I’ve worked with Elco on a number of projects over the past few years. They do a great job, have been very easy to work with, and really care about the finished product.

An excellent experience with all aspects of the company being friendly and professional. We had everything painted from the ceilings to the walls, and also the trim and doors. They were very meticulous in surface preparations and repairs. We were living here during the whole process, and they were extremely considerate in keeping the home livable. We had a fantastic experience working with Elco Painting to paint the inside of our home.

We reached out via their website, and within a couple of days Brian on the Elco team was in our home to provide us with an estimate of the project. He walked us through all of options and provided a detailed summary with photos of our home to show what would be included in the project. We were even introduced to a color consultant to help us choose the correct colors for each room we needed to paint.

The work itself exceeded our expectations. We were out of town as the house was being painted, but received progress updates every day from Brian and his team. When a slight miscommunication caused our mud room to be painted a different color than the one we originally chose, Brian and his team were quick to fix the mistake.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with Elco again in the future!

We have used ELCO Painting many times throughout the years on various home and business painting jobs. They always go above and beyond expectations. Their painters are courteous and careful and communicate well. They clean up after themselves and look for ways to make the jobs special. We are always pleased with the completion of their work. For example, the bollards around the electric and gas entrances were painted, they power washed more than expected, they found several maintenance items and coordinated with other contractors to get the tasks completed. The staff at Elco painting are professional, responsive, and flexible. Sam and Cody were patient with me, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and really listened to how I wanted my cabinet hardware to look. They were kind to my two dogs, and did an outstanding job. They took great care in covering all the areas in my kitchen that were not going to be painted as well as cordoning off the kitchen so that the paint wouldn’t be sprayed where it didn’t belong. They covered the floors with care. Our 1990’s, golden brown cabinets now look bright, clean, and modern. I’m so happy with my “new” kitchen. I literally saved $8000 by having my cabinets painted as opposed to refaced and they look like they came out of a factory. I highly recommend this company!

Great job! Highly recommend! ELCO helped fix a peeling paint job done a few years ago. They sandblasted, then repainted the whole house. Very happy with the whole experience.

Elco did a fantastic job for us. We were placing our home on the market and needed help patching a drywall joint that had separated out over the years. Elco came in and repaired MY attempted repair, patched and sanded a couple of other rough spots, painted the walls perfectly, and left our house without a speck of dust. All this on short notice and at a reasonable price. You can't ask for a better painting contractor.

Elco Paining did a superb job painting our condo. All rooms, including the basement came out exactly as we had hoped and pictured it. Elco painted all of my interior ceilings and did an outstanding job. Right from the beginning with the appraisal, along with them being on time along with their professionalism. Truly professional. Excellent communication with job supervisor. Top quality carpentry work, even though they mostly do paint. Without exaggeration, I can say it was the best repair/renovation experience I have had in 10 years of home ownership.

We had our entire house painted for the first time in more than 10 years. We also needed an extension built onto our outdoor shower. Elco gave us a prompt and competitive quote and delivered a high quality finished product. ELCO did an excellent job on my father's house in Portsmouth. My dad had them do some exterior and interior painting, and he said ELCO is high quality/ low cost compared to other RI companies. Add to that, this family-run business treated my father with such courtesy, even personally delivering a refund check because he'd over-paid on the invoice. If I lived in RI I would definitely hire ELCO!

Elco painted our house and deck 2 years ago. They also replaced some railings on our deck.
2 years later, the railings that weren’t replaced, began rotting through.
I spoke with Ken Elliot about my issue and he was on site within 20 minutes.

His carpenter came over, measured what he needed, replaced and painted all the railings.

I can’t say enough about their responsiveness and the quality of their work.

We recently had our downstairs, hallway, front door, and bathrooms painted. We were impress on how efficient, receptive, and thorough from booking the appointment to the finish product. Our upstairs bathroom ceiling has been problematic for mold and peeling. Disney was extremely dedicated in overseeing that the job was done to our satisfaction. Edward diligently worked on the ceiling to remedy the problem. All the painters who worked on the job were polite and professional. I hired Elco painting to paint the cabinets in my new home. It was a professional job and I am happy with the results. The communication or lack of was a bit concerning. From the time I spoke w a sales rep to coming to my house, I never knew what day or what time they were showing up. My only complaint is the lack of communication.

I had the outside of my home sandblasted and painted. The painting was excellent! However, the sandblasting was awful. They did not cover my windows enough and I had a LOT of sand come inside the windows. They also scored my windows. The sand made tiny marks on my windows that can only be fixed by replacing the glass. I am still waiting to see the estimate on how much this will cost. Steve has told me that he has the estimate and will send it to me. That was at least 3 weeks ago. He hasn't done so and won't answer my calls . I am ready to have my lawyer contact him.

I am so pleased with Elco painting. I would HIGHLY recommend using them to everyone. Each issue within my painting project was addressed by a true professional and a highly qualified person. From the painters (excellent), to the door refinishing, (superb) , the carpenter who rebuilt stairs, the sanders who sanded the decks, the owner who arrived on time to provide an estimate and contact when necessary, the bookkeeper and the office manager.. ELCO Painting is a fabulous family company! From the consultation to the scheduling of the project to the actual work being done the communication, attention to detail and quality of work is top notch. We have had interior, exterior and cabinet painting completed.

I’ve used Elco three times, for whole house exterior, our decks and porch, and most recently for our interior staircase walls. All staff were efficient, polite, and quality work was done. The exterior was done in 2009 and still looks great. Unhesitatingly, I recommend Elco.

I had multiple tasks requiring different skill sets, staining and rejuvenating woodwork, painting cabinets, color match and painting radiators, drywall repair of water damage, high ceiling walls (20ft) and ceiling painting, and wallpapering. ELCO surveyed the entire set of tasks, developed a comprehensive plan that coordinated their resources to my schedule. They did what they said and when they said. They are professionals that I have no issue trusting in my home. Their workmanship was excellent. Workers arrived each day and on time to paint the exterior of my Cape Cod style home which required a great deal of attention to detail. There was no inconvenience to me at all throughout the duration of this project. The finished product is just superb. Once the project was started every little detail was addressed and completed without further input from me. We have been using Elco Painting for interior and exterior painting and staining for almost 10 years. Outdoors, they've maintained our front porch, front door and fence. Inside, they've done painting on our ceilings (including a tray ceiling) as well as molding and interior walls. Elco does some sort of work for us every year and they're the only company we work with. They also provide excellent recommendations. Elco is responsive, dependable and high quality. Quote for the interior of a 2800 sq ft house WITHOUT ceilings , kitchen and living room being painted was quoted an extremely high price compared to my two other quotes .
