After meeting with several contractors in Rhode Island over the past two years, working with Salt Pond Builders was a breath of fresh air. From the start, I could tell Bill really cares about his work and his clients. When he gave me the quote for my project, I asked for a night to review it with my spouse, and Bill had no problem with that. He encouraged us to take our time and make sure we were comfortable with everything.
The crew worked quickly and treated our home with respect. The final result is even better than I imagined, and I can’t help but smile every time I see the changes in our home.
I had heard great reviews about Bill and his company, Salt Pond Builders, from a friend of mine and read good things online. They proved to be every bit as good as their stellar reviews, and then some. I contacted Bill to discuss re-siding our house (with cedar siding). He was helpful every step of the way, from selecting the most aesthetically-pleasing design, to selecting the best materials, to the installation itself, to the sealing of the wood once it was installed. The job was so well done that we then asked Bill to help us redesign our deck-railing and outdoor-staircase-railing, too.
Not only was all of the work he and his team did extremely high-quality, but it was done on budget, and on time. Communication with Bill was excellent at all times, and he was great to collaborate with. My vision of how things should look was definitely enhanced talking each project through and collaborating with him.
Bill and his crew were consummately professional, and every person Bill brought in to help with a project was equally professional, polite and efficient.
In addition to his professional excellence, Bill also happens to be an incredibly nice person. In my experience, this combination of great capability, professionalism, and kindness is hard to find in this industry.
