When we had our spray roof installed by Jason at RV Roof Arkansas, the best decision we made since owning our RV

This was the 2nd time we had to have our RV roof replaced.
The first time the roof was replaced they used the standard roof replacement TPO, paper thin, when a tree went through the roof. The cost of the paper thin roof was around $8,000 that our insurance company paid. After having the roof replaced the first time and they used lap sealant, it started to crack after a few months and needed resealing. At this point we realized what a bad idea it was to have them replace the roof with this paper thin material. One thing I want to say about the factory roof is that it is the worst idea in the world. Paper thin roof material, anything can tear this roof--hail or a tree limb, and continuous resealing with lap sealant is enough to drive a person crazy. Every few months one must climb on top of the RV to inspect this sealant for cracks and pinholes. I am ok wth heights but never understood why I have to inspect something every couple of months when the material should be durable. Another problem we found tough to stomach about this factory roof was if it gets a little tear in it, the whole roof needs to be replaced.

All that aside, let's just talk about “R” value, which the factory paper-thin roof gives you 0 “R” value. After having our new paper thin roof at about 5 months, during a storm a tree branch fell and tore our roof again. Picking RV Roof Arkansas to install a roof this second time was the best decision we have made aside from buying our RV in 2019.

After Jason replaced our roof we immediately noticed we could not hear the rain as much, everything became quieter. A few months after having it installed, we were in a very cold winter with temperatures falling below zero. Usually when we see anything below zero our RV becomes unlivable but this year it was truly an amazing difference. We feel a lot more confident in the winter.

Shortly after escaping the cold we found ourselves down in the Florida Keys and we were in 100 plus degree weather, our RV stayed ice cold and we never turned on the 3rd air conditioner. We were amazed how much cooler the RV was.

The things we did to add to the roof were 3 fan driven roof vents, to the 2 piece versions by MaxxFan because one part mounts to the roof and is sprayed in place and the RV flexarmor is sprayed on top of it, sealing it down. Then you just attach the Maxxfan to the mounting plate. This roof is extremely strong, we had a tree limb hit the roof with this roof and nothing happened. Jason is a hardworking person who is passionate about his work and is a perfectionist when getting it right.

If you want to guarantee you'll never have another roof leak this is the place to go! After tons of research Flex Armor became a no brainer for us. It's strong, durable and thick since it's sprayed on. Also you really can't beat the price for what you're getting. It was almost half the price of getting the original rubber redone at the RV place. The owner was very thorough and went over everything. I thought I just had a small nickel sized leak in the bathroom. Come to find out every solar panel screw leaked, AC leaked, and the most damage was from the skylights leaking. I'm so glad I didn't go the roll on route or I would of had mold and rot still in my ceiling area. They replaced all the decking and it now looks brand new. I normally don't leave reviews but you don't get great customer service like this very often. So if you want a worry free lifetime guarantee roof give these guys a call.

This is our 2nd coach going to a Flexarmor roof. 1st one from 3 years ago is going strong. They did a fantastic job on our Class A. Redecked all of the rotten pieces and coated it. Looks amazing. Most importantly, no more climbing on the roof to seal everything!!
