever grateful.
This crew has been amazing!! They were efficient, friendly, and handled all my belongings from my fire with professionalism, and courtesy.

Subject: Unprofessional Experience with ServiceMaster and Contractor
I recently had a small fire at my home and reached out to ServiceMaster for help. Initially, I was assigned a general contractor (GC), but later, I was switched to a different GC named Paul. After meeting with him, he informed me that I needed to hand over my entire insurance check to get started on the work. This was a red flag for me, as no legitimate contractor asks for full payment upfront.
When I voiced my concern and said I wasn't comfortable working in that manner, the process slowed down significantly. I had hoped to start with a few smaller jobs to test the waters, but instead of simply telling me they weren't interested, I had two appointments canceled last minute.
While I understand they may have preferred a more comprehensive approach to the project, the communication and handling of the situation were very unprofessional. In reviewing their bids and the insurance payout, I noticed there was extra money they seemed to want to pocket, which only further raised my suspicions.
Overall, my experience with ServiceMaster was disappointing, and I would caution anyone considering working with them to be vigilant and cautious.
The supervisor of my bathroom project was attentive, accessable and thorough throughout the process. There were no hidden costs, and the information provided was up front. The workers arrived and completed the work even during times no one was home. Any issues with the work was addressed, and any complications the workers had were advised to me and mitigated. I would recommend and use this service again in the future.

We had damaged done to our entire upstairs bathroom and kitchen ceiling. Our experience with Rob from start to finish was excellent. Having to file any claim is very nerve racking when an issue arrives at your home. Then the task of finding someone you can trust to help you through the process is very intimidating also. However, I was very fortunate to have been assigned Esdon Boyd as the project manager. Esdon walked me through every step of the entire process and was there when I had any questions. He made the process less intimidating and made me feel confident in the entire process from beginning to the very end! I would highly recommend him and servicemaster to help anyone who finds themselves needing these services. I was very appreciative of the kindness and help that was given to me. It all started with a wet spot on my son’s ceiling. Turns out we had hail damage and needed the roof replaced along with gutters, facia, and two garage doors. Paul glass took care of all aspects of the project in an efficient and timely manner. Very pleased with his attention to detail.
The demo crew came in hot on a mission to get our space safe for us after having sewage damage. They were there within 2hrs of 1st contact. Paul Glass kept us informed of the status of our claim while working with the ins Co. Mitch and Kolbey rocked the renovations by going above and beyond what we expected! All around experience was great, we felt important, heard, and cared for. These situations are usually super stressful, but they helped to eliminate that part for us. Paul Glass is the best project manager you could ask for. He and his crew, including his right hand man John Hall & contents manager Jess Townley and subcontractors, including my personal electrician, completely restored our home after a major housefire that gutted our home and destroyed our attached garage. Paul is everything a project manager should be. Professional, knowledgeable, honest integrity, done right on time and on budget. He came on board and treated us with kindness and respect, was always there to answer questions, and listen to our preferences and concerns. Very hands on often working alongside his crew.
He kept us informed of progress every step of the way and had us moved back into our house 4 months after they started. Something that 3 other companies and 4 other project managers couldn't seem to pull off or care to complete. I highly recommend him and would hire him again in a heartbeat. I wish I had known about him from the beginning.
Service Master is a company that you can have confidence in. From the first time they came to address the problem to all the way to completion, their work was top notch. The mitigation team took care of the tear out and was very couteous, considerate, and polite. The work was done very well. Each team went above and beyond making sure we were happy with the job. When Esdon Boyd, my project manager, came for the final walk through and sign off, he made sure were happy with even the smallest details. I highly recommend Service Master and especially Esdon Boyd as your PM.
My dad's house had a water heater leak and caused damage to the whole back of his house. His insurance company introduce us to Service Master by Tekton to fix the damage the water caused. The project manager that guided us thru the repairs was Paul Glass. Paul kept us up to date with every phase of the project. This was a big project, it included replacing floors, gutting the whole kitchen and making the necessary repairs. Before the project began, my father passed and I was put in charge of his house and getting the project finished. Paul was great to work with. I redesigned the kitchen and he gave me plans to choose from. I picked the color of the cabinets, the color of the walls, the type of sink, the type and color of the floors and the type and color of the counter tops. Whenever I had a question, all I had to do was call Paul. He got back to me very quickly. At the end of the project, we were very happy with the work performed by Service Master. Especially, definitely pleased with Paul Glass and his crew thru the whole project.
I know my father would of been pleased with the finished project. We sold the house this past September. I can tell you the appraised value with the water damages and after all the repairs were completed was over a $50,000 difference.

