I had an excellent experience with Chris from Helping Homes after a terrible one with my solar contractor after the solar installation caused hidden destructive roof leaks. The subcontractor from the solar company gaslit me and wouldn't investigate the source and so I looked for a contractor to help and found Chris from Helping Homes! Through the whole process of the consultation and investigation, Chris was empathetic, supportive, and honest. He really went the extra mile to explain everything, provide support, and make sure I was able to identify the issue so it could be fixed. It's safe for me to say he is probably the most genuine contractor I've ever worked with and I knew immediately by his kindness and professionalism that he was honest and skilled and I could trust him with any work I needed. 10/10 I would recommend him to anyone. That's saying a lot too because as a single female, I'm used to being disrespected and people trying to scam me. This wasn't the case with Chris! He will treat you like family! Other contractors should take a page out of his book. It was refreshing to have that neighborly, good business ethics when you call someone for help. Love the new Roof we just had installed. Helping Homes, Dave and Chris were phenomenal to work with. Excellent installation, left our property immaculate after they finished and they beat everyone else’s price. They even made sure not to damage the new flowers that had just come up in our front beds. They put special tarp over them to protect the flowers. Top notch company!

Thank you, Chris and David, for a great experience managing a new roof and siding project from another state! Our family home in RI was in dire need of roofing and siding replacement, but I'm in Maryland. I took a trip up and interviewed four companies and chose Helping Homes RI after their very reasonable bid and very straight forward proposal. The work started on time, roofing went on with all new plywood, and the siding began quickly thereafter. We had a glitch with the electricity harness needing replacement, but Chris quickly found a local electrician and had the project back on track in two days. Bottom line is that the house looks fantastic with new gray shingles and siding really making a statement on the street. It was very hard to manage a project like this from afar, but Chris and David were very open with great communication and pictures showing me the progress. I am so glad I went with Helping Homes RI and I will gladly recommend them to anyone looking for very professional work at a reasonable price. Our family gives a big "Thank You!" to Chris and David for their attention to the small details that made this a great project.

My roof was partially damaged in one of our recent storms, and my insurance cut me a check for the partial damage. “Well, that was easy,” I thought to myself. Chris came out, did his own assessment on the health of the roof, and (with my blessing) went back to my insurance company to get enough money to repair the whole roof! His team found someone to safely remove my solar panels a few days ago, and then they fixed and replaced my whole roof in a single day! Now I have a brand new roof that looks great and I didn’t have to argue with my insurance company or anything (although they are great as well, thanks Homesite by Progressive). Anyway: Helping Homes RI was indeed a one-stop, no-hassle solution to a busted roof, and all I need to pay is my insurance deductible. Fast, easy, and friendly too. I haven’t had to replace many roofs but I really don’t know how it could be easier.
