Roy Dennis Roofing

Previously I had Roy Dennis Roofing replace my roof with a torch on. This was nearly 15 years ago and it still is in good shape.
This time my sundeck had a water leak which was causing the water to leak to my garage and land on the hood of my classic car.
I spoke to Shayne about the issue and he came by a few hours later to assess the problem. He was very courteous and listened attentively when I explained the problem. He suggested a RC2000 patch in the affected area.
Exactly 3 days later when the rain had stopped, his crew showed up. I was impressed by the prompt service.
Both of the employees(Eddie and Holly) were well mannered and skillful. As soon as they finished, they came to the front door to let me know the job was complete.
The next night we had another downpour and the garage was bone dry!

Very pleased with this company.After having another company fail to address and repair the leaks,I called Roy Dennis Roofing.Within days,we were provided an assessment and quote.The guys were punctual, efficient and friendly,very informative as well.Would highly recommend!

While the crew are nice and efficient, their quoted timeframes are not reliable. Our roof replacement date got delayed several times throughout the summer and ended up happening almost three months after the original planned date.

In addition, they left the place a mess after the job was complete. We spoke with their PM who assured us that someone would come by to clean up the debris, but no one ever did. My husband and I needed to use long poles to knock huge pieces of shingles out of all the trees and bushes on our property (two giant garbage bags worth).

They boarded up my patio area with mo notice , broke my greenhouse tarp and my flower pots and despite multiple attempts to discuss the issue have offered no replacement or recompense

In comment to your response...no negligence are you kidding? They threw a cable through my greenhouse tarp, which no is not an annual expense l, it's one I bought in Sweden 7 years ago. As my roof wasn't being done, there was no reason to think I'd be affected and then to just come and board it up without speaking to me was completely disrespectful. Perhaps I just have higher standards of common decency than your company does. Your response really angers me.

As a tenant experiencing this company they’re terrible. They turned up without warning and started stomping around on the roof, actually jumping and stumbling around, slamming heavy objects down on it, along with the use of heavy power tools and hammering. This went on for hours. The landlord claims that they never settled on a date, they just turned up. If we had had notice we could have arranged to be out for the day.

This level of noise is devastating for someone who has a hearing related injury that causes chronic pain and ptsd responses, which the landlord knows about. It also terrified the pets and they are still in a state of shock from the sheer amount of noise today.

The fact that they cannot arrange to adhere to a schedule should speak for a lack of professionalism, and from the way people were jumping about on the roof I’d want to inspect it for any new damage done to tiles. If you are someone who would need to prepare in advance for this level of noise you would want to consider against a company that will not give you notice.

RDR was hired to undertake an asphalt shingle re-roof of a studio in less than ideal conditions with limited access. They did a great job, and I am satisfied. For me, they will be my go-to roofing company for my next re-roof. Highly recommended.

They stopped to help us fix a flat tire in the middle of the bridge even though they didn’t need to!!! They were also VERY quick and precise, which speaks to their workmanship Very professional but still genuinely kind human beings. Thank you Dean and Kwan!!!!!

I have now had Roy Dennis replace two of my roofs. I am very satisfied with their workmanship, customer service and pricing. I would highly recommend them.

Saw a small leak, my e-mail went out at 10:00 am followed by a quick call. Thought that with the cold weather it could be a day or two to get the matter looked at. NO! Shortly a crew of two showed up and they were finished by noon. It does not get any better than that!

The work included removal and replacement of old torch-on as well as installation of custom metal flashing. The job looks great, and nary a drop gets through. We had a moisture issue in our ceiling drywall. I called Roy Dennis Roofing and an inspection was quickly arranged. The scope of the work was explained in detail along with pictures of the repairs required. The repair was carried out efficiently and the bill was exactly as quoted. The crew showed detailed pictures of the repairs carried out.

5+ Stars! Roy Dennis Roofing came through when my original roofer couldn’t.

3 months waiting for my original roofer and my wife was done. The company needed 5 dry days to install a torch-on roof. 5 dry days during Vancouver’s rainy season is next to impossible.

Called Shayne at RDR and his crew of 7 had my roof done in 3 days. Shayne turned mission impossible to mission possible.

Roy Dennis did a small but difficult replacement of a flat roof over our carport that serves as an upstairs deck. The job involved taking the floating wood deck off the roof (4 panels had to be cut in half to do that) , taking off 2 layers of old roof, torching on a new roof, replacing flashings and drain pipes and putting back the wood deck. The crew worked hard, did a great job and left the site cleaner than when they started. The price was reasonable too.

Initially I had repair of a small roof leak and an inspection. I was so impressed with the professionalism of everyone I encountered that I went ahead with a roof replacement. Workers arrived on time, completed the job efficiently and left my yard and garden clean and intact. The new roof looks great. I would highly recommend Roy Dennis Roofing.

This company really came through and helped us when our roof was leaking!! (The other company that we used 14 years ago to redo our entire roof, refused to even come out and tarp our roof as they were 'too busy'). RDR were polite, true to their word, reliable and thorough. They came out the day after we contacted and tarped our roof, as a twmporary meadure til the weather cooperated for a proper and thorough repair. Thankyou RDR!!

I was in a serious jam with sudden water pouring in through a failure on my roof and within a couple hours they were able to scramble a crew to me. Dean was my first point of contact and the level of care and detailed explanation of what was happening and what he did was informative. Every single question I had he gave me the time of day, whether it was in person, via text or a phone conversation.

I've been trying to find the source of a leak we've had for a few years. I believed it was coming from the roof through the house and onto the window frame where it would sometimes leak through. One contractor told me it was the way my gutters were mounted. Another contractor told me it was the window itself that was not sealed properly. I contacted Roy Dennis Roofing and Matt came out to take a look. After discussing it he went onto the roof to inspect. Within a few minutes and with his expertise, he found the source! Definitely the roof where 2 sections of our house joined. Simple. I was impressed with that. He told me his crew could be out next week sometime and that I didn't need to be home. A couple of days later I got a voice message from Matt saying he had already come by and did the repair himself!
