Starting with a visit from Ray for an estimate on my deck roof, to the completion of the service was as always very professional and very satisfied with the service I received. Ray gave me a couple of options - based on his experience and knowledge - to choose from since this was a minimally sloped roof that required special roofing tiles and technique. This is the second time I used RTP Roofing, and they once again came through with awesome results. The crew was very polite, professional, and efficient - they know how to do a great job. I had a few questions prior to the job start date and Ray was quick to respond and very helpful. The new roof looks great and there is no clean-up required by me. I have and will refer RTP to anyone asking for information on a highly qualified and dependable roofing company. Great support from the office support team also - just an all-around great company to do business with!

They came out and installed some vents in our addition and they did a great job! The owner and proprietor came out personally to do the estimate, was able to schedule the job quickly, and the workers did a good job and even cleaned up the debris.

I have used RTP Roofing twice now. Once for a leak in my roof and with the hail we had in May of 2024. I think Scott and his team are wonderful. He went to bat for me with my insurance company. Our roof was done on time and they cleaned up my yard. I do not know a lot about roofs, he took the time and explained the process. He sent sample colors of roof and gutters. His office staff is supper nice when I called and had questions. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a roof leak fixed to a whole new roof.

We had hail damage to our roof, but we weren’t sure if the damage was enough to put in an insurance claim for a roof replacement. RTP roofing was prompt and professional when answering the phone, and Ray came out for an inspection quickly. He was thorough and answered all of our questions. He was easy to get ahold of and always answered emails promptly. We ended up having the roof replaced and he was so helpful throughout the entire process. The crew was efficient and they cleaned up the yard and area around the house perfectly when the job was done. I've used the services of RTP roofing for many years. The reason is they are reliable, knowledgeable, and professional. Most recently, we had an ongoing problem with our clay tile roof in one area of the house. The leak was small and difficult to locate. But RTP refused to give up. They came out mutliple times until the problem was discovered and fixed. It's that kind of dedication to doing what is right that keeps me coming back to them again and again. Their pricing is fair and they pride themselves on being part of the local community (no here today, gone tomorrow hail chasers). That's important to me. I am very happy to recommend RTP Roofing.

This was the second roof RTP installed for us. The first time was great- the roof was perfect and everyone was so awesome. This time, the crew was still amazing and the roof is perfect, but Scott Ponzio was unprofessional, unreasonable and wholly unacceptable. It took him an entire year to finally get us scheduled for reroofing. During that year I would ask if he still wanted our business and he assured us he did, but we had to wait and wait. Finally he announced we were on the schedule, right after my husband and both had surgeries but we didn’t want to have to wait even longer. Afterward, Scott, who used to live down the street from us and had always been very friendly, began acting as though he had never dealt with insurance companies before and like this should be pocket change to us (the roof was over $32,000). He nagged and pestered and seemed to think his poor behavior could hurry along his payment. Our insurance company wanted proof of completion and Scott treated the agent very rudely and actually made the process take even longer by his unprofessional demeanor. He decided we were taking too long to pay and revoked the discount he had originally given us. I will not conjecture on why he was so profoundly obtuse, but suffice it to say we will be letting all our friends and neighbors know about our experience.

Great experience! Got an estimate scheduled, gave me a reasonable quote and did a small install/repair job for I needed done before getting my house on the market. Ray's team worked quietly and efficiently and left the area clean and did a quality job! I will definitely keep them in mind if I have any issues come up with my gutters or roof.

We highly recommend RTP roofing. About a year and a half ago they re-shingled our house after a hail storm and did an excellent job. They even scheduled it for when we were on vacation so we missed out on all the noise and mess. Another hail storm came through and many nearby houses were reroofed but ours was fine. A third hail storm came through a few months ago, and again numerous nearby houses were reroofed and ours only needed the cap shingles replaced. RTP Roofing’s excellent materials and workmanship have been great.

The communciations between the customer (me) and the insurance company was wonderful, including and explaination of challenging insuarnace company jargon. The price was quite fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the cleanup left nothing behind, no nails, paper, tile etc. I would refer RTP in a heartbeat.

