K&P took care of my insurance claim by replacing an entire floor + ceiling repairs from water damage. K&P worked with the insurance company to get the proper amount of money to complete the work (insurance gave me an extra 2k after Pedro's estimate pointed out some omissions from insurance's estimate). K&P is very experienced working with insurance claims and would highly recommend K&P for dealing with them. Insurance company seemed to trust K&P's estimate as well (K&P is a preferred partner). As far as the work goes, my floor was put in very well and looks great (better than the prior one - e.g. spaces around the air conditioning vents fit perfectly)! K&P and all employees were very friendly and professional.

First of all Pedro (owner) is reliable, honest and available to answer questions before and during the work. You don’t need to worry about hiring them and never seeing or hearing from the owner again, like some other companies. The guys that did the work were knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to have in my house each day. I was comfortable having them there alone if I needed to run an errand. They were courteous and made sure we agreed on all steps of the job along the way. They took great pride in their work and making sure all was done to my liking. Pedro is very professional and reachable. I had a big insurance claim for rebuild of my kitchen resulting from a fire. Pedro’s team did all the work with great quality and working with the insurance was also a breeze.

Pedro’s team did extensive remodeling for our kitchen and bathroom and recently installed a new front door. His team are pros, work quickly and are great with finishing details.

My ceilings had splits on multiple floors to include some of the trims fasteners were starting to come out of the corners in the stairways. After speaking with the lead he inspected the trouble areas & gave me a quote that I couldn’t pass up. His crew came in, moved furnitures, & place protective barrier plastic. They not only repaired the trouble areas but also reinforced it to ensure long lasting quality. After they were done they cleaned after themselves. These guys knows exactly what they are doing!

We are relatively new home owners and just had our first emergency situation. We had a leak in our upstairs that caused some water damage. Pedro and his team, with Elmer, Jordi, Carlos and Levy, provide an extremely high quality service for a very fair price. We obtained 4 bids for our bathroom projects (1 new basement, 1 remodel and 2 complete updates). Three bids (including K&P) were pretty close and one way high. We picked K&P because Pedro gave us a good feeling and because of his unique pricing model, where we purchase all fixtures directly (we could upgrade things we cared about without discussion or price increase and simplified other elements). The 4th (master) is almost done and we are so happy with their work. Elmer and Jordi were able to maximize the tight space for the new basement bathroom. Carlos and Jordi do absolutely beautiful tile work, lining up patterns nicely with the stone-look porcelain we selected. Everyone was always supremely respectful, always laying ground cloths and cleaning up each day, punctual and communicated throughout to make sure their work aligned with our wishes. You can not go wrong with K & P. Next time we need any work at our home, we will definitely call Pedro.

Have a brand new home only 3yrs old. The builder did an awful number that set into the house over years. Found K&P online, made the call and Pedro called right away for a time to meet. The town house 3 levels looks brand new and couldn’t be more at ease with the fantastic work his team did just in 2 days. The response time, touch ups and repairs all over the home was just mind blowing, excellent and friendly workers as well. Would highly recommend them to anyone and would utilize there services again in the future for any repairs or additional work needed

We kept seeing K&P trucks down at another house on our street and when I reached out to my neighbor she happily gave us Pedro's information. He came out quickly to give us an estimate of work and provided what we felt was a very reasonable quote within a few days. Within a few weeks, his guys came out to do some repairs on the outside of our home including some masonry, hanging new shutters and repainting our front porches. We were so happy with this work that we have since had them repair an outdoor hose fixture that was not working (and required cutting into drywall in our basement), they have hung multiple light fixtures for us and we have them coming back tomorrow to do some repainting/wall repairs and work to our master bathroom. Pedro's guys are always timely, respectful, communicative and our home is always cleaned up before they leave. KP Construction has been my go to contractor for the past 15 years. They offer exceptional design services and quality construction. Among the many projects have been the construction of built-in bookcases and cabinets, bathroom remodeling, new wood flooring, new patio, and a host of home maintenance and repairs that occurred over the years. We had major water damage to my house from a plumbing issue in our upstairs bathroom. All three floors of my house incurred damage. Drywall needed to be replaced, walls and ceilings repaired and painted, tile removed and replaced, carpet removed and replaced and toilet removed and repaired and replaced. They had outstanding reviews and I was able to talk to several of their past customers who gave me very favorable endorsements. Great company! I renovated two bathrooms with them and they did an amazing job. They even waited for my countertop to arrive from Wayfair (it took 5 months...) to finish the master bath. A bathroom design company would have cost me at least $20K more, just for the design and big ticket items, which I found online for much cheaper. If you know what you want, then go with a general contractor company. After researching several (18 to be exact), I decided to go with K&P General Construction, and Pedro was amazing. He even brought in an expert to advice us on how to do the drain for the huge shower I wanted in the master bath. Originally I wanted a linear drain, but the shower was just too big, and it would have been too expensive to do, so we went with the normal round drain, and I'm happy. Even Pedro's recommendation for the glass shower enclosure was the best choice (CL Glass Works). I think you'd be happy if you choose the company.

