I hired Paul and his team to complete a total basement remodel. Paul, Carl and John were always friendly and helpful if I had any questions. They turned an old 70’s basement into an absolute cozy mother in law apartment. They were so patient with me trying to make decision and adding additional projects. They ran into a mess of electrical work that was outdated and they completely brought everything up to code. They care about their clients and it shows in their work and quality. The job was completed on budget and above my expectations. Paul Rudd would be the best contractor for any of your projects, he gets back to you quickly and communicate throughout the whole thing. After my family saw my area they will be calling him for their projects they need completed in the future. They loved it!

Paul and Carl replaced my water heater quick when it went out. And when the water heater was giving weird errors the next day, Carl came out and fixed it right away. His work was clean, thorough, and thoughtful. I’m definitely using them again

Paul and Carl exceeded my expectations! I heard back from Paul within a day of submitting a quote request on the website’s Contact Us form. Paul provided a detailed quote that was easy to read. They got to work within a week or so (they were wrapping up another project). Paul quoted me at 5-6 days to complete and it took 6 days - no delays at all! Carl did fine craftsmanship. They were both super flexible with adding small asks to the quote as we went along (installing an additional light and outlet). Paul always responded within a day but, more often, within hours whenever I sent an email. When the project was done, they cleaned up the site spic and span and even offered to haul away anything we had on the property that needed to go to the dump. The project was enclosing and insulating our carport to serve as a bike garage. Without hesitation, I can say that this was the best experience I have ever had with a local contracting company.

Paul and Carl did a solid job with the plumbing and electrical work in my kitchen. They were on time, communicative, and transparent about the work needed. Everything was completed as expected, and I appreciated their honesty throughout the process. I’d hire them again and would recommend them to others looking for reliable service.

We worked with Paul Rudd for a remodel on our bathroom and laundry room. They did a great job and we are very happy with the results.

Paul and John did a major remodel for us that included the complete demo of 3 separate areas and 2 half baths to become one completely remodeled full bath and 2 bedrooms. It entailed removing walls, installing and enlarging windows, adding in support beams, as well as re-plumbing, re-wiring, shifting hvac lines and more. Not only was the work done well and thoroughly- and for a fair price- but almost equally significantly was that they were just truly great guys. When you have people in your home for months, it matters that you can trust them and feel like they care about your wishes, and John and Paul almost felt like part of the family by the end. :) I also had a very particular modern minimalist style I wanted and they were incredibly receptive to and patient with my vision, working hard to bring it to life where possible, in stark contrast to other contractors who often just tell you something isn't possible. It's a good sign when you're already thinking about more projects after a significant remodel, and I would absolutely work with John and Paul again.

Paul and John are awesome! I needed a couple walls torn down, one being load bearing with new beams and posts installed. They followed engineering plans exactly and did solid work. They also relocated a basement staircase and rebuilt new stairs. Along with these major construction projects they were able to handle all the electrical and HVAC issues that came up once the walls and ceilings were opened up. They were priced very competitively and were able to get started quickly and stayed on schedule throughout. I'm very happy with the remodel work they did.

Overall, the work they provided was fantastic, they were very communicative every step of the way, and they were flexible in changing plans to meet my needs all while working to stay within my budget. I highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again for future projects!

Paul and his team removed the all of the flooring in my house in two days. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves each day. They were respectful of our space. Paul is knowledgeable and explained what it would take to refinish vs install new. Now I am having his team design a full new kitchen. The plans are looking so good. It’s nice working with a team the can do design work, construction, and finish carpentry.

Paul is honest and communicates well. I always know when he's coming, and that he will get the job done. You can tell Paul has a great work ethic. He is thorough and cares about his work.

He has remodeled my bathroom and another room in the house. He has had to use his expert problem solving skills to work with this old house. Salt Lake City Contractors did some major work on my house. They were a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. John did the work and was kind enough to also replace some previously scratched flooring that was not part of the original scope. They also came in under budget and were responsive throughout the job. I would definitely hire them again.

I've worked with Paul and his team on a handful of projects and have always had excellent results. He's built me a pergola, custom beds for my kids, repaired my deck, built a custom farmstyle table and is currently waiting on me to come up with my final design for a covered patio. I couldn't be happier with the end result. My only critique is that he looks nothing like the more famous Paul Rudd.

I was in need of a basement bathroom remodel on a short schedule. I contacted Rudd Builders based on a referral and am very pleased. In a short amount of time Paul Rudd had removed a tile floor, tile shower, sink, old sheetrock and lots of storage cabinets. Very professional and clean, no debris left through my house. My completed bathroom has new tile, beautiful cabinetry, updated lighting and plumbing fixtures. Large modern shower. The quoted price and the quality of work exceeded my expectations.

Owner Paul Rudd built me a custom closet in my master bedroom. I had no idea what I wanted, but I new it was time for a closet remodel. He came in, gave me wonderful ideas and began building. I went from a cramped, messy closet to a walk-in that was easy to organize and find clothes in. I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade any indoor area in their home.

Paul was great to work with. He was on time everyday he was scheduled to come work in my kitchen. I had him put some Ikea cabinets in and he did great! He even made some custom pieces for the countertop and my kitchen looks great. I have worked with Paul on multiple projects. He first perfectly installed solid wood core French doors for our home in Park City, and most recently he built a beautiful mahogany wood multi-level deck. Paul is incredibly skilled, ethical and professional. Finding a skilled builder who is also as ethical and professional as Paul is not an easy task nowadays. We plan to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms next summer. There is no doubt we will hire Paul again! For what it's worth, I worked with Paul's father before he retired. His father was the most skilled finish carpenter I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Paul definitely learned from the best!
