The work performed at my home by RX Renovations LLC under the direction of Grant W. materially deviated from the agreed-upon scope of work in the following ways: 1) The existing roof was not removed, contrary to contract terms; 2) Insulation panels intended to correct drainage issues were NOT installed; 3) A bitumen roof—a significantly less durable and lower-cost product—was installed instead of the contractually specified 60 mil TPO membrane; lastly, 4) HVAC units were improperly handled and not reinstalled properly.
Moreover, Grant stated the work would take a day and it took three weeks with little to no communication throughout the lifecycle of the project. The initial email notice to Grant about the breach of contract was on May 29th, 2025 and he did not reply until June 9th, 2025 until a review was written discussing this breach in contract. The roof install was finally completed on May 3rd, 2025 and he provided no notification of the change until the review was posted on June 9th.
Reserving the right to change materials based on “market availability” without communicating the change and getting formal approval for the change with the customer/buyer constitutes a material breach of contract. It also is a poor reason to make a decision without communicating it to the customer/buyer, seemingly for your own (financial) gain. All trust is gone.
If you want little to no communication and zero transparency from a business for your project, select RX. If you want a business that deviates from the original contract signed, select RX. I do not recommend this business.
I had my windows replaced by RXRenovation. Grant Winstead came to my house and explained everything. There was absolutely no pressure. I am extremely happy with the results. My windows look super great and I am anxious to recommend this company. I noticed an immediate difference going from my old drafty windows to the new windows, especially in the back rooms of my house. I am so happy about that. The process did take a little longer than expected, and I did get a little skeptical at one point, but during the wait, I was kept abreast of my order and my calls were always answered and/or returned, and I was reassured that there is no need for worry. As soon as the windows were ready, I was given a call and the process began and was completed in one day. The installation crew was very friendly and professional. They got here on time and worked diligently to complete the job. They cleaned and vacuumed all mess. They were excellent. I am very pleased and extremely happy with the entire process. So glad I was patient. Thank you.
Recently Grant and his team at RX.Renovation Xperts remodeled our bathroom from a tub to a walk in shower. The customer service was amazing. We loved the quality of the products they selected and they went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. We are very pleased with the finished product.
