Preston was wonderful. He quoted the job at a fair price (better than others I contacted). They showed up as promised and did a quick and efficient repair. They left the yard looking spic and span. I would recommend them highly and will use them again if needed.

It all started with woodpecker damage on my home that, once we saw the extent of the damage, knew it needed to be fixed sooner than later. Out of all the placed we called during business hours Sentinel was the only company where a live person picked up and I didn't have to leave a message with a machine. I not only had them out to fix my woodpecker damage within a few days, but damaged soffit and fascia from carpenter bees as well. Preston and his team of workers have been nothing but prompt and fantastic with communication and their work. So much so that I also had them replace my roof as I knew it needed to be done and no one could beat his price. Eventually I'll need some more work done to the outside of my home and absolutely plan on using them again in the future!

We recently had some siding repaired and the entire house painted by Sentinel and couldn't be happier with the outcome and the experience. Preston and his team does excellent work and will absolutely use them again in the future. I was kept up to date on the status of the project and it was done quickly.

Sentinel exteriors patched our siding, pressure washed the exterior of the house, and replaced our back door prior to listing our house. The siding and pressure washing came out great, but the back door did not. The estimate said the trim would be painted and it obviously was not. In fact, I assumed new trim would be installed instead of recycling the trim that was damaged in the process of replacing the door. The doorknob was also installed backward (not sure how that even happens). We were on a tight timeline so I ended up fixing it myself (used tons of wood filler, painted the trim to make it look presentable, and installed the doorknob correctly). Would recommend this company for siding work and pressure washing, but NOT replacing doors.

I used them to do a full siding job and new gutters. There were some struggles to say the least... I was quoted the job will take roughly one week ended up taking over a month and I had to say something to the superintendent for them to get all of the nails out of my driveway they seem to think it was OK to pile up and leave instead of cleaning up and putting them in the dumpster that was 5 feet away. The team they sent out seem to only work about 4 to 5 hours a day, they covered over my dryer vent and both of my bathroom vents when installing the new siding so those were return traps, one entire side of my house they installed so poorly the siding was wavy and they had to come back and take it down and reinstall. They installed siding incorrectly around my outdoor electrical boxes, so I was unable to mount my new outdoor lights receptacles, etc. Yet another return trip. The only good experience were whoever the subcontractor is that they used to do the gutters that went up with no problems. I understand there are struggles finding good employees. The great thing about Sentential is at the end of the day they came back as many times as necessary to get things right and the owner offered me an extended warranty on the work for all the frustration.

We had storm damage which created a leak in our roof. We had the Sentinel team come out and save the day. Not only did they help with replacing our roof they also helped guide us through the entire process. When the roof was complete they were very through in cleaning around the house. They even cleaned our pool and made sure there were no nails!!! I highly recommend them.

Sentinel painted and did light repair to the exterior of our house. They got the job done on the agreed timeline and budget, were as unobtrusive as possible, and it looks great. What more could a guy ask for?

Sentinel redid the siding on most of my house earlier this year. When the house originally was built, it was not code to have OSB sheathing and house wrap before putting the siding down.

Sentinel worked with me to create a plan that met my budget but would be done completely up to todays code. Once work began, there were a few issues found with not having OSB sheathing (nails through wires and pipes) and Sentinel worked with me to give me enough time to fix the issues before closing the walls back up. The nail through the wire was a major fire hazard and I’m so blessed that Sentinel found the issue and worked with me to fix it.

The entire job from start to finish took two weeks and only took that long because it rained for most of the two weeks. Their timeline was perfect and the end result was beautiful.

I was extremely pleased with the final product, and definitely appreciated the attention to fine details. It has been raining so much this year without a single issue. I know that the work Sentinel has done will last for years to come.

Preston and his crew did a great job with the installation of adding a door to my basement office. With the work, they needed to install some sheetrock along with some siding to the house. You can’t even tell where they cut into the house from the inside or outside. The door Preston selected for us is amazing. Would recommend them to anyone needing house repairs or installations. Side note, their clean-up work was also very impressive, they left the house as it looked before they started the repairs.

Had a great experience with this company. They missed my appointment time and made up for it tremendously by coming out instantly once they realized they missed the appointment. The customer service was 10/10 in comparison to other companies i've worked with in the past.

