Our experience with Seagate was quite pleasant and seamless. Our home consultant Claudia, design consultant Jacquelin, construction manager Scott and accounting department Lisa and April were the perfect dream team. The major selling point was the flexibility in the home plan. The team promptly responded and addressed any questions or concerns. They were patient and informative. You can't go wrong with Seagate.

Absolutely a top notch decision to buy a home from Seagate . From Claudia in the Sales Center to Scott, our Construction manager for orientation, we could not have made a better choice. We had done new construction once in the past and that experience was very good. This experience with Seagate was GREAT !

These people are garbage. They tear down forests that have been here since before the founding of the town in order to build carbon copy stick houses to rent out for the rest of time, slowing squeezing the life out of communities and reducing the overall qualify of life of people slowly and deliberately simply to place themselves into a better position at the cost of other people's lives. No respect for nature, no respect for community.

We recently moved from Illinois to Florida. I would have to say that Claudia made the decision process for our new home very easy. You was very informative and helpful. Jacqueline was great in the interior design process. Brian made managing the build from out of state a non issue. The overall experience was great and low stress. We love our SeaGate home.

Got to love Seagate Homes . Building 2 homes next to me in Wood Clift. I understand that the road will be a mess until done. But having 3 inches of dirt in front of your house to me is a little much. Now that they have completed both homes . One next to me the swale was not working. So the dig it back up. Fix it. Then lay sod again. So now there is mud across the whole front of my driveway. The road looks like I live in a dirt road . On top of that they cut my internet line for the 4th time . Don’t leave your garbage can out to long. Town will give you the orange tag of shame. But this guy gets away with it . Seagate get your act together.

My elderly uncle used SeaGate in Palm Coast to build his custom home in 2017. In Sept. 2024 an entire row of ridgecap shingles blew off his roof during just 45mph wind gusts from a regular storm, not even a hurricane. They are supposed to be rated for 120mph winds. He has moderate to steep roof slope. SeaGate used only 2 nails in each ridgecap shingle, not 4 as required. Now the installation of the entire roof is in question. The SeaGate Warranty is worthless. The shingles are only warranted for 1 year workmanship and there is no warranty at all from the shingle manufacturer included in the warranty documents. SeaGate did not respond to the warranty claim submitted through their website, so my elderly uncle went to their office and they just said to refer to your (worthless) warranty. SeaGate would not disclose what manufacturer's shingle system they installed. SeaGate does not stand behind its workmanship. Shady AF.

Just bought a beautiful SeaGate home and we couldn’t be happier. Any small snags along the way were addressed timely and we couldn’t be more in love with the home design and location. 10/10 recommend SeaGate Homes.

I was hesitant to hire a builder for our family vacation home in Palm Coast, as I've been in construction all my life in north Georgia and Tennessee, and have a contractor's license. But the logistics of trying to build a house 7 hours from home - where I didn't know anyone was just not going to happen. I researched the builders in the area and then I went to several of their homes under construction to see their work and how they maintained their sites. We went with SeaGate and are very pleased. Our home is completed slightly ahead of schedule and there have been no gotcha moments, surprise charges, or disappointments in work quality. Melissa Stuart in the design center has been amazing the whole way, and our construction manager David Franklin has given me a comfort level above what I was expecting. He has been great with communication and keeping it moving from one step to the next. I would definitely recommend SeaGate, and already have to a couple of people. I was surprised to see the recent 1 star reviews. My guess is that with the competition is behind them, I've had that happen to my business reviews. My personal experience has been 5 star all the way.

This is the worst homebuilder. They never answer the phone. We had a new construction built in 2021. After the 1 and 2 year warranties expired our house started falling apart. It is a joke the money we are putting to repair our house in year 3. A joke. River Brigham

DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER. What nightmare of an experience this whole process building my home was. My goodness. At every turn Brad who was our contractor never had any answers for me. He was always conveniently ‘missing in action’ or ‘on vacation’ when I would have issues that needed to be addressed during the home build and prior to closing. So unprofessional, he was constantly gaslighting claiming I was out of line for asking him general questions about MY HOME! I wasn’t allowed to even see my house while it was being built, they claimed that was a new clause in the contract (not the contract I signed) which is outrageous. Just another way for them to hide imperfections and issues hoping you don’t notice and hold them accountable. They do not pay their contractors - thousands of dollars they owe window installers, electrical guys, landscapers, everyone! I was constantly telling them to fix what was on change orders. Closing was a nightmare - no one tells you anything about how utilities are set up, any township regulations for trash, sewer and water. They think ‘I don’t know’ is an acceptable answer. So many ‘office oversights’. Unreal. DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER. FIND SOMEONE WHO IS QUALITY!!!! My biggest regret was trusting them. Do not make the same mistake I did!!