We had the best experience working with Paul Glass and his team at ServiceMaster. We are first time homeowners and when a car ran into our garage we weren’t really sure what to do. Enter Paul Glass- he met with us and talked us through the entire process before beginning our project. One word I can use to describe this entire experience is EASY. Paul took care of everything. He scheduled the lead abatement, reconstruction, painting, garage door install, and gave us honest and accurate advice for purchasing new windows. Paul and his team showed up exactly when they said they would and were incredibly reliable. He was available to us night and day for questions and he kept us informed throughout the whole project. The garage turned out even better than we imagined! Paul even returned after the project was complete to help us reattach our string lights and install our security light, completely free of charge. From start to finish, the repair process went extremely smoothly. Our project manager , Paul Glass, very clearly explained the process and all options for how the repairs would be completed. He regularly communicated with us to allow us to choose what materials and products would be used in the repairs, and what repairs would be done. Once the repairs were completed, he explained the final costs and gave us very clear paperwork showing all costs and warranties for the work that was done. A flooded basement is never how someone wants to start the new year. However the Service master by tekton team did a phenomenal job from demo to the rebuild. After Jessica’s team handled the pack out we were turned over to Paul Glass as our project manager and we are so thankful she did. Paul handled the rebuild from start to finish, treated us like family, has the utmost integrity / professionalism, and made a very stressful time in our lives a lot easier. Our family experienced a small fire damaging an outside corner of our house an into a bedroom, but the smoke affected five rooms. This company came right out and boarded up the outside damage until restoration could begin, then within the week a cleaning crew came and not only cleaned the walls and ceiling but every item that was exposed to smoke. A laundry company picked up our clothes from closets and cleaned and stored them until we were ready to get them back. Our project manager explained everything in detail to what would be done and when on a regular basis. From the owner of the company to the project manager to the cleaners, carpenters and painters we couldn't have had a better experience for what was a pretty scary situation! I would give them a 10 if I could! We recently had our basement renovated after the second time it had flooded, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results as well as the handling of our project. We had a horrible experience with a competitor of theirs the first time and quite frankly I had PTSD from it. The first time took almost 2 years from start to finish. From flood, pack out to finish, this time took just under 6 months (happened over the holiday season). The project exceeded our expectations. The standout feature of the entire process was the project manager, Esdon Boyd who was truly exceptional. Valerie & Jessica were wonderful too during the mitigation & reno. They were all so kind and empathetic to my situation since it had only been a little over a year after the first flood project was completed.
From the very first meeting, the project manager demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. Esdon took the time to listen to my concerns because of the first go around from their competitor, provided valuable insights, and made sure we were comfortable with every aspect of the renovation plan/schedule. His attention to detail and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He made sure his team corrected all the tacky/shoddy work from their competitor.
One of the most impressive aspects was how efficiently our project was managed. My Project Manager, was the best. Esdon Boyd was assigned to me and I am so grateful. He did what he said he'd do. If we had an appointment, he was ALWAYS on time. He was available by phone, text and email and always answered back in a timely manner. Esdon assigned me a "work crew" who were outstanding. Very polite, cleaned up after themselves, did amazing work and dealt with my barking chihuahua for 3 days. I can't say enough about Service Master and Esdon Boyd. When I had damage to my roof from a tree limb falling on it, ServiceMasters sent someone out right away to place a tarp over the large hole in my roof to prevent in further water damage. The team from ServiceMasters helped every step of the way from Anthony Fleischauer who worked with my insurance to Paul Glass the Project Manager who coordinated all of the repairs and explained everything that would be done in great detail. The Team at ServiceMaster by Tekton did a fantastic job with our bathroom remodel. Paul Glass went way above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that all of the products were correct and that the craftsmanship was at its highest level. This is the second time I have worked with this group of professionals. The first time was for a full-house renovation after a water disaster, the result of a broken pipe. I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of working with Service Master restoration, due to a waterline break inside my home. When I placed the call, Matt, the general manager, and his crew were at my front door within about 10 minutes. He met with my insurance adjuster. Then I was told that there would be a project manager, his name was Esdon and he would take real good care of me.
They came in, assess the damage and immediately started putting fans and dehumidifiers throughout my home. I had damage to my living room, kitchen and my guest bedroom. The crew would come every day and assess the dampness. These giant fans, there was about a dozen of them ran day and night for over a week. Once all the wood was completely dried out, demolition began.
My bottom kitchen cabinets all had to be pulled out. The floor in the living room was ruined. My guest bedroom had to be painted and the carpet had to be removed. Much of my baseboards had to be replaced. It seemed to me like the more they tore apart the more that had to be tore apart. Let me just say that when I bought this house about eight months before this happened, I had it all painted before I moved in, and other than that I thought everything was perfect.
Oh, what a mess. All the cabinets had to be emptied. Had to repack everything up and move it out of here so the guys could do their work. Cutting out walls and the dust was everywhere. I must say Esdon and his crew were absolutely wonderful. They kept assuring me that it would only be a few more days and my house will be back to normal.
Esdon and his crew were great to work with. I wanted to pick my own flooring and they had no problem with that as long as I paid the difference in the price. Esdon made sure to match my paint colors. There was a couple of little miscommunications along the way, But nothing that couldn’t be straightened out within minutes.
Matt would check in from time to time just to make sure everything was going according to plan. I was extremely happy with my house once it was put back together. They even brought in a crew of girls to clean my house once the work was complete. I would definitely recommend this company.
From the beginning of the project, everyone worked hard to get it done. Paul Glass was my project manager and he went above and beyond. His reconstruction crew, Mitch and Colby were the best too.