They gave me several quotes on the work needed, as well as worked with me on pricing. After the astounding customer service I received I hired them to repair my chimney siding. They came out in the early morning and were done replacing all my chimney siding with new Hardie siding with Tyvek wrap, caulked and painted the entire thing by dusk on the same day.

I used sentinel to reside my home. This is an old house built in 1902. Some repairs had been done over the years but it left the house with different styles of wood siding. Also because of the age of the home most of the wood was in very poor condition. This company responded immediately when I asked for an estimate. Dimitri came out and did a thorough walk around and gave me an estimate not only for this siding but suggested putting in gutters. There was no pressure put on me to do so but just a suggestion. I had actually already known it needed gutters but was thinking I might put it off. I had several companies come out and give estimates and this was not the cheapest estimate but I have had a lot of contractors come out and do a lot of work on my homes and I have found that the cheapest is generally not the best. And on a very important projects such as siding I wanted to know I had the best company doing the work not the cheapest. I also felt because Dimitri had such a good eye for the needs of this project that it would be done thoroughly and my home would be protected for life. But their pricing was very reasonable for the extent of the work that had to be done. I had others to come out and give me estimates but they did not really seem to understand the house needs or the project. This being an old house really took a special eye to see all of the damage and the extent of work that needed to be done. Dimitri even noticed that flashing was missing around the windows even before he took the wood siding off. No one else had even mentioned that. Throughout the whole project Dimitri was on time. He was there early in the morning and let me know exactly what was going to be going on. I never had to run up behind him as I have many other contractors since I have had a lot of work done on this very old house. I was kept abreast of every single thing even when part of the gutters were on backorder during covid. I never had to worry about whether the work was going to get completed Dimitri kept in contact with me at all times generally coming by first thing every morning to touch base and check on the work that was done. Even to the cleanup at the end Dimitri made sure the nails got picked up. All the work was done quickly as was contracted and I could not be more pleased! All of the work from the demolition to the reciding to the painting to the gutters was all done with respect of the property, timely and as contracted! I was pleased with the pricing and the results! As a result of all of this work I had my house reappraised and it now reappraises as the most expensive house on the street! And that's pretty exceptional as it is the oldest house! I am attaching a few pictures because this remodel was truly epic and done seamlessly,! I would recommend this company to anyone without any hesitation!!!

I called Sentinel, in a slight panic, after heavy winds blew the gutter downspouts completely off of my house. Preston had Dante’ come out to assess the damage that same day. My roof also sustained quite a bit of wind damage including sections of shingles that had blown off. He put a tarp on the roof to ensure I did not develop any leaks into the interior of my home. I ended up filing an insurance claim due to the extent of damage. Preston was kind enough to come out and speak with the appraiser on my behalf. He was able to get me on the schedule to replace the roof and repair my gutters within days. His work crews were always punctual and polite. My new roof is beautiful and Preston truly made this a seamless process. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with, he cares about customer satisfaction and maintaining a high quality standard of workmanship. I will definitely use Sentinel in the future and I would recommend them 100%

Imagine the horror when we returned from a nice family vacation up north, to our home in Alpharetta Georgia, and turned on the kitchen lights, only to discover big round brown water marks on our ceiling!
Yikes, now what? We began by calling our home insurance agent who suggested we get at least three roofing companies come out and take a look.
The first firm came by within a day, and within 30 minutes said “you need a complete new roof” I pointed out, “you haven’t even gone up on the roof or even in the attic, how can you tell” he laughed and said, “ we see this all the time and we will get back to you with an estimate.”
To this day we never heard back.
The second firm was Sentinel Exteriors, represented by David B. David not only examined the water spots and the attic but spent over an hour going over the entire roof.
He provided many photos of the damaged areas to the roofing shingles, and actual leaks in the roofing sheeting itself.
David provided a written estimate for the needed repairs to the roof and the interior ceilings.
When the third company arrived, they provided an inspection of the roof and their estimate was about the same as the one we had received earlier from Sentinel Exteriors.
We chose Sentinel to do the work, as we were impressed with David’s follow up and communication.
Two days prior to new roof installation day, just as had been discussed, pallets of material arrived at our home, along with a full size dumpster.
The day of the Roof Removal and Replacement had now arrived. Workers arrived at daybreak.
I was impressed with the hard working roofing crew of 8. From the way they covered the ground with tarps, which aided in containing the trash from the old roof, as well as construction materials from the new roof, to the way they place everything into the dumpster, they even swept the yard with magnets to remove any roofing tacks from the ground.
Using compressed air guns the expert crew finished our 2500 square foot roof just as the sun was about to set.
Though out the day David repeatedly checked in with us and stopped by at the end of the day to review the completed work.
On the next day, Preston, the owner of Sentinel Exteriors came by to review the work. He actually assisted the person who was about to haul away the full dumpster.
We chatted about the interior.
A few days later it was now time to address the inside work, first the electricians added the lights, then the painter arrived and 6 coats later the job was FINISHED!
The job is done and we are very pleased with the outcome.
We were fortunate to have located David and Sentinel Exteriors, we were glad that we had decided to entrust this much needed repair work on our home to them.

