I am happy with the new roof. These guys completed my roof in just under two days and it looks great. I did recommend Sawtooth Roofing to one of my coworkers that needs his roof replaced. Would definately use them again if I ever have to replace another roof.

The crew was on time every morning. Everyone that we interfaced with were good communicators and provided us with the information we needed. They are a pleasure to do business with.

Gary was able to come out and give us a quote almost immediately and brought samples with him which was fantastic for selecting the right shingles. Several days before our scheduled install, extreme weather was forecasted, Joe communicated changes quickly and professionally on timeline changes. Questions about the process or special concerns were addressed promptly. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend Sawtooth Roofing Company to anyone looking to replace their roof.

This is an excellent roofing company. We realized our 28-year-old roof needed to be replaced and I sought out a number of contractors. Sawtooth did a roof replacement in the neighborhood and we included them to bid the job. The estimate provided by Darrin was complete and he took the time to come back and walk us through what to expect. The experienced crew worked around rain delays and the roof looks great. The cleanup was extremely thorough and the follow-up after the job was the professional thing to do. This is a superb roofing company, and I highly recommend them.

After getting bids from 3 other roofing companies, and finally getting a last minute word of mouth recommendation from a friend, we met Tom with Sawtooth. Loved the transparency, and no-nonsense approach to this company's style. Not fancy, but super high quality. We got a much better estimate with them AND they felt more honest than the other bigger companies. In the end, our roof was done quickly, neatly, timely, and in the dead of winter on the east side of Portland (with a storm approaching!). They did AMAZING work! We've already told others about them and we want to make sure we left a positive review so others know about them, too. You always should get multiple bids, but if you're in a time pinch, just go with Sawtooth!

Sawtooth just re-roofed our house and did absolutely EXQUISITE work with high attention to detail. They cleaned up really well afterwards, too. There was one tiny fix we asked for afterwards and they took care if it without issue. We got three quotes and Sawtooth's quote process was MUCH more simple/straightforward than the other two. Not overly salesy like the others AND it was also the most affordable. We're very happy customers.

I picked Sawtooth out of 6 bids. I needed a full tear off of asphalt shingles plus a layer of cedar shake, repair to a soffit, and two skylights. The crew worked very hard to get it done in 4 days and I'm very happy.

Sawtooth were very professional in bidding a full tear-off and new roof installation, submitting the agreement, timeline and method of payment for carrying out the work. We agreed the price and time frame, weather permitting, (winter time install), and the work was carried out in less than four days leaving the site clean and free of debris. We are very happy with the service and would recommend Sawtooth to other residential owners we know.

We live in an old Victorian house and it was extremely difficult to find any roofing company willing to work on our roof. I saw saw tooth working on a house in sellwood as I was walking by, and I literally chased them down to get their business card

I received an estimate from them and a couple of other businesses and all of the prices were in line, however, I really liked sawtooths proactivity and communication.

They worked on our house very quickly and turned the roof around in probably 3 days? We were amazed! Everybody was professional, friendly, and wonderful.

The bid from Sawtooth Roofing was quite competitive, and the work was performed on-time and efficiently. The quality of the new roof was excellent. Rik Jones and Tom Solan were both on site and oversaw the work. They were knowledgeable and good communicators.

I got several quotes from different contractors and I appreciated the approach from sawtooth the most. No hard sales pitch, just informative conversation about what they can do and what their plan would be for my project. Their pricing was reasonable, and they were willing to work with my odd timeline. The project finished in just a few days without a hitch.

Darrin, at Sawtooth, did a thorough estimate, pricing just fixing a leak or replacing the roof. His team found just right day to replace my roof in the middle of a rainy winter. Very professional operation.

Had a weird tile, cedar shake roof, with double fascia, and all sorts of craziness. Got many quotes and Sawtooth came in as the lowest bid for a solid Owens Corning roof. They worked around the weather and got everything done quickly, and were also able to remove my gutters without damage.

Sawtooth Roofing has my highest recommendation for roof replacement. Everyone was courteous and professional, and the roof installers were amazing. They installed my composite roof during a rainy, stormy week in December, staying late to apply tarps as needed. They were conscientious and attended to all details with the attached gutters. They did a thorough job cleaning up afterwards. The roof looks great and was done within the week. I am very happy I hired Sawtooth Roofing!

