It was very unfortunate that we had to replace our 10 year old roof. We contacted several companies and decided to go with Crown Roofing. They had competitive pricing, good customer service, and excellent reviews here on Google. Here is our experience:
Pricing: We did gather a few quotes. Crown roofing was competitive.
Customer service: Jason came out the next day after I called. He took the time to look in the attic and went up on the roof. He took pictures and videos to show me the issues (poor workmanship such as low nailing, underdriven and overdriven nails). He put together a proposal in a couple of days. They started a few days after the contract was signed. Jason and Chris always responded my texts and emails promptly and professionally.
Re-roofing work:
The whole project took about 2 weeks. It was delayed by the snow. The crew worked through the cold weather. They were polite and professional. They worked hard from 8am until sundown. They inspected our ventilation as well. It turns out there was probably a ventilation problem on top of the poor workmanship. The soffits were blocked with insulation. The crew cleared the blockage. The completed roof work was inpected by an independent company (included in pricing) and the report says roof was installed properly.
Warranty:
Crown roofing provided the longest warranty, 30 years workmanship.

Hopefully, we will be in good shape for years to come. We would definitely recommend Crown Roofing to friends or family.

We had our roof replaced on March 2024 and the work was completed within the budget and schedule. The communication with Jason, Mat, and the crew on site was excellent and the work performed with care and professionalism. I used to work from home and the disruptions were small. The site was prepared and the work done in stages in accordance with the weather conditions to avoid keeping exposed roof areas to the weather. The site was cleaned after the work and was delivered in equal or better conditions as before starting the job. I also lived in a cul-de-sac shared with other four neighbors and we did not received any comment or complaint during or after the works. We highly recommend the Crown Roofing Team. Crown replaced our sloped shingled roof, gutters and two flat roofs with torch on membrane. Excellent work and excellent crew. They are interested in a well done job - as an example, they noted that the bathroom fans were venting through the soffit and corrected that and re-directed the vents through the roof. Their work was in marked contrast to the previous roofers. We are now having them install gutter screens. Very happy with their work.

We hired Crown roofing to clean the roof, and replace the gutters on my dad's home, who is nearing retirement. They came to his house, and fully explained both the required work, and materials required and their respective costs. We received our quote within a day, as well as their certifications and manufacture's warranties. Upon my dads go ahead the job was done on the first day, and wrapped up with full clean up on the second. We would not hesitate to use Crown again in the future.

Crown Roofing has completed shingled and flat (torch on) roofs as well as large and small skylights for my properties over the last 20 years. Their workmanship is excellent and they have staff with a great communication abilities. I wouldn't consider anyone else to do such important work.

I'm so happy that we went with Crown Roofing when we needed to get a new roof for our house and detached garage. I run a rabbit rescue in my garage and it had started leaking really badly with the lazt big rain fall. They made time for us in their busy schedule to fit us in before the next rain. They were professional, friendly, and communicated with me the entire time. They completed the job within 3 days, they were literally finishing up as the rain started falling. They were trying to make sure to complete it to make sure that the bunnies were safe and dry which I can think them enough! I would highly recommend them!

Crown Roofing did a great job for replacing my new roof last year , even it was in November which was cold , they finished the work . I would highly recommend their high quality service.

We’ve been having issues with some water leaking inside the house near our chimney and suspected the flashing had gone bad.
After contacting Crown Roofing in early August, Matthew came the same day to check out the situation. He was one of the few people we contacted who actually went onto the roof, he confirmed that it looks like the flashing needs to be fixed. He was even kind enough to tell me the condition of the roof and that it can last another couple of years.
On the day of the job Matthew was punctual and completed the work in a clean and efficient manner. He even waved at my family as they were leaving the house! Writing this review weeks later after some heavy rain and no leaks! Safe to say Matthew and this company are very professional, and I can recommend them without hesitation.

We are very pleased with the work Crown Roofing Ltd. has done for us in the past. They installed a new roof and skylights for us in June. The installation was expertly done; their workmanship is top notch and is backed by a 25-year warranty. They go above and beyond to do a quality job with quality products.
You can see from the photos that quality aluminum vents were installed. In addition to the underlayment, peel and stick membrane was added on the edges for extra protection.The chimney and the skylight flashing was installed with impeccable workmanship, and it looks beautiful.
We did get some quotes from other companies. Crown’s pricing was competitive. It wasn’t the highest or the lowest.
In the end, we knew we could trust Jason and his team to do a quality job, and that peace of mind is really important to us. (Jason did our carport and shed 15 years ago and they are still in great shape). Furthermore, Jason and his staff are very professional, pleasant and reliable.