Stand up, do what’s RIGHT, and quality home for the price! We didn’t even build w/ them (due to our own personal issues) went as far as permits- we worked w Melissa design center- she is PHENOMENAL & wants her customers home to look as beautiful as her own, attended ARC meetings w/her & she a person of her word and rep of a company that is REPUTABLE and follow their word. Jacob was excellent & SeaGate is a builder that Palm Coast can be PROUD of! Followed several builders for over 3 yrs before we selected them!!

I am a realtor in Palm Coast and I highly recommend SeaGate home. They are a must see home if you are looking for a new build home.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They don’t care about you as a customer. The contractor manager DR. Doesn’t watch everything being done and shows no care whatsoever if your not happy with the work. I had my master closet shelves that also hang clothes from made out of oak wood . ( I went with the best )
After a year and a half the entire shelf pulled away from the wall ripped itself out of the drywall. I called Seagate and they said your out of warranty and looking at the pictures I sent them , they said it was done correctly. They used mollies which are plastic and the screws make them expand inside the drywall. They said they are not suppose to go into the beam or stud. Are you for real? The corners they cut makes you want to hate your house even more. They planted a tree in the front of my house again one year and a half it never bloomed or grew. So my landscaper wiggled it and it pulled right out of the ground. It never rooted and was dead from day one. Of course they didn’t care when I called . It’s not their responsibility. The tile they put down are ceramic it’s not real tile. They did not grade my landscaping correctly the water from the rain accumulates in the backyard and alongside the house and stays stagger. I can keep going on and on I’m just warning people please it’s your home you want to be happy look around go elsewhere, yeah they may be the cheapest but the old saying goes you pay for what you get do not buy from Seagate. Horrible work horrible customer service, horrible everything .

Anyone who is considering building a new home in or near Flagler County and Palm Coast Florida needs to meet with Seagate Homes. I built a new Seagate home in 2020 that I truly loved, it lived so well and was well constructed. Selling it was very difficult but necessary. Recently I was planning to buy another new Seagate Home when life delivered an unexpected set of circumstances.

Robert Gazzoli and Brandon Jacobs are first class individuals and went above and beyond my expectations to assist me. In today’s environment it’s so nice to experience good people doing good. I will never forget what they did for me.

I’ve been in my home for about a year and a half now and can say Seagate does build a good home and they stand by their product. Brian, my foreman, answered all of my questions and concerns and addressed them in a timely manner. Melissa from design was great, Will did a fantastic job with our plan customizations, the sales manager and closing team were all very helpful during the process. I’ve had small warranty issues that were handled quickly. The only advice I can give is if you’re on the fence about any upgrade, just do it. It’s easier during construction and you’ll still want it later.

Had a new home built by Seagate in 2020, during the walk through before the closing I advised the seagate representative that the driveway appeared to have some type of damage and didn't look right. The representative from seagate responded back and said that it was normal and that it would eventually even out after a while. 2 years have past and the concrete has gotten worse, there's small cracks in some areas and is pitted all over the place. I contacted seagate's warranty department via email and advised them about the problem. After about a week they sent out one of their supervisors who then conducted a 2 minute inspection of the area . The same day seagate sent me an email saying the concrete looked normal and that the small cracks needed to be 3/16 wide in order for it to be covered by the warranty. SeaGate does not back up their word or their work do not purchase a home from them go somewhere else. Once they get your money they forget about you and treat you like garbage. See photos does this look like 2 year old concrete?

Right now is not a good time for new construction with any builder. The builder has no control when there are supply and worker shortages. The demand is too high and the supply is too low. We built our Seagate home in 2012 when building was slow. They worked tiredlessly with us to modify the plan the way we wanted it. We were there daily to see the progres. Seagate was very happy to rectify any issues. The only thing we were unhappy about is they did not do the entire roof hip as we requested. The front is hip but the back is gable. Unfortunatey we didn't catch it during construction. Also we adressed our pool deck floods badly during heavy rain but they wouldn't correct the issue.

RUN, RUN, RUN if you are thinking of building with Seagate Homes. Whatever you are doing, if you are in the market for a builder, take your money and run away as far as you can from Seagate.

We were told on the onset it would be 12/14 mos. to build, as were others, it is now 20 MONTHS INTO THE BUILD, and they are still not finished.

