Sands roofing is an amazing company that I highly reccomend. They have been the most knowledgeable, helpful, timely and professional company I have delt with on several jobs I have needed accomplished from new roofs to siding repairs! Give Sands Roofing and Construction a chance. You will NOT be disappointed!

I chose this company because we were told that they would fly a drone with thermal imaging and give us a before and after photo to show us the heat release after the soffit vents were installed. I repeatedly called and asked them for the thermal imaging. They would never call me back when they did answer. They promised that they would come out and do it, but would never show up. when I finally did get the owner on the phone, he was rude condescending and repeatedly told me false information,the work was substandard and they left pieces of wood. They had cut out all in my gutters I would not use or recommend this company for any work whatsoever.

Sands Roofing is my go to roofer for myself, my family and my clients. Quick to respond and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

5 weeks ago I had an appointment with Sands Roofing for an estimate to replace my entire roof. After not showing up for the appointment, the lady in the office called and asked to reschedule. I agreed to another day and on that day "Ellis" showed up 5 hours late. We spoke for about 2 minutes in the driveway and then he went back to his truck. Ellis stated that he was waiting for someone to bring his drone. 20 minutes later, he left in his truck, never having flown his drone over the roof. I laughed it off and forgot all about them. The next day I received an estimate to repair the roof (which I said was not an option) and I also received an estimate to replace the roof (but it didn't include the porch). The estimate didn't include the porch because he never flew the drone so he didn't know the porch was in the back. He was relying solely on old satellite photos.
I moved on to interview other contractors.

Fast forward to last week and I received a call from Kale Sanders asking me to give their company a chance. I explained that I was looking at a few contractors and I was looking at not only price but scheduling but after doing my homework, I would call her back to let her know. 10 minutes later she called me again and stated that if I agreed to hire her company, she could move a job already scheduled for the upcoming Monday and get my job done quickly. I told her that it sounded a little too convenient, but if she was going to make a guarantee of Monday, then they could have the job.
That following Friday there were 2 pallets of shingles delivered to my house. I'm thinking "great, they're actually going to get my roof done".
Well, Monday morning comes and nobody is here. 9am, 10am, 11am.... I've called and left messages, nobody answers the phone. I finally got a sales person on the phone and he said he would find out what was happening. No returned call. Then Eric Sanders calls me and said they were held up on another job but he will get to me by lunch time.
1pm rolls around and he calls to tell me he's not coming. He said he can't predict when he'll be able to come now. I told him that the pallets in my driveway needed to be moved as I couldn't leave my car in the street due to HOA regulations. He said he would call me back in 15 minutes with a resolution. We'll what do you know, HE NEVER CALLED.
I Sent him a text message around 6pm to let him know that this was unfair and that I was now stuck moving them all myself.
Just before 9pm last night, Eric calls me drunk, just looking for a reason to cancel the job. By the end of the conversation he had done just that. So because his "family business" is incapable of keeping their contractual word, I have to start from the beginning again.
To make everything all worse, he sent someone to my house this morning to pick up the shingles. And they damaged my driveway and laughed about it. So now I have to go after the contractor for breach of contract and my financial loss. And I also have to go after the trucking company for the damages to my driveway.
Thankfully, I have all of our conversations recorded from my truck and the video evidence of my driveway being damaged.
So the takeaway from this, Sands Roofing and Construction will tell you ANYTHING you need to hear to lure you in to signing with them. Then they'll leave you high and dry in the end. Do your homework people. I should have read all of the complaints about these people before agreeing to hire them.

Absolutely amazing. They worked my project in so quickly so that I could finished closing on the property. Everyone was professional, courteous and timely. I will definitely be using again for any future roofing needs! 5 stars! Highly recommend

Sands Roofing repaired and replaced our roof after a tree fell on it during Helene storm. We were completely satisfied with the work.

I had a great experience with them right after the storm. They came out and gave me a quote and unlike a tree company they had covered my roof with tape to prevent further damage to the interior of the house. Layer on they came out and did a repair to my suffit and roof and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Thank you.

Rain from Hurricane Helene entered my home because the calking at my metal roof was old. Sand Roofing replaced all the calking at the roof and at my windows too. They did a good and thorough job. I should be ready for the next hurricane.

Prompt and reliable service. Had a new roof installed and a new facia fixed after the storm. I’m very satisfied

I met with their representative on Thursday, September 19th. I was told I would have an estimate later that afternoon. That estimate would need to be approved before metal could be ordered. Nothing came. Friday, also nothing. At 1030 on Monday I texted that I was still waiting on an estimate. The response was, “I am in the process of writing it now”. Later on Monday I texted that I had not received an estimate and resent my email address. No response. On Tuesday, I said still nothing. The response I got was that he would check on it that afternoon and maybe it went to junk mail. I responded that I had checked junk mail every day and it was not there. I got no response until 6 days later and he said he would send it over mid day that day. Nothing. I called the main office and left two messages and asked to be contacted by the owner. No response. They will say this was because of the hurricane but this was a full week prior to the hurricane. My project will now be over a month behind as I find a new roofer to complete the job. Their lack of professionalism will cost me over a month of time and money. Very inconsiderate of my time and very unprofessional. Beware.

So very pleased with Kevronn who came to fix our roof— initially we were told that our pipe boots need to be replaced, however, after inspecting things further he found the real issue and was able to get that done instead. Very friendly and professional and enjoyable to work with! Definitely would highly recommended him!

