I have worked with Vinnie and Mick at SCCS NWI twice now, and they are my go-to guys. They are prompt, professional, straightforward, and on time. My wife and I noticed some mold on our vents so we gave Vinnie a call to do some mold testing and it turned out we had black mold airborne in our house and all over the roof sheathing in our attic. Vinnie and his team responded super quick and took swift action in removing the mold. I really enjoyed working with Vinnie because I felt like he truly cared about my family and I. He was always super responsive and his team was professional in getting the job done fast but also right. The price was also super reasonable compared to a couple other places I looked into. Could not recommend this company enough. Vinnie was open and honest about what we could expect with their services, the best course of action, as well as the charges. We were needing near immediate service for potential mold in our attic and he worked his busy schedule around to accommodate. Overall a great experience.

I was selling a house I own in Valparaiso, Indiana, and an inspector found mold in the attic. I didn’t want to lose the sale. I contacted Vinnie. He responded on a Saturday even though he was out of town. He sent an employee on Sunday to meet me. Vinnie had thre work completed by Wednesday, I can’t say enough good things about this company and their prompt response to my urgent issues. The price was fair and they thoroughly and expertly completed the work and provided me pictures to provide my buyer. If you ever have issues and need mold mitigation, I highly recommend SCCS over other competitors. I did get estimates from other companies that were at a much higher cost and the work couldn’t be completed in a timely fashion.

Had a pretty bad plumbing leak over Memorial Day weekend. Crew was out first thing Tuesday morning to start cleaning up and drying out. Super easy to work with, great communication, and very professional. Explained everything to a tee. Great locally owned company. Hope I don't need their services in the future, but if I do, SSCS is who I'm callin'.

Vinny and his team were outstanding. It was easy to communicate, schedule and overall get the job done. If you live in the northwest Indiana area this should be you number 1 contact for any mold issues.. also this seems like a family business and these are the companies we should be working with if they are competent, and this company is.

I had a tree come down on my house in a major storm, and it was pouring down rain so significant amount of water came into my living room and laundry room. Vinnie and his team were available in less than 24 hours to do moisture readings and develop a plan to open up ceilings and walls where there was moisture, and begin drying out. Within 72 hours we had the walls exposed, carpet removed, and many fans, a few dehumidifiers and air purifiers running non-stop to remove moisture and dry out the walls and attic. Vinnie's team was very responsive, on-site daily to review and take readings, and very helpful including anti-mildew spraying throughout the affected areas. We ran the equipment for 5 full days until pretty much all the affected areas were reading as sufficiently dried out to prevent further damage and mold growth. They stayed in touch for a few days after also to advise me with further mold prevention and protection in case of more rain or moisture problems. All in all they are an Amazing team to work with, very thorough, helpful, and friendly. Definitely recommend reaching out to the team at SCCS NWI any time you have any potential concerns with water damage in your property!

That was easy! Contacted SCCS NWI one day, and they drove 40 miles to do testing for me the next day. A few days later, after having received the test results, we were remedying our issue. Super easy to work with, speedy, thorough, and communicative…I’d absolutely recommend them!

BEST MITIGATION COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!

This past winter my family and I were sick off and on continuously. I had a hunch I needed to get my air quality tested and on top of that I discovered mold speckles in our bedroom bathroom ceiling that were hardly noticeable. We called Vinnie and his team immediately. Within the same day Vinnie got back to me with questions and concerns. The very next day he came out to inspect it himself, did and air quality test in different parts of my home and outside, and told us he found more issues in our crawlspace with a concern for water damage down there. He was inspected my entire house and following that we came up with a great treatment plan. With his amazing response time him and his team came out and treated our entire house, and left two huge HEPA air filtration systems for a period of three days. I cannot thank him and his team enough for their amazing hard work, and AMAZING response time!! Because of him our family can finally feel comfortable and start our healing journey. Seriously use this company if your are in the Northwest Indiana region you will not regret it and WILL notice the work and effort the strive for and achieve immediately. What a great company to work with!

Discovered mold from long-term leak after purchased house. Vinnie and team were really responsive, professional and provided quality work for a good price. Wish I would have used them to inspect vs paying extra for the mold service from the home inspection firm (which that firm missed). Would definitely use them again if any more issues arise.

We had a great experience working with Vinnie to do water damage remediation in our basement. The crew was polite, professional, and efficient.

We discovered water in our basement on Thursday around noon. By the time we left for dinner in Michigan, I had already talked to Vinnie. He called back later that night to clarify a few things. By 9 am Friday morning, they were at the house to begin the cleaning process.Vinnie is very quick with responses. The crew headed by Vinnie’s son is personable and hard working. By noon Tuesday, all mitigation had been completed. They are prompt, professional, and responsible.

Super thrilled with the job done by SCCS. Very professional from the bid process through completion, which happened in very quickly! You can tell Vinny knows his stuff.

SCCS NWI offers the best service in the region! Our water heater leaked into our kitchen under our brand new flooring and Vinnie was knowledgeable and confident about how and what to do. They were able to fit me in to get the drying process started so we didn’t have to tear up the new floors. I can’t say enough good things about SCCS. Would recommend to anyone! 10/10

Our water heater caused some flooding in our finished basement that drenched some of our carpet. We called on a Monday morning and someone was out by 1pm that day and then the crew was out by 2pm to start saving our carpet! So thankful for this company as they saved us from having to replace any padding or carpet!! Highly recommend, as they were very responsive and very great with the high stress situation.