DO NOT, if you don't want an ulcer, have this builder build your home. We procured them to build and signed a contract in November 2020. It is now May 2022 and they are still building. I have an ulcer that isn't getting any better, and under a doctor's care.

These people could care less about you or your home. They have also committed a crime against seniors, since we have paid for the building of our home in its entirety, and they are still b u i l d i n g.

Don't put yourself through the misery. See if you can find a real reputable company to build for you, and check them out thoroughly before hiring them.

Building with this company is the worse thing that you can possibly do, and that has ever happened to us.

I advised you not to do it for your health and your sanity.

We lived in our SeaGate home for 22yrs, and it was the best investment we ever made back in 1997. We had the Marty II built with a few upgrades added, and it took the company less then 3 months to build. My wife and I dealt with Mr. Gazzoli directly back then, as I use to deliver furniture to his model homes from time to time - I worked at Kane Furniture at the time(name changed to Kalin Home Furnishings). Our home survived without any issues through the many Hurricanes in that 22yr time frame. We unfortunately sold our Marty II home in 2019, we have lots of great memories and were married in the back yard after it was built. We have moved out of state, but wanted to let future buyers know - SeaGate Homes - was a great experience while building and after the sale. We will be back Seagate Homes, in another 2+ years or sooner.

Seagate is a great Company & home builder. Thank you for treating my customers so well. They all love their new Seagate Home.

We closed on our new Sea Gate home one year ago today. If you are looking for quality construction with a responsive warranty department, look no further than Sea Gate.

We stopped in at the model home to learn more about Seagate Homes. What a surprise. The model home was beautiful and offered many upgrade options.The craftsmanship was outstanding. You can either choose one of there lots or build on your own lot. The office staff was very professional and helpful. We would recommend Seagate Homes for your next home purchase, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased a new build during the pandemic with them and was incredibly impressed with the customer service, especially from Irene in the sales office; Mariah on the design team and Rob in the field. They answered all questions promptly, fully and honestly. Did not feel like they were trying to constantly "upsale." The floorplan was great, quality work, and they were easy to work with. Very happy with the whole process and the end result. I honestly felt at ease through it all, which is not easy for me naturally and definitely a huge feat for them to accomplish during a home build!

We waited a year to post our review to see how the house faired and how Seagate would handle warranty issues. We were lucky enough to visit the site from land clearing to closing documenting everything and we highly recommend either doing it yourself or having someone do it for you. We found some sub-standard materials being used such as bowed and/or splintered wood studs which we had replaced. We also took pictures of our poured driveway that cracked less than 2 weeks after being poured.

After moving in and in the next few months, we found multiple issues with the electric, plumbing, cabinets, tile, roof vents and air conditioner which were addressed in due time.

In summary, we are happy with our home except for two major items. The a/c company replaced our ductwork twice, replaced the return air box and grill and made multiple adjustments to the air handler but still cannot get it to stop sweating on our finished garage floor. I finally installed a condensate drip pan under the unit which the company wanted $300 to do. I did it considerably cheaper. The second major issue is the driveway cracks and holes. The "acceptable" crack is 1/8" in width. We have two that exceed that but they refuse to correct. They offered to fill the hole with hydraulic cement but admit it won't match. We have a large circular driveway which we take pride in and cracks and/or mismatched concrete is unacceptable for an almost $300K house. Wish we could've added pictures to the post to make my point.