If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. In 2019 I had a previous experience with ServiceMaster by Tekton that wasn’t anything like the experience I had this go around. The project manager that was assigned to me was clueless and did extremely poor work. During Covid, my tile floor started to crack and shift because it wasn’t level and there was something wrong with the new tub they installed. But, there wasn’t much I could do because people weren’t working. I ended up contacting them again to see if they could come look at the issues because it was to the point that I didn’t think the flooring was going to last much longer. They sent someone out to look at it and they were shocked by the work that was done and they couldn’t believe it was their company that was responsible for it. They informed me that the project manager that was assigned to me in 2019 was no longer with their company and that my warranty had expired. But when they seen the poor quality of the work that was done, they promised to make it right and did they ever. Paul Glass ended up being my project manager and he is not only a man of his word but he is hands down the best of best! He went above and beyond to make it right. I would highly recommend him and this company to anyone and everyone. He is the most proactive contractor I have ever worked with. He gave me a date of when the project would be completed and not only was is done on time, but they came across other issue that they fixed. I had another plumbing emergency that happen while they were working on the house and they happily helped with as well. If you call Paul, he answers. If you send him a text, he replies right back. I have NEVER came across a contractor who makes you feel as important as he made my family and I feel. He would let me know daily what was going to be taking place while I was at work and made me feel good about letting people work on my home while no one was there. All I can say is, what a completely different experience. The plumbing and flooring company they used were top of they line and did beautiful work. I can’t say thank you enough to Paul and his team! That is what you call top of the line customer service. I will be recommending you and the company to everyone. Thank you again Paul Glass and the whole ServiceMaster team. We will be using you again for any future restoration and renovations that we may need.

They were great the whole way through. One thing that really stands out is different people for each faze. Lot of companies make there employees do multiple jobs rather than one person who specializes. Can’t remember everyone’s name but Mitch and his son were great and worked with our schedule which isn’t easy when you do shift work. Paul finalized everything and my and my wife shocked at how smoothly everything went.
So my house burnt down back in October I hired service masters to redo my house and I couldn’t be happier… Paul Glass my contractor is a strait up guy any time there was a problem he corrected it. He also used a lot of top brand stuff in my house .. I would highly recommend them for your needs and make sure you ask for him . Thank you much for the amazing job done on my house it looks amazing.
We recently had a basement flood, and Servicemaster did an amazing job during the entire repair process. Esdon was our project manager, and he was quick to respond to any questions, patient with our choices of materials, and very polite and personable to interact with. He made sure all work was completed to our satisfaction, and the contractor completing the work did a great job.

