I was looking for a company to replace the shingles on my garage as it had a bunch of leaks. I was told about Saunders & Sons roofing by 3 coworkers so I called up Bill, the owner, and explained what I was looking for. He set a date to meet in person to go over the quote which he never even had to go onto my roof to get a quote like other guys wanted to do. Saunders and Sons Roofing utilized satellite technology to obtain square footage and to see roof. Bill had shown up at my house with the quote, which he went over the details with me. His price was better than anyone around. As for the work....his guys were quick, clean, and professional. They started work at 7 and were gone by 1pm om a 90°day. Roof looks amazing and you would never know that anyone was there after the crew cleaned up the whole area. I will be utilizing Bill in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommend Bill and his crew for your roofing needs. The crew supervisor Jose was prompt and they started working right away. Did a great job protecting my wife's plants. They cleaned up excellent and actually had 2 people picking up the removed shingles all while roof was stripped to plywood. Jose pointed out sheets that should be replaced and we had them do it. They reflashed 2 chimneys and replaced 2 skylights while doing the job. I have no quams about recommending Bill and his crew for your roofing needs. I just wanted to say that Saunders & Sons was 100% splendid to work with. They replaced our roof in a day and change, including plywood on 2/3 of the house, and it is pristine, excellent to look at. Bill (owner) was onsite most of the job and supervised his talented and hardworking team.

Bill took care of the permit, dumpster, parts order, everything. We didnt have to lift a finger. They protected our flowers and small tree from getting damaged in the workzone. They left the house cleaner than they found it.

They were upfront and fast with the quote. They were competitively priced. They were extremely transparent with updates and communication every step of the way without me having to ask.

They not only did just the roof, but tweaked and redid the small details on the roof in addition without me asking.

We wont need a new roof for 25 years, but if a tree falls on my house, I am calling Bill again!

Oh also, I had a mold remidation company come in after the fact, who sprayed and sealed my attic killing any residual mold...the guy said the roof was one of the best looking repairs to a roof he had seen.

I could not be more satisfied with Saunders Roofing. Everything including planning, execution, communication, and clean up was spectacular. Bill Saunders and his crew arrived at around 7:30AM and got right to work. The house was wrapped with a mesh fabric extending beyond the bushes to prevent all roof removal debris from getting in the bushes and lawn. Bill walked me around the house and talked me though the process. Julio (crew Forman) ensured the days work progressed smoothly after Bill left at around 9:00AM. Throughout the day I would go outside to view the progress. Each time I did Julio asked me how things were going and if everything was good. Progress was always prefect. I was concerned about nails left on the ground after they were done but clean up was spectacular. I did a walk around the house looking for nails and I did not find a single nail. I'm sure there has to be one but I could not find one. If I ever need to get a new roof again in the future on a different house I would not hesitate to use Bill Saunders roofing.

100% great company to work with. We had a tree fall through our roof and a friend recommended Saunders & Sons. Within a day we got our estimate which was the best price out of all compared to 3 other estimates. Bill came out, we signed our contract 2 days the materials showed up at the house and within a day the whole roof was done in a clean and professional way. His crew was non stop working all day and even did some other repairs that wasn't even in our contract for no additional charges. If you need a roofing company this 100% the crew to hire.

Saunders and Son Roofing replaced the roofs on both my house and large horse stall barn. Several friends recommended this company to me. I received a very detailed written quote from Bill Saunders, the company's owner, within a couple of days of contacting him. Their price was extremely competitive and offering a written warranty is very reassuring. I signed a contract less than one week after I began my search for a roofing contractor. Bill immediately ordered the material for the job and obtained the permit as required by our town. He phoned when the material, and the dumpster, were ready to be delivered to the job site to be certain that everything would be placed were I wanted it. Everything was delivered as promised and the work crew arrived promptly. The crew, lead by Jose, worked tirelessly for three days. Their attention to detail was outstanding - especially making certain that flashing and seals were installed correctly. They worked in a very safe manner and maintained a neat work site; cleaning up at the end of each work day. The site was thoroughly cleaned upon completion of the job - it might even have been cleaner than when they began the project.

roof looks great-hasn't rained yet though-but Jose and his crew were terrific-especially Rosita keeping up with the debris coming off the roof ! Jose went above the call of duty with replacing a broken post cap on our deck the very next day !Thank you Jose. A roof replacement is a noisy messy job but by the end of the day (12 hours!!!) it all looked perfect I also thank my son for the referral-he had his roof done a few weeks before with the same results. Look up the meaning of Truly Exceptional! In my 50 years of home ownership I have never had an experience that matched that definition ... until now! I have been burned in the past by contractors so I took my time looking for quality product and a quality company to do the install. I boiled it down to three companies. Saunders and Sons Roofing ended up being our choice for multiple reasons.
1. The owner Bill Saunders immediately made, kept & showed up on time for the appointment we made.
2. He was the only one that followed up in a timely fashion.
3. He was personable, friendly, down to earth and proud of his roots and the company he built. Others were not nearly as punctual with their estimates, in fact one that had promised an estimate decided to go on vacation.
I was sold on Bill Saunders after our 1st meeting and told my wife if he was a little higher $... we may go with his company anyway.
He was the LOWEST by almost $4000 to our surprise!
Once we selected our color he ordered the materials and told us a window of time that he could do the work.
He called when the materials ariived and asked where we wanted them placed. Not his choice... ours. After they were delivered he followed up again. He called prior to the install to make sure the date still worked. We confirmed.
Then they showed up at 7:20 a.m. as promised. We walked the property... he explained what would happen today. He introduced me to Jose his supervisor and engaged us in a conversation so Jose understood our expectations. Then Jose gathered his Team and had a short meeting outlining the job & reponsibilities to his team. Then... BAM..... the Team exploded into action. Jose was terrific about keeping everyone on point and working efficiently.
Bill Saunders left but returned on several occasions to make sure progress was as planned. While gone he even called to let me know their could be a mild shower but his team would work through it and all would be safe as they were tethered.
When the job was complete Jose, then Bill ... separately walked the finished project to make sure I was satisfied. Final clean-up commenced and was left spotless... Whoops... I found 2- nails in a basement window well under a few leaves. Ha Ha
Bottom line this was the best experience having a project done at any of my properties in 50 years. TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!

The crew, led by their foreman Jose, were friendly, efficient, and proficient. Besides stripping, inspecting, replacing the ice and water shield, underlayment, and roof edge, they also added a bathroom exhaust vent to the roof. Jose even climbed into the crawl space to connect the exhaust slinky to the new vent. They treated the tiny roof over our breakfast nook like it was the main roof. The flashing on that roof was done better than the original. Ultimately, you can’t go wrong hiring these guys.

I've had Bill Saunders and his crew led by foreman Jose replaced 3 roofs for me at 3 separate locations over the past 3 years. They did an excellent job on all 3 roofs and I would definitely highly recommend them. They were able to completely strip and install in 1 day on all 3 projects. His crew was focussed and worked very hard despite high temperatures during the summer installation and cold temps on the most recent December roof job. Bill is a pleasure to work with and is very responsive and accommodating. 5 Stars for sure!

Excellent work, great value for the money. Bill is very professional and knowledgeable. Provided a perfect solution for replacing our rubber roof that no other company had come up with. The guys who came to do the work were just as professional and courteous. We replaced a large rubber roof and a shingled roof over the deck and they completed the entire job in a day and a half. We'll be calling them in a year or 2 to replace the main roof.

Bill was responsive to needs and requests. The crew was delightful AND he hires both men and women - so encouraging to see. The roof is beautiful!