Okay first let’s start off with going to buy a home from them that they didn’t have any Graham to look at. I received an email to go and pick out your colors . I walk into the design studio and Melissa tells me I am there to pick out everything from my cabinet door knobs to the inside color of the walls in the email did not specify I was there to pick out everything and anything I wanted my house to be.
Now mind you this was April 2020 during Covid so we are being rushed and I told everything and anything that we were able to pick out and not pick out. I mentioned I wanted chair rail from the entry door all the way in on both sides of the walls into the dining room Melissa says OK comes to find out chair rail is only in the dining room and to change that they want to charge you $200 just to change it and then the additional money for the extra chair rail. I showed Melissa a garage door that I want it was a garage door that looked three-dimensional she said let me see if we can do it she asked and said yes I come by the house and the wrong garage door is up they can’t do that one but she said they can do so it. I have to settle for a regular garage door. I kept telling them I wanted a slop sink in my garage they’re telling me there’s no room make room I am paying for it they didn’t do it I complained back-and-forth to the point where I said if they offered to buy this back for me I would sell it.The nerve of them to respond a year later offer me what I paid for my lot in 2020 when now the going rate of the lot is higher they offered to buy me out on just what I paid not going value of the market I told him no.I let them finish the house the rooms are small meaning the two spare bedrooms. A TINY garage. They will try to squeeze every penny out of you to make you add on more to the property to extend the garage because the standard garage you’re lucky if a normal size car fits in there for instance I have a Tucson I can just barely walk around the car I have to hold my breath to get past the back or the front. To extend the master bedroom 2 feet out they want $3500 more to extend the building to match the other side of the patio they nickel and dime you . Now that the house built and we’re in it. The master bathroom if you’re going to make a shower with an opening design properly make it where it’s long enough that the shower is not splashing down and going outside on the tile floor outside of the shower it should stay inside the shower but the shower is so small in length and width the water comes out of the shower they don’t tell you that the cabinets underneath the bathroom sink don’t have drawers , they have two cabinets that open on the bottom but no sliding drawers to put your shaver or brush in. They don’t inform you there is no draws I suggest anybody looking to purchase a house take your time don’t stop at one Builder yes Seagate is popular in Palm Coast but they don’t take pride in their work they rush it through to the cheapest contractor, that they can get to come out and do the job thank God I had a good painter. Being I purchased a model that wasn’t built yet they should grandfather the people buying that house that they have never seen but on paper to make changes as they deem up to a certain point so when that first house is built that you’re buying the model you can go look at it and see for yourself what you really want because trust me the Graham is good for two people only. Seagate is only after the buck and that’s all they care about. Water stays on the side of the house on the lawn and I was told that’s normal no it’s not if you have staggered water you should put a drain system underneath to make it flow to the front of the house but they get away with it because they are the builders in Palm Coast we were promised Certain things by the sales person but she is no longer with us and they would not honor her word by mouth or showing a text message from her to me which is sad be careful who you choose to build your house make sure you look at the model of the house you want

The place was crowded, but the sales rep who helped us as soon she could was worth waiting around for. We had driven about 50 minutes to get there so I'm glad. Beautiful house! Nice for plans. So the service to this point was 5-star.

So far my husband and I have bought our land and chose our Seagate home (the captiva model). Our experience with Seagate homes has been very pleasant to date. Cathy has been on the ball when we call or text. We recently did a zoom with Melissa from the design studio ( due to Covid we couldn't go in person) she was wonderful. She helped us finalize our interior from paint to cabinets to flooring, door handles etc. I hope my final review is as positive as this. So far we are very happy with the Seagate family. Since we were out of state, we were hesitant and nervous about buying a home without residing in the area; however, all the staff (Judie, Bill, Elena) made the process easy, comfortable and seamless. We couldn't have been more appreciative of all of their efforts - we never felt rushed throughout the entire process and all of our questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. We are so grateful to have worked with this company and will recommend them to others.

Claudia S. of Seagate Homes in Palm Coast was very helpful during our search for a location to move to in Florida. She provided listings of spec houses and properties that Seagate owned that were available for building. She was readily available and returned calls and emails in a most timely manner. We liked several of the house/floor plans that Seagate was building in this area. Although we really liked the Seagate homes, we found another area in Florida that we liked better and decided to have a home built there. Unfortunately, Seagate is not building in that area and we used another builder. I would highly recommend that you contact Claudia if you are looking for a home in the Palm Coast area.

I've been dealing with Seagate for several years now, planning our retirement home. Judie Quinn has been nothing short of helpful & professional. I have referred several friends who moved to the Palm Coast area to Seagate Homes & are fully satisfied with their home.

We have lived in the home for 1 year and are extremely satisfied. Excellent value for the $. We built the Worthington Ii. Great Floorplan for large family. We upgraded all the lighting. Turned closed pantry to butlers pantry. Put a huge china storage cabinet in the laundry room and added a workshop with ac in the garage which expanded our living space. basically 5 bedroom house if you opt for the office. Storage space is not great.

My experience with Seagate homes was excellent from start to finish. I worked with Brad Bowers in the office and Lou Marino who was the on site project manager. Both were very professional and have great communication skills. We are loving our new home and 1 year later, not a single issue has arose. My wife and I highly recommend Seagate Homes if you`re considering building.

Bought our house just over a year ago. We're having trouble with the HVAC. Getting the run around from the original installer as well as Seagate Warranty dept. Theyre great until they get your $ once you own the house they could care less.
Update-Seagate and Mike Morell o complete y redid our HVaC and made it right. They stood behind their product and i am adjusting to 5 stars . We love our house and the quality is top noych

I looked at a lot of builders before making my decision to go with SeaGate. I can honestly say that it was Claudia Strickland and her genuine friendliness and professionalism that sealed it. We are just at the beginning but so far am Very excited!