Sentinel installed a new roof for us. We also upgraded our gutters. The process was very fast and easy. The installation crew was REALLY fast and cleaned up well. The roof looks really great and the black gutters look fantastic on our brick house. The gutter screen system has been great. We live in a wooded lot and get a good bit of debris on the roof but the gutters work great! I used to have to clean my gutters out a few times a year... but not any more!

The team at Sentinel was awesome from the initial sales experience to the installation to the final review. The work done was professional on the roof and it really needed to be done as we had Atlas Chalet singles. In addition they paid particular attention to our extensive landscaping and protecting it.

On installation of the roof it was discovered that the gutters really needed to be upgraded and they made some great suggestions. The installation of gutters and the new sizing of them make the house look great.

Sentinel Exteriors replaced my roof and it is beautiful. The crew arrived early and completed the job in one day. They were so nice. Jesse did a great job listening to what I wanted, answering my questions, and keeping me informed about the procedure and time line. I also had my gutters replaced. The man who did that job went beyond what was required of him. I’m so pleased with everyone I met at Sentinel Exteriors.

Sentinel Exteriors did our complete roof replacement July 17th this year. Everything was done professionally and above my expectations. Jesse was our direct contact throughout the process and took care of everything from start to finish. It was a one day job that a rain storm weather delay made the completion day on the 18th. Excellent professional work, very satisfied with our decision to have Sentinel take care of our family home.

Sentinel Exteriors has done work over the past 2+ years for over (25) of my clients without ever a negative word. So I decide to use them for a roof replacement last week at my home. In addition to installing, they assisted us in choosing the perfect color for our roof. I’m an “attention to detail” person so it’s not hard for me to find flaws in the work of others. Sentinel’s workers did incredible job! They worked very hard and efficiently. The foreman stayed at the job site the entire time, and interacted well with the workers and with us. The entire job was completed and cleaned up in one day. In addition, an employee walked our grounds at sunrise the next morning making sure everything was cleaned up properly and disposed of. Update March 2021:

I had a roof replaced by Sentinel Exteriors at my old house in 2012. So, when the recent storm in Atlanta (the one that left us without power for 3 days in a row) caused a bunch of damage on my roof, I did not look far before calling calling Preston Carter to send someone over to take a look at my roof. I had a most courteous gentleman Jonathan come over to inspect the roof. Jonathan quickly assessed the damage and gave his professional opinion that the roof had significant damage and needed replacement. He was back in 2 days to patch up the damaged areas to prevent water leaking into the attic. There was a bit of a wait to get their professional inspector to come over to take photos of the roof and prepare the insurance claim, but once he arrived, the insurance claim was prepared in no time and submitted to Allstate insurance. The claim was extraordinarily detailed and covered things that a homeowner filing their own claim simply would not think about. Allstate sent their inspector to assess the damage and approved the claim for a full replacement the very next day. Through all this, I did not have to deal with the insurance company at all.

On the day of the installation, the crew arrived bright and early and worked expeditiously and the job was completed to my satisfaction. Everything was left clean and tidy after the job was finished.

Year 2016:

This is a very professional company. They had my roof done within no time. They worked it all out with my insurance company, and I had no hassles at all. When I sold my house years after the new roof was put in, I contacted the owner Preston Carter with some questions my prospective buyer had. Preston answered my phone at 9 Pm at night and promptly addressed my buyer's questions. Certainly give these guys an A for customer service!!!
