Had Roof installed by them in 2020. Tried for over a year to get in contact with them regarding an area that was not replaced. When the owner finally showed up he told me there would be a charge, even though it was never installed initially. I agreed to proceed and then they never returned my calls. Had to have another company do the repair. The lady who answers the phone is often rude and unprofessional. Would never use them again.

My roof was installed 1 1/2 years ago after Hurricane Zeta. Recently I noticed a water problem to facia & soffit area below flashing. Their worker said nails were used rather than screws so he replaced & calked. Even though my contract said workmanship guaranteed 5 years, I was told by owner the damage was not their problem. I explained
I had lost by spouse after several months illness & felt frustrated not being able to discuss my predicament.

It took a few attempts for Schwander Hutchinson Roofing to fix my leak a few years ago but it was finally done. Since Hurricane Ida, even after 6 months has passed, they cannot bother to give me a repair estimate. They are too busy doing only complete roof replacements. So if you go with them realize that being a current customer will not help you. They do not do customer service well.

Aaron and the team were prompt and professional. The roof was done right the first time and they left my property cleaner than they found it. I would definitely have my roof done by Schwander Hutchinson again...no complaints.

After Hurricane Ida I got 3 estimates for a new roof. Of the the 3 only Aaron T. of SHR got on our roof and did a complete measure and inspection. SHR replace our roof last weekend in about 6 hours. Great job , and we have 2 neighbors who also went with SHR.

Referred to them after the storm in October 2020 by an friend who was in the NOLA roofing business after Katrina. Another friend who has multiple rental properties referred me to them as well. That's two separate folks who have lived here in NOLA all their lives recommending the same company. They where one of the few companies that actually came out and provided me a VERY reasonable estimate to replace my roof. It took a awhile to get the shingles ordered (no fault of theirs) but once they came in, my roof was replaced the next day.

Clean up around the house was excellent. They didnt damage my plants around the house or my rain gutters.

Don has an excellent reputation here in the NOLA area. They do great work and I highly recommend.

The job was done quickly and professionally. While everybody else said recent hurricanes had backed them up by weeks, S-H came out within two weeks; put on the new roof, cleaned up meticulously and used a great shingle product, heavy felt and were in and out in two days. Our roof had a pretty wicked pitch so not an easy job. Would we use them again, you bet. We would highly recommend Schwander-Hutchinson Roofing for your roofing needs.
