Almost a year now since we had our roof replaced by Midland Roofing. Dennis gave us a very competitive quote after inspecting our roof and pointed out exactly why it was failing. We have a very poor slope on the roof, (2.5/12) and he explained how they would install the proper underlayer to ensure success. Once they removed the old roof, they discovered a lot of damage to the plywood underneath. Allan, the foreman, brought me on to the roof to show the damage and it was obvious that a large number of plywood sheets had to be replaced before any installation could take place. The wood was ordered, it meant some down time for the crew until it arrived during which the entire site was cleaned up. One the wood arrived they got back to work and completed the roof as promised. I gladly paid the very reasonable added cost for the extra plywood and have enjoyed a leak free roof for the past year. Very professional crew that does excellent work.

Midland is my go-to roofer. They are local, fair priced and do an excellent job. I have used them twice. First I had two roof leaks, and I was expecting to be told I need a new roof. Dennis the owner came out, looked at the roof, talked to me, and said that the roof had a lot of life left in it, and repairs were all that was needed. He sent one of his crew out who spent the day diagnosing the leaks and repairing them with new shingles and chimney flashing. No more leaks! The second time I used Midland was this month where we wanted to get our roof replaced prior to installing solar. Again, Dennis could have sold me a whole new roof, but he said the roof still had plenty of life left, so we only did the front half where the solar panels were going to be installed. The crew arrived early, worked hard and professionally until 2pm, and when they left, there was absolutely no evidence they had been there except for the new roof! They had cleaned up all the trash, nails, and the roof was professionally done, including all the GAF components for their lifetime warranty. Dennis then arrived to check that the job was done properly. I am fully confident in Midland and when it comes time to do the rest of the roof, I'll be calling Midland again.

A roof replacement is not for the faint of heart. Luckily Dennis and Midland were capable and, most importantly, transparent in their estimate and work. From the get-go Dennis came out to give the estimate and was able to answer questions we had. On the morning of, Dennis was the first to arrive to make sure his crew was briefed. The job was completed in one day with no corners cut. And the bill was exactly the estimate provided at the beginning of the process. I think this is what folks are looking for. Dennis the owner responded to my inquiry within 24 hours and came out the following day to give us a quote on a full roof replacement. He found trouble with two gutters one being a leak and one being a design flaw that was causing an uneccesary backup of flooding. He sent the very reasonable quote the following day and said he would be sending a crew of 15 workers to complete the project as soon as they were available. We had an unexpected heavy rain storm and had some water leaking. I called Dennis and he sprung into action and set the job up the following day. The crew was amazing to watch as they worked in unison to prep, complete and cleanup the project in one day. Dennis has since done two additional roofs for our family with perfection as well. We couldnt be happier with the result and the service and would never hesitate to reach out again for any future needs.

i would recommend Midland Roofing. I needed a shingle replacement and got a reference from a neighbor for this team. The owner came at my request to provide a quote and present their product. The presentation was very professional and their quote very reasonable for my choices. The team came on the agree upon date, on time, set up tarps to protect the surrounding shrubs, etc. They completed the job as described in the presentation and did a very good job at cleaning up before they left, including use of a magnetic rake to ensure no nails were left behind.
The roof looks great and i am very satisfied with the job they did.

The products are solid choices, Dennis is thorough and accommodating and guarantees his work, and the cleanup was complete and spotless. Midland Roofing and Dennis in particular were amazing to work with. Dennis was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry. Gave me a detailed estimate within days and it was not changed when the work was done.

The crew itself was on time and professional. They covered all our lawn and other areas with tarps to limit any damage and leftover materials. They were methodical in cleaning up as well. My kids and I went out searching for leftover nails after the job was finished and came away with one total between the 3 of us!

Highly recommended! Dennis arrived on time to inspect our roofs, provided us with a detailed quotation, explained every step in the installation process and the materials to be used. On installation day, the crew arrived at 7:30 AM. By 5:00 that afternoon we had our beautiful new roofs, and new skylights. The crew cleaned up and left the site with no sign of the construction that had taken place. Give then a call, you will be glad that you did.

Very satisfied with Midland, Dennis, his foreman Alan and their entire crew. My roof had 2 existing layers that they removed and replaced. Dennis predicted it would be a 2 day job and it was. I wanted to be home when the work was done and Dennis worked around my schedule and did the roof when I was able to be home. While the vast majority of the roof was asphalt shingles, there were a couple of small sections that were rubber roof. Alan spent a good amount of time making sure the transitions between asphalt and rubber were done right and I was very impressed with the result. Additionally, there was a section of roof edge that had some rot that Alan removed and repaired that came out looking very good. My gutters had also exceeded their useful life and I had those replaced as well through one of Dennis' subcontractors.
To sum up...High quality work, done on time at a competitive and reasonable price.

Dennis and his crew did a fantastic job. We have used Midland Roofing to replace the roof on my mother-in-law's house many years ago. They also did a repair on a leaky stink pipe on our house a few years ago. At that time, I asked Dennis about replacing the roof and he was honest and he said the roof was in good condition other than needing the minor work done.
I was very pleased with the job and his honesty. Our house was built 26 years ago and we were concerned about the roof now. Dennis took a look at it and he said that it was starting to show its age now.
We decided to have him replace the roof. They had the whole job completed in less than a day!
They even put protection around all of our windows and shrubs.
I hear many complaints with other roofing companies. If you do not even have Midland Roofing give you a quote you are not treating your roof properly.

Recently completed new roof with 3 skylights by Midland Roofing. Great experience. Very pleased with the outcome and service. Roofers very professional and conscientious cleanup. Dennis, the owner, was very responsive to any questions and concerns before, during and after the job.

It was a pleasure working with Dennis and company during my roof replacement for my duplex in a considered historic district. Dennis was extremely responsive, provided advice knowing I was going through an insurance claim, provided a fair quote and answered any and all questions I had during the process. Midland Roofing was also one of the only companies confident enough and completed repair of my severely damaged wooden soffits.

Knowing I was on a deadline due to the insurance claim and solar skylight tax break, the workers of Midland Roofing completed everything in two days right before the New Year, working in cold temps and even late at night. The workers provided the requested pictures I needed for my insurance claim throughout the process along with remained very clean and organized. I had Midland replace my roof a few years ago. They did the work on time and on budget. Lately I noticed some water leaks and Dennis was extremely attentive to my concerns. It turns out the problem wasn’t the roof, but the chimney, as confirmed by a chimney sweep and an inspection Dennis did on a rainy day. (In other words, it wasn’t Midland’s fault and was unrelated to the roof itself.) Dennis gave me good advice on how to address the problem. Highly recommend the professionalism and courtesy of Midland Roofing.

Excellent finished product. Midland covered the decks and porch to help protect them, along with moving small items away from the house that could be damaged.
When the job was finished they removed all the debris and thoroughly cleaned up around the house and shed.

We decided on having our roof replaced by Midland Roofing after talking with several people who either had roofs done or were familiar with Midland’s work. Dennis came to check the house out and I found him to be knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. During the inspection he suggested some things that could be done along with the roof work (i.e., removal and disposal of unused hot water Solar Panels among others). The proposal he gave was detailed, and the estimate was very reasonable.
The installation crew showed up at 7:30 AM on the scheduled day, accomplished the removal of the old shingles and old Solar hardware, completed the new roof installation and complete yard clean-up by 4:00 PM.
After the roof installation we had gutter guards installed. The installer asked me what company did the roof. He said he checks out the roofs when he does his installs. His observation was that this was one of the best roofing installs he has seen.