Unfortunately we had to completely replace our roof but fortunately this crew made it a little easier. They were kind, efficient, cost effective and fast. All things you'd want in a roofing company. The warranty is mainly why we went with this company after at least 5 estimates. The only issue we had was parking but our house is at the end of a court so it normally has issues. I just wish they had parked outside of it like we asked. Especially on garbage day

Sawtooth Roofing just put a new roof on my 1929 Portland bungalow. They were fast, efficient, professional and the quality was first rate. They were also the low bid out of three bids. I would not hesitate to use Sawtooth Roofing for any roof replacement or repair needs.

Darrin was over at a neighbor's house re-doing their roof. I asked him to come by and look at ours. He was happy to do it and I appreciated his honest opinion, but I especially appreciated that when he saw the state of the rubber gaskets on our vent pipes he said he'd replace them - for free! I offered twice to pay him and he said 'no big deal' it's just a good thing to do. He walked up on our roof and was done in five minutes! Wow, would totally ask Darrin for a bid when it comes time.

Reached out to them in August for an estimate. After accepting and stating they can provide an estimate, I sent them all the details and address/info. After two weeks of me chasing them and reaching out several times for an update, they finally get back to me about 3 weeks later and they say they are not interested. They declined to even provide an estimate. The communication was very poor, very unprofessional to say the least. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

We just had this amazing company reroof our house and it turned out perfect. The quality of products they use vs the competition is by far way better. They got the job done in 2 days which is amazing. These guys work so hard to make sure their customers are happy. Thank you so much to their awesome team.

We had a wood shake roof and contracted Sawtooth Roofing to tear off the old roof, install new plywood on the entire roof. They then installed the new premier roof. They did it all in a very professional manner. The work crew started every day in a timely manner, worked hard and kept the work area as clean as they could. We are very pleased with the final product, I did have sticker shock when I got the bid but I feel they did everything to earn it.
We are very pleased with the final product knowing that what is under the roof was done properly and knowing we now have a great new roof for the protection of our home. Thanks Sawtooth and the great crew that installed our new roof, it looks great and we couldn’t be happier.

They did the fastest roofing job I ever saw. They started one morning and they were cleaned up an out by noon the very next day. The quality of the work was excellent. I looked at a neighbor's roof, done the same month by a different contracter and they had uneven surfaces. Mine was perfect. I have used Sawtooth before and I will continue using them.

My experience with Sawtooth Roofing was Outstanding. Pete Guzzi, Sawtooth Representative, managed the project from idea to completion, which was challenging due to product defects. Pete made all issues go away... I am VERY SATISFIED!!!

Professional service from the first knock at the door to the dumpster being hauled away. Detailed bid, better materials and warranty than most and an inspector from your company came by both days to make sure everything was going good and we were happy. Not the highest bid and not the lowest bid BUT the best bid for what we wanted. Decent materials and someone we felt would show up and do a good job. The price was right in there :) I would (and have) recommended you to others. It's hard to find reliable, honest companies who take pride in their company and work. You do that.

Start to finish overall good experience, Will not know of any problems until we go into the winter season (rain, snow, wind, ice) We have the impression Sawtooth will stand behind the roof and their work. Hopefully Owens will do the same if any issues with material over time becomes a problem

Customer service was a 4+. Very friendly and kept all their promises. Workmanship was a 2. Poor attention to detail. Broken siding and reused flashing that was poorly done. Nails and bits of garbage EVERYWHERE (we have pets, too!)
We called to complain and they did sent someone out. However, they never communicated with us that was happening.
We called to follow up and they met us, walked through our concerns and EVERYTHING was fixed to our satisfaction.

It just took a while. If more quality work would have been done from the beginning, the score would have been much higher.

Sawtooth Roofing made a beautiful new roof for us this month. Pete answered our multiple questions with thoroughness and grace! The roofing team worked well together and finished in 2 1/2 days on a steep pitched roof in hot weather (just before the rains came again!). The cleanup was fine. There was damage to one mature tree, but the other plantings were well protected.

Sawtooth tore off three layers of roofing and installed plywood and a 50 year shingle. Great company to deal with and the clean up after the job left our yard spotless. I really appreciate how quickly all of my questions were answered. Our roof is now the envy of the neighborhood.