Good website. Interesting floor plans. Good information. We visited the sales model and discussed the many options available. Seagate Homes allows customers so many options that we can have them build a home for us exactly like we want it. But their simple entry models are wonderfully laid out with big windows, covered patios, granite counter tops, tile floors where you need it. Even the paint used inside is from Sherwin Williams. We are getting the Willow model. Brad has taught much and helped with many great suggestions. He is at the 13 Park view model. We are excited but it does take a year to build on our lot.

Since the first day, the employees, specially Brad were respectful, courteous and willing to help and answered all our questions. Our house was built to our expectations in a timely manner and high quality. Thank you SeaGate, you have become part of our family.

My husband I are just in the beginning of our home being built. I was in touch with Claudia Strickland for the construction planning stage. She is wonderful. She got a real workout from me with my MANY changes. Then we went to the Design Center and met with Melissa she was really great. Both of these ladies made the experience as easy and fun as it could be. Now all I need is my home.

SeaGate's reps were really quick to get back to me with everything I asked and needed. Customer service is really where they excel - and that's really important when it's your home. Thanks!

My husband and I were contemplating building a home. Claudia Strickland took her valuable time to truly understand what we needed. She gave us tours of homes that were similar to the home we wanted to build. We were early in our journey and unsure of exactly what we needed. She never lost patience with us and gave us a lot of great ideas. I highly recommend Seagate and Claudia.

We had an appointment with Greg at Seagate Homes today Saturday at 4pm. After waiting, we received a text 18 mnts later saying that he was running late, another 20 mnts passed, and several calls so we decided to leave. Extremely disappointed

I had a home built by sea gates last year.they finished 2 months later than they said and there was multiple repairs needed to be done immediately after. All of the visible work was really bad . The paint was horrible , they didn’t cut-in in any of the rooms . Three of the closet doors are damaged or broken . My bathroom sink has a design flaw that they repeatedly told me that was how they do it but every Carpenter I’ve spoke too said it is wrong . My garage has bigger than hairline cracks and even some big holes as well as the driveway. I spoke to my building manager many times and he showed little to no care I think because I’m 24 years old and he is Judging me by my age. It felt like that the whole process . I would never build another home through them let alone recommend them. If you want really bad and careless work than yea there good at that . 10 months after my house was built and I’m still waiting on half of the repairs . They ignore my calls and emails so I really don’t know if the problems will ever be fixed . If I could give negative stars I would.

I was working with Vicky she was very helpful but they did a terrible job grading my lot a lazy person must have did it they put a swale around my hole house and it’s backed pitched so be very careful about using Seagate big builder but they do not take pride in their work they just wanna pump out houses they could’ve fixed the swale around my house before they put the sod down it would’ve been a two hour or three hour job just totally lazy The inside was OK but again be careful of Seagate

Shoddy finishing work; lied to by VP of Sales and Marketing, Brandon, who told us they were with the BBB and they are not, and Construction Manager, DR Birle, who promised the finished work in our Master Bathroom Granite would be completed to our satisfaction and it is not. Seagate refuses to accept responsibility even though we didn't close until August 25, 2017. Model is NOT a fair representation of what YOUR final product will look like. VP and sales woman, Judy, wrote positive reviews on their own company. Tacky! Take your money and RUN LIKE THE WIND!

UPDATE: Well, it's been almost a year now and they could care less about customer satisfaction. If you are reading this, PLEASE believe me that every word above is true. I am still unhappy with the quality of the finished product and they do not care about it. Once they had my money, they didn't care. They offered to pay $250 for a job that will cost way over $4000. Please folks, listen to me.

OWNER'S UPDATE:

When SEAGATE responded (below) they did not tell you, as I did, that we got a fair and reasonable estimate and that $500 wouldn't even begin to handle the problem. It is a major flaw and will not be able to be repaired for less than $4000....unless your sub-contractor is lying to us. No typo and if this was YOUR home, you would feel differently. I still stand by my original review. They have shady practices, as I have shown above and what you see in the model is NOT what you end up with. I swear to God that every word I have said is true. Can they? No. If it were their NEW home they would not look at this issue as "minor."

FOLLOW UP: They are still the shadiest builders in the Palm Coast, St. Augustine area. They will not allow honest feedback on their website, and every word you try to pass on to other, uninformed buyers, is deleted. If your posts are totally negative, they aren't posted. Slime.