After my dining room ceiling was damaged by a leak, the insurance company provided a list of contractors including K&P. After I called, Pedro from K&P came promptly to look at the situation and discuss what was needed to make the repairs. After I signed the contract, the work was scheduled for the following week. The workmen arrived exactly on time. They were polite, careful, and worked nonstop -- and finished what was needed in two days, including painting the walls and ceiling. It all looks

I had the pleasure of using K&P years ago in my previous house and when I needed painting and repairs in my new house after renting for a few years, Pedro was the first person that I called. His team just finished painting every room in my house, repairing all the baseboards and crown molding, repairing the caulking on all the sinks, and finally hanging my curtain rods. We were referred to K&P through our insurance company after a dishwasher leak ruined our hardwood floors. We could not be happier with the work Pedro and his team provided. In addition to replacing our first floor flooring from wood to LVP, they repaired drywall, and painted. They were clean, professional, responsive, and were always on time. Would highly recommend and will use K&P in the future!

We’ve used K&P over the past 3-4 years and have been more than satisfied with their services. We’ve contracted them to do bathroom remodeling, house painting, drywall, water damaged drywall, lighting, basic repairs and updating and more. If I could give zero stars, I would. This contractor lied to me from the start. Very dishonest. They indicated they knew how to install TREX on a deck and they obviously did not. They installed the TREX incorrectly by not supporting it as per the installation specifications in the TREX guide. This was shown to them by me - they did not even know what to do or what they were missing. I gave them an opportunity to come back and do it right and they were not able to do so. The county inspector told them that the joists MUST BE 12 inches apart so this is not an issue with me but somehow they could not get it right. The county inspector told me they usually don't see such big screw ups with licensed contractors and were surprised at what they saw from K & P. I don't want them back on my property so they can continue to not do the job correctly. I cannot safely use my deck for parties because they did not secure it correctly. The only saving grace is that I am going to receive half of my money back thru my credit card dispute so I can hire someone who knows how to support a TREX deck floor properly. My advice is to stay away from this company. Far away. Save yourself the headache.

I was in the market for a new master bathroom. Interviewed several contractors. None but K&P got what we wanted to do (and more importantly what we did not want to do). Their price was very fair, and the entire process went extremely well. End product turned out excellent, we’re very happy with them and likely to hire them again for more projects in our home remodeling in the very near future. The guys were great, respectful, on time every time, and did a great job! They’re our go-to crew now going forward!

In January of 2021 we experienced a bad pipe failure in our secondary upstairs bathroom. Water leaked and destroyed our kitchen ceiling, bathroom wall, floor and under the tub. We contacted K&P Construction, who were referred to us. They came in quickly, helped us work through the insurance claim process and in the end completed a fantastic kitchen ceiling drywall repair / paint job and bathroom remodel. I HIGHLY recommend them for any type job you may have. They are extremely efficient, clean, fast and affordable!

We decided to remodel our circa 1999 kitchen, but didn't want to tear down any walls or major construction. After meeting with several kitchen remodeling companies, K&P General Construction provided the most competitive estimate that worked within our budget. We previously used K&P Construction to replace a patio sliding-glass door. Pedro, owner of K&P Construction, meet with us a couple of times and provided an estimate that covered the remodel from tearing out old cabinets and appliances to installing new appliances, cabinets, accessories, and painting. Without any major such as removing/moving walls, our old kitchen was transitioned into, what felt like, a whole new kitchen! See attached photo of before (top) and after (bottom). Pedro and his team were always friendly and very professional. Like with any remodel, there were some small items that needed attention post remodel - Pedro ensured that these punch-list items were completed. We are happy with K&P Construction and would hire Pedro for future projects.

