My townhome HOA hired S&D Enterprises to complete a roofing / siding project on all the units. After completion of the project, I had insulation blowing out of my vents, several leaks, cold drafts coming from bathroom exhaust fans, fireplace and all outlets including the interior wall, damaged HVAC ducts and cracked trim. The project was completed in September and the problems first started in October of last year, and a few of them continue to persist. I paid for vent cleaning before knowing they damaged the ductwork, had S&D out several times for the same issues, had Four Seasons inspect / repair the damage they caused that was doubling my gas bills for months and now they want me to hire another company to inspect the fireplace. Stu Martel is rude and condescending and at this point I'm fed up. His suggestion to offset the persisting problems this project has caused is to buy new exhaust fans for the bathrooms and run them 24/7 to stop the cold draft (ummmm???) and to have a fireplace inspection and install a backdraft / airflow vent to stop the cold draft that wasn't there before the roofing project. This is still an ongoing matter 7 months later. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The roof in question is 20 years old and there has never been an issue of leaks or ice damming until AFTER the roof was replaced by S&D.

We now have mold, mildew, drywall damage in 2 parts of our home.

Sam Martel one of the owners does not take responsibility for his crews work and makes excuses for my legitimate concerns.

Please repair the problem, I should not have to deal with leaks after you put on a new roof. Downspouts not properly installed and missing flashing.

Sams remedy is for me to call our insurance company and place a claim with them for the repairs.

So look for another roofing company that will stand behind their work. I realize mistakes happen, but the way a company chooses to handle customer complaints tells the true story about the owners.

S&D is choosing not to repair the drywall, mold and baseboard damage.

Sam does not care about our satisfaction and doing the job correctly.

S&D Roofing Services sends junk faxes to random people in violation of Federal law (the Telephone Consumers Protection Act).

If you're a victim, you can file suit in a court of small claims for $500 per violation. Damages can be trebled if the court finds the violation was willful or knowing. Or you may wish to try to settle with S&D Roofing directly.

If you work for S&D Roofing, you should know that junk faxing is theft, which is why the law exists. You are forcing recipients to help pay for your marketing. Stop doing that.

Steve is rude. We live in a town home community that was having the roofs replaced by S&D, and Steve REFUSED to do the roof of our neighbor(a single man) in the morning and instead did our roof waking our four small children. We asked repeatedly for him to save ours for the afternoon, and his response was "take them too the park" and "well they need to get used to the noise" they also left insulation all over our front yard, that we had to pick up so our dogs wouldn't get injured.I would neve reccomend this company! Steve is rude and unprofessional. If I could give them zero stars I would!