The team was very courteous with letting me know when they arrived, what they were going to work on and when they were wrapping things up for the day. And their clean up was meticulous! With my last roofing company in 2009 I was picking up nails for months!! And the work was done very quickly!!

Ray and the entire team at RTP recently did a full roof replacement and replaced two skylights that were original to the home. They did an absolutely wonderful job, nice workers, very prompt and professional. I will say this, they weren't the cheapest bid I had, or the most expensive, but they knew their products well and were referred to me by a friend that uses them as their primary roofing contractor for a deck business. No wonder they use them, they were great. I loved the products they suggested I use, and actually I went out and did a bunch of research on my own and what they said about Malarkey roofing products was legitimate.

It took a while (almost 9 months) to get the materials but that has nothing to do with RTP, just material shortages in general. Once they had the product, they were quick to notify me and get the replacement started.

The workers were professional and courteous, and I really hoped they liked that every day I had cold waters and gatorade's and plenty of snacks around for them. Hard workers that do something I couldn't do, and shouldn't do, deserve it. I hope I don't need a roofer for a while, but if I do, I will call RTP. Thanks Ray and Team!

Ray and his team are Great. Ray came to my house to evaluate the damage from the tornado in June 2023. His assessment concluded that our roof was damaged due to a manufacturing defect in the shingles. I submitted a warranty claim with the manufacturer. Ray came back a second time to remove sample shingles, take photos and provide an estimate of replacing my roof. These items were then sent to the manufacturer as part of the warranty claim review. The manufacturer quickly honored my warranty claim and sent a settlement check to me to replace the roof shingles. Honesty, integrity and professionalism are my words to describe RTP roofing. I have also referred RTP to my family and friends when they need a professional roofing company. You will not be disappointed to hire RTP!

I called RTP roofing from a referral by a neighbor, because of a leak. Ray came out and inspected the roof and took pictures of the possible problems. Ray explained what he recommended as a fix. He proceeded to caulk the areas that were the possible problems. If I have future problems I will certainly call RTP to have them repair/replace my roof.

I highly recommend RTP Roofing! Ray, the owner, is super nice and informative. He diagnosed my issue very quickly and it was a small, easy fix. He didn't try to make it a bigger issue in order to inflate the price. It's so rare and nice to find a reliable contractor that you can trust, but Ray is one for sure. Very positive experience.

RTP Roofing was recommended to me by two friends years ago after they had new roofs installed, and they’ve been my “go to” roofing company ever since 2019. RTP has made roofing repairs, and replaced existing gutters and added new gutters for us.

They’re the first ones I call for any issues with my roof and gutters. Everyone at RTP has been excellent, and we’ve always been impressed with attention to detail and worksite cleanliness after the job is done.

We've used RTP since 2009 and I wouldn't use anyone else. Over the years they have worked on our roof, gutters and most recently, repaired a skylight leak. Super responsive and Ray came out to inspect the issue himself. (this skylight is original to the house) Ray sent his crew out to fix within a couple of days. They did a great job, shared pictures of the various stages of the repair. We are a customer for life.

RTP roofing was called in to seal the vents on our new water heater and furnace by our HVAC company. They did such a great job we asked them to install our new skylight and re-roof our kitchen area. I was inundated with slimy roofers once a Hail storm went through- everyone wanting down payments and sales guys with out of state license plates. I was referred to Ray (RTP) and found him to be highly ethical. I added a few terms to the contract and these guys did a great job - on time- cleaned up debris really well - great workmanship. As I look to my other neighbors I was happy that I had chosen a local contractor rather than the high speed foreign crews that install in rapid fire. It costs the same and was worth the effort to buy and employ local residents.

Amazing service and honesty. We called them out to take a look at a number of issues we were having and for all of them he offered his best advice, including DIY fixes and trying out drainage solutions before deciding, instead of trying to just make the sale. I called this company to get a second opinion, Mr. Phillips was so nice and very informative. Unfortunately I ended up going with the first company I called do to a mix up in communication. I just wanted to say how impressed I was with their service even though I ended up going with a different company. They really took the time to explain things and we're very quick to answer any questions and to get my estimate back. Needless to say if I ever need any work done again, these guys will be the first and only company I'll call.
