Recently they worked on my client's home preparing it for sale, and replacing the roof on a family members home. First, they did amazing work transforming my client's home to be show ready. This was our first time using Salty Dog and our last major renovation project (master bath), so we were pretty particular about who we felt comfortable with. From the get go, Ryan, J’Mell and Kristen were responsive and super communicative during the material selection and project scope process. Pricing was fair and they provided budgets for each aspect. Along the way as we made adjustments and changes, it was very clear and fair. Once our PM, Bill took over and his crew, Jorge and Fidel, started working, it was evident that their attention to detail and thoroughness was top notch and the result was one incredible final major upgrade to our 90’s era home. Last hit not least, as a veteran myself, working with and supporting veteran owned businesses is important to me and my spouse, so that made the decision that much easier. The next major project that comes around, they’ll be our first call. I added some before and after photos to see how impactful the changes are.

We just had a remodeling of a downstairs bathroom, and the entire experience was excellent. Staff was on time, cooperative, and very good at what they did. We will be happy to use them again!

We had an excellent experience with Salty Dog Remodeling. We were doing updates in our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Our home feels completely transformed. We had our cabinets painted and the attention to detail and quality of work was exactly what you would hope for. There was also good communication with the office staff and they were very understanding when it took me some extra time to make decisions, and responsive when there were e few minor ordering, or scheduling issues. I have never gone through this process and have heard horror stories, but my experience with Salty Dog was the exact opposite, and the end results were worth it. So if you are looking to do updates or remodeling this is the company you would want to work with.

Ryan came out and was right on time. He observed the damage to our interior and exterior one gave me an estimate of the time it would take and also provided possibilities that could alter the scope of the project. We had our roof replaced. The guys did an excellent job, but we’ve been trying to reach the owner for months, and he does not return my husband’s phone calls or texts. He was to follow-up re a concern with the project, and he’s dropped off the face of the earth.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. The project manager Daniel was very responsive and worked with my insurance company to submit a claim. They replaced my roof, skylights, siding, and made some exterior structural repairs. The employees were professional and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I was referred to Salty Dog by a friend after we received an insurance settlement due to a hailstorm. The first company we talked to ended up being a hassle. They kept insisting the roof had to be a certain high cost because they were a “high end” roofing company and that anything less would be super risky and other companies would be cutting corners to make it work (really didn’t appreciate the scare tactics). This company’s quote was a few thousand over our insurance settlement amount and they wouldn’t budge. When I called Salty Dog, I told them the settlement amount, they said no problem, and in a few weeks I had a beautiful, brand new roof with a long-term warranty. The entire process was super easy, professional and quick, and communication was great. Ryan was easy to work with and super down to earth. What more can I say? Will def be recommending to fiends and family.

Everything about our experience was great, and worlds above the horror stories I've heard from others regarding large contractor projects. Salty Dog is a recommended contractor for most any work you need to have done. So far, there is nothing they don’t do. We had siding, gutters, and roof work done. But the most amazing thing is our storm door is finally fixed after 10 years of being broken and being repaired and replaced by the company that installed it. Salty Dog seems to have fixed the unfixable.

My husband and I wanted to add a kitchen to our basement. We are shocked with how great the customers service is at Salty Dog. Ryan was so great with us and our family. He put a plan together, gave us suggestions, and met with us a few times to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. With short notice we needed the project to be done before April 1st and they pulled it off while working with our budget. This was so relieving because other contractors we spoke to tried to upsell us on everything!

Sent them to my uncles house to build an enclosed deck and patio and it turned out beautifully as well. Highly recommend!

Working with Ryan is always a pleasure. He's been a very reliable, go-to person for any household repair. I'm able to quickly reach out if there is an issue, and Ryan is able to come over and assist or provide a quick assessment/recommendation on how to fix the issue. He can also send over one of his team members same day if there is a more specific issue that can be better addressed by someone else. During this COVID time, it's so difficult to find someone you can trust that will be safe and get the job done. Thankfully, that's not a problem for Ryan and his team!