Honestly, loved working with these guys. I have been in real estate and remodeling for decades and they knew their stuff. Paul (Glass) was all around great to work with, a pro. I really have nothing bad to post, but if I did, I would give them the chance to fix my issue first because I know they would. Highly recommend.

Where do I begin? Wow…the response times and work done was IMPECCABLE. They were on it from the start, very prompt. Paul was my project manager and he didn’t disappoint. I knew what was happening every step of the way. They even got done ahead of schedule.
The communication was top tier and they made things happen like they promised. Highly recommend them! You can’t go wrong.
Our fire was in 2019. I have put off this review because my fiance has been in legal dispute. This company has charged us for work they did not complete.
A month after the fire, they claimed our basement flooded which we had not had problems with before. When we got to the house after work, everything had already been gutted in the basement.
Here are our grievances and some photos.
1. The fire occurred at the stove. The tile over the stove was never cleaned. See photo. At one time my fiance stopped home and the cleaning crew were just laying on the floor talking. They said they were waiting for a supervisor to look over what might need to be cleaned. My fiance specifically pointed this out. Itemized costs for EVERY item cleaned shows we were charged.
2. Soot on window frames were never cleaned and painted over. Other frames and trim in the same room were cleaned and painted leaving us with mismatched trim. Again, charged for this.
3. Paint work is not well done. See photo. 3 years before the fire, we spent thousands on professional painting and now it's poorly done.
4. The crew who packed up our house never finished two rooms. We finished packing it the night before the movers arrived.
5. The move in crew tossed a box and took out a chunk of a corner of wall. I was at the house waiting for the dry cleaners to bring our stuff and witnessed this.
6. Two of our 4 beds were "put together" without any hardware.
6. Nothing is labeled correctly. Boxes are left in all the wrong rooms. Kitchen items were packed with items from our master bedroom.
7. Far too much stuff was returned broken without any acknowledgement. Some items were glues back together but still came apart. It's crazy. Other items were never returned at all. The company puts together a list of what is salvageable and what is not. Items aren't on either list. Stolen? Forgotten? They broke our desk hutch and weren't going to mention it. We had to seek it out, though in their favor they did pay for replacement of that item.
8. For our basement flood, all flooring had to be replaced, all new trim was put up, and all walls needed to be painted. The new floors were installed before painting was done. The painter(s) dripped paint all over the new flooring. I went through with a razor blade to try to clean up the drips but the seams still have globs of paint.
And as you can see in a photo, one bathroom wall was painted over wet and quickly crumbled.
9. After the cleaning crew charged us to clean every single item, the contractor then comes in to dry wall the fire damaged areas. The entire main floor of the house was covered in dry wall dust at move in. The contractor told me I had a lot of cleaning to do.
10. The beautiful oak trim was never replaced in our kitchen where tile floor meets carpet leaving chipped and scuffed flooring from where they ripped up the wood trim.
All in all, the people were friendly until our disputes that work was not completed. At that point we were told the contractor on our job had been fired. But that doesn't solve the issue that they want payment for work they didn't do.
This company is the MOST HORRIBLE to do business with. It's been over 11 months and still not completed. They never show up to do ANYTHING when they say they will. My place is a mess!! I now have extra damage they've done. They have walked all over my carpets and never put plastic down, I have chalk dust from the front door to the back, upstairs and down that has never been cleaned up. When I complained of my carpets being walked on I was told they'd come out at the end and clean my carpets. I don't walk on my carpet with my shoes on!!!They want me to pay and nothing is complete. One person mostly at a time. The most is 2 people and for a couple hours. It's been over 4 months and not one person has shown up to do anything. I'm totally frustrated with these people. They're totally unreliable and incompetent. They don't call when not showing up. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE OF REMODELING I'VE EVER SEEN AND HAD TO EXPERIENCE!!!!!!