Getting a roof is not an expense or experience I enjoy but I want it done right. I have dealt with Jason and his Crown team for 2 separate homes (this week and 10 years ago) and they are exceptional. Very fair price, on time, a well managed project with clear communication and no hidden bs that other companies hit you with once the roof is ripped off (no pun intended). Excellent quality job, attention to detail and very clean site once the job was done. The fact that I was able to call Crown 10 years after the first roof and deal with Jason and his team again speaks volumes about his reputation in an industry that is full of scammers. The company reroofed the home next door to mine this week and I was really impressed with the efficiency, courtesy of the guys and the final result. The roof looks amazing. Highly recommended. We needed to replace our 30+ year old cedar shingle roof and gutters. After considering several proposals, we decided to go with the premium asphalt shingle recommended by Crown Roofing. The quoted price was competitive, and the warranty is excellent. The appearance of the new roof is close to that of our original cedar shingle roof, especially given the difference in cost. The crew was able to start the job quickly, almost a week earlier than originally scheduled. Although we have a very small lot with almost every square foot covered with landscaping, the crew did a fabulous job of ensuring there was no damage while removing the old roof and gutters and installing the new roof. The detritus was cleaned up daily and our property was restored to its original condition upon completion of the job. I want to particularly compliment the crew for their efficient, friendly and dedicated work, even when the weather was less than ideal. I can easily and heartily recommend Crown Roofing.

Crown Roofing replaced the roofs of two of our strata heritage buildings in early 2024, along with a deck membrane replacement. They were exceptionally professional throughout the entire process - from quoting the job, to execution of the work, and warrantying their work. This is a long term review for Crown Roofing, who replaced the roof on my house in 2014. The house was 21 years old at the time and had cedar shake roofing that was deteriorating. As a GAF Master Elite certified installer, Crown was able to offer a 50 year warranty on Timberline shingle roofing. This is especially meaningful when it's backed up by a company has been around for as long as they have.

The crew was very professional and completed the work in a neat and tidy manner, never getting in the way. The work was completed smoothly, on time and within budget, and was certified by an independent inspector upon completion. After ten years in service, the roof still looks great and is performing well.

Had Crown Roofing give me a price, which was more detailed than another price I had and when compared apples to apples was close. Crown had all the certifications and warranty information I needed to see, could handle the slightly odd details my New West roof had, and could start super quickly.

Earlier this Spring Crown roofing redid our carport and large shed roofing. We had our roof, skylight and gutters all replaced just in the past week with final inspection by a third party company with inspection report and photo.
There was a bit of concerns at the beginning of how smooth the job is going as it is quite a major job involving a lot of work and more importantly it is a lot of money to us, I am now happy that the job is done smoothly and to our expectation, I would say Crown Roofing has done a pretty good and reliable job, their crew on site work very closely together and professionally, also keeping the site clean at the end of each day of work, keep minimum to no interference to our neighbours, site manager Matthew monitors the progress each day and meet with us giving us update, Matthew is also quick responding to each of my email and call of any questions, very responsive and professional.

Crown Roofing did a great job with my parents' roof. The house is old and will be pulled down in the next ten years, so we didn't want to pay for a full-meal-deal (i.e. brand new roof with 30 year warranty) if we didn't need it. Crown offered us options that seemed reasonable. They fitted us in (a small job) within a couple of weeks, communicated well throughout and did a nice job.

We needed to replace our old roof that was concrete roof tile. We contacted Crown Roofing, and they were quick to respond and come out to review the roof and other details. When first on site they were well prepared and already had most of the dimensions from a satellite view. We reviewed our concern items like rotted facias and barge board and replacing our gutters.
The quote came quickly, and everything was priced out including the different options and left no pricing or scope uncertainty. The quote was competitive and complete. GAF products were offered including a very good material and labor warranty. The payment terms were excellent and favors the homeowners. Reference lists, insurance coverage was also provided.
The team installing the roof were professional, cleaned up constantly and worked swiftly throughout the project. There is a project manager contact that interfaces with you even when you are not home to make sure you are kept up to date with the plan and progress. There was a lot of work and the team worked hard and were very pleasant to have on site. Any questions were answered throughout the project and they thought through everything.
We had them replace the concrete tiles with GAF Ultra HDZ shingles, comes with the Golden Pledge Warranty. They also replaced rotted facias, barge boards including painting them to match existing trim. Gutters, downspouts were replaced and we had them add a leaf screen to the gutters. Skylights were also replaced. The entire completed project looks amazing, craftmanship was excellent. All exposed wood was flashed so there is no worry of leakage or future rotting. There was no outsourcing of work, the same crew did all of the work so it was good to see familiar faces throughout the project.

They were willing to add our entryway roof at very little expense. They also set a price which did not change for the six months wait for reliable weather. Crown Roofing installed the GAF Grand Canyon Mission Brown Shingles for our home. Mathew was there everyday to check on the progress, and would communicate either through telephone or email. Even minor details will be looked at.

The first day at my home, they set up their safety harnesses first. Mathew debriefed about safety guidelines, and notifications were all posted on the fence.

Crown replaced our cedar shingle roof with asphalt this spring. The quote on the cost was done the fall before. They stuck to the price which was nice as the price of wood really soared over the winter and the whole roof needed to have plywood added. The guys showed up early, stayed late and worked hard. I don't see how the job could have been done any faster. There was a bit of damage to a fountain which they took full responsibility for and replaced so couldn't ask for more than that. Overall a great job and I would highly recommend them.