I called Sands Roofing after Tropical Storm Debby because we had shingles blown off of the pitch on our roof. They were there the next day to get them all patched up so we didn't experience any leaks with additional rain that came through. I appreciate their quick and very professional service!

Overall, i thought they did well. Roof looks good and doesnt seem to be leaking. The guys tried to clean up the best they could.
The owner, Mr.Ellis is a solid guy. Drove 1.5 hours to go over a few concerns with me.

I absolutely love the porch Sands did for us. They listened well and it is exactly what we wanted. They were easy to work with and communicated well with us. The price was fair and really I thought it was more than fair in the market today. If I need any other construction type needs, they will be my first call. Highly recommend!

I don’t know about their quality of work on roofs, but when it comes to siding repair they sent me a crew of 2 kids no older than age 30 to my house to do this in the pictures.

Ellis was good for the sale. THATS IT. Any further contact with him was met with, “your job is a small job and is the job for the repair crew.”

The job was scheduled on the 1st. They didn’t get to anything until the 10th to which their “boss” even sent the crew to me with the wrong shaped siding. Anthony who was in charge of the crew returned zero of my phone calls. Terrible communication. They didn’t get to any actual work until the 11th.

Sands should’ve replaced the whole panels as any proper siding repair business would do, but instead they chopped it up to what you see here. No color match or uniformity. Called and the lady said she spent “many hours” trying to find a match and that sun damage caused a significant change in the siding color. On top of that tried telling me to reside the whole top to bottom if I wanted a color match. Worthless company with zero accountability.

Long story short had to hire a DIFFERENT siding company to come out and not only color match, but repair the terrible work they did. Funny enough, one of the employees even used to work for Sands and knew about their low quality, high volume kind of work. The company also pointed out some parts of siding Sands didn’t even bother to nail to the wood underneath.

Just take a look on Yelp for accurate reviews of this company. Never again.

Ellis and Evan have gone above and beyond ensuring that my roof doesn't leak while we work to get it replaced. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

A wonderful family owned company. The customer service from Cale and Eric was outstanding. The values and standards of the employees are high and the workmanship was outstanding. I will be exclusively working with them for any and all roofing issues going forward.

They were great. Went over everything they were repairing. And came back second day and finished up.

Fantastic workmanship with more than fair prices. Don’t look any further if you want good honest people.I have to add I had 3 estimates from other companies and they 100% dishonest price gouging and pushy. I never do reviews but just know they are that good and honest unlike the rest. If there are any bad reviews it’s because of their error not Sands, because sands cares about people.

The company was very professional. My new roof is beautiful, they cleaned up all materials off my land when they were finished. I would recommend Sands Roofing and construction to anyone that needs a new roof replacement. Excellent job

Minor roof leak after heavy rain and wind; called Sands Roofing and Ellis came out, inspected, and scheduled repair. Anthony came out today and repaired, inspected, and addressed other areas. Outstanding service!

Ellis is extremely knowledgeable. I have spoken to lots of roofing companies, and I was blown away by the level of expertise and transparency with Sands. They explain everything and are very fair with pricing while providing excellent quality.

I was hoping that the loose shingles on the back of the house would be repaired and a better job in the front.

Sands Roofing responded promptly and came in to start emergency repairs the very next day. They went out of their way to inspect the roof and address any issues they found. They were thorough and diligent in their work and their team members are respectful and professional.

Sands Roofing exceeded my expectations. They have an extremely high expectation for the quality of work that they do, and their pricing actually beat out other competitors I talked to. They have higher standards than the other roofing companies I've worked with.

Can't say enough good things about the team from Sands who replaced my roof. Start to finish, from coming out to assess and estimate, to the responsiveness in scheduling and billing, great customer care! The team who pulled off the old roof and replaced not only the shingles but the plywood, too, were some hardworking men! They came early and stayed late till it was all done. Super job cleaning up, too! I have not seen a single nail - which, because I have dogs, matters a lot! I am very happy with my new roof, very happy Sands did it!

Please see attached pictures. The agreement was the downspouts will be installed at the rear of the building, not the side. The sales rep, Nick, and I even met in person to go over and confirm the location of the rear downspouts.

Sands Roofing came out to relocate the downspouts, but did not do so properly.

Update after owner response: The issue is the location of where the downspouts come down from. It looks unprofessional and shows a lack of craftsmanship. The downspouts should be coming down closer to the rear.

I had a really unusual roof leak due to improper ventilation. These guys came out and thoughtfully attempted to determine what the problem was and get it repaired. Highly recommend!

Great price in comparison to other quotes i got. Roof was done from start to finish in 6 hrs. They cleaned up nicely with all trash and nails gone. It's beautiful. No complaints and would definitely recommend.

On 12-24-22, Due to the very windy conditions this morning, we started loosing some roof shingles. In fear of more damage we called Sands Roofing & they responded immediately. Loved working with them. They were prompt in coming out for estimates and worked around my chaotic schedule. We had hail damage and Eric went to bat with the appraisal guy and insisted he physically get on our roof, not just fly a drone over it. Then the gentleman noticed all the damage. He even had two crews working on it to finish it before the rain came. Seriously can’t say enough great things about this business. Thanks for the great honest work!