I contacted this company due to the good reviews on Google but honestly have no idea how you all even got this guy to your house. I’ve tried like five different times to get him to come back and he talks/texts but never sets up a time and comes out.

Pedro was great to work with for our kitchen renovation. The quote was very reasonable and the project came in exactly as quoted so there were no surprises. All questions were promptly addressed and any minor issues quickly resolved. I would not hesitate to use K&P again and highly recommend them.

We asked K&P to install a small section of wall and a door in the lower level of our townhouse, based on the reviews they received here on Google (particularly Pedro). As reflected in the other reviews, we are thrilled with the work that was completed. Pedro was awesome and made several suggestions for us to consider; we ultimately went with a sliding glass pocket door and it's perfect. The work crew was professional and efficient. K & P’s Pedro Has done several projects For me.He fixed a storm door that two other handymen couldn’t do. Pedro’s crew painted the outside of my house and went beyond the call of duty. They did an excellent job. They did some painting inside too.
I remodeled my kitchen and my hardwood floor was a mess. They stripped it, stained it, and sealed it. The color matched perfectly with the front hall. I was so impressed. I have had a lot of handymen over the years. K&P far exceeds any of the others. They are the best kept secret in town. I highly recommend them.

K&P Contractors worked with us for almost two months during our house renovation. They completely remodeled one of our bathrooms, and partially remodeled the other two. Tile work in the bathrooms and kitchen was of great quality. They painted the walls, ceiling and woodwork throughout the entire house. Pedro and his crew were extremely knowledgeable. He will offer suggestions, and explain in detail with samples or pictures why something we ask to have done might be better if done in a different manner. They easily dealt with the unexpected, and would manage to fix any problems that arose. The crew arrived punctually every day, and did a thorough clean-up daily. He told us at the beginning that he would not be finished until we were completely satisfied, and he stood by his word. I would hire him again if we need further work done, and I would definitely recommend K&P to others. Pedro gives you a fair, upfront price and does quality work. We are very pleased with the work he did repairing our windows and replacing our deck. We have recommended to several neighbors.

We recently used K&P General Construction to do some repair work and painting of our two decks. The project grew into a much bigger job than originally anticipated as Pedro and his team uncovered additional issues as they went along. Long story, short - they replaced a fair amount of wood not only on the decks but on other areas of the house, as well. They repainted both decks and the entire exterior of the house. They did a fabulous job and we couldn't be happier. We had worked with Pedro in the past for some interior painting and were so pleased with him and his crew that he was 1st on our list when getting estimates for this new project. If you're having work done on either the interior or exterior of your home, definitely get a quote from Pedro. Great to work with, great cleanup, and fair price!

K and P's Pedro is incredibly responsive and demonstrates all that is right in home contracting services. We hired K and P to power wash and paint the outside of our home and we are amazed with the quality of his team's work. Everything that was included in the contract was completed, timely (which was not easy with alltl the rain). He even showed the initiative to repair the many broken shutter buttons. We are very pleased!

Deb and I asked Pedro to help us prepare our home for sale. HE WAS GREAT!! His advice was right on the mark, he was fast, his crews showed up when promised, the work was professional and very reasonably priced. With Pedro it was one-stop shopping - "I got a guy for that," was his response to almost anything we asked. He also told us what we did not need to do and solved many issues with our home creatively to minimize time and cost of the prep. Work is complete, home is sold, and we owe so much to Pedro who made things happen. We count him as a friend and can't recommend him highly enough!!!

Pedro and his crew are the best! Before we hired K & P, we made the mistake of hiring another contractor who made a mess of everything. Pedro and his crew assessed the situation and fixed up everything including: tiling a floor, fixing up plumbing issues, enameled tubs, refinished a ceiling, repaired rotten wood trim outside the house, repaired picket fence gates, and a whole lot more. The crew was kind, efficient, and they always cleaned up at the end of the day. My only regret is not hiring them in the first place. It was a pleasure working with K&P and I look forward to working with them again.
