Nick and his crew were outstanding to deal with. Nick came out and assessed my roof after I found a leak. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He spent the time answering any questions I had and explained the entire process from ripping the roof, to the specific materials that were right for my needs. He was also very prompt, after deciding to go with Nick, my materials arrived the very next day and within 48 hours I had a new roof. Nick or a project manager was at the job site for the entirety of the project and answered any questions I had along the way. Nick also inspected the entire roof after the job was complete. I can’t speak highly enough about his team. When they arrived, they spent about 15 minutes assessing the job and then began laying tarps to protect my house and belongings and worked in step with each other like a well-oiled machine until the job was done. The cleanup was also amazing, you would never even have known they were there when they were finished. After assessing a half dozen roofing contractors, I can say that Nick was top notch, and his pricing is extremely competitive. This experience was one of the best I have had with a contractor performing work at my house. I would highly recommend Nick and his crew for your roofing needs.

Called roofing and home solutions on Thursday am Nick said he was 9 min away , came to my home said you need a new roof 40 year old .Says drop off material fri Saturday we have roof done by end of day and it happened just like that .Pete

They just installed my standing seam metal roof on a heavy timber roofed structure. There was great difficulty, as Eversource ran over the roofing just before it was to be installed, but they suffered through Eversource's month+ of BS and got it done.

Extremely professional and courteous services form start to finish. The quality of work as well as care provided was implacable! The roof was done in half the time as I had thought and the grounds left spotless. Clearly explained the plan, and accomplished a full roof replacement in a little less than 1.5 days. Assured me that any problems with the install, he'll be right out, but I have had none so far. Clean up was good, many other contractors I've dealt with left nails and debris for much smaller jobs.

Roofing and Home Solutions was an excellent sub contractor. Worked with them as part of a new construction house. They did some roof framing as well as full install of asphalt shingle roof, two skylights. Communication was easy, clear, and fast. The bid was lower than most competitors, and work was fast, on-time, used quality materials, and workmanship was good. Tricky kick-out and step flashing details were well done. Workers on site were professional and cleaned up the site before leaving. On time, high quality, under-budget results. Will definitely work with RHS in the future.

it took me about 2.5 years to find a roofing company I felt comfortable with. After talking to Nick it was clear we had to go with RHS. The top three things I look for in a contractor are, great communication, quality work, and work done on time. With Nick and RHS I received all three. Among some other great qualities as well. Communication leading up to the job was excellent, and communication during the job was excellent. The onsite foreman was great. He answered and addressed all questions and concerns I had. I've lived in my house for about 7 years now, so seeing the roof striped of old shingles and being able to see parts of my house I have never seen before was interesting. And I was able to put to bed alot of questions and concerns I had. When the job was done, the foreman asked if I wanted to take another look around. Even after all of my questions throughout the job. I never felt rushed, or hurried. It was one of the best contractor experiences I have had. Nick also referred a great gutter installer. And that went smoothly as well. If you need roof work done or a complete new install, no question - Go with RHS. quality work done on time, at a great price.

I purchased my first foreclosed house not knowing much about the rehab process. Nick and his crew are the best in the business by far - reasonably priced, and done in a great timeframe. Found out I had more rot in the old roof than originally thought, he personally drove to purchase extra supplies and install them same-day. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Called on a Wednesday, had a quote by the same day. Gave a deposit on Wednesday, Thursday they dropped of the dumpster Friday they finished the roof. Nick Mandes and his experienced crew at RHS did a spectacular job on our family's home in Westerly RI, installing a fine new rubber membrane roof under tight time pressure. Nick gave us exceptional professionalism, creativity, and responsiveness throughout this somewhat intricate process--from giving us a fast initial estimate, engineering a much more complex roof design alternative that we requested, and then completing the work on time. We could not be more impressed with Nick's service, or more pleased with the final result. Our house had a flat roof that was plagued with water pooling and therefore leaks over the years. Nick worked very hard and fast, pulling in engineering consultants as needed, to devise a reliable, attractive slightly pitched roof design, preserving the modern house architecture, but dramatically improving the drainage off the roof. This new subtly pitched design will give us far more peace of mind and longevity from this new EPDM roof, while also providing far more insulation to reduce our heating and cooling bills. Nick is extremely creative, knowledgeable and trustworthy, and very competitive in his pricing. You can not go wrong with using him and his experienced crew.

Haven’t done any checking as to value or quality yet but all I knew was I needed a roof fixed and I needed it in a hurry. Nick showed up when he said he would and got his crew here to do the job on a Sunday in between rain days. Crew was non stop till the job was done. After dealing with no shows and no call backs, I was so relieved to have someone who took pride in following through. Can’t say enough about them. So glad I “found” them. Only wish I had called them first. Nick’s the best!

I hired Nick to replace the roof my house back in October. He gave me a very competitive quote, explained exactly what they would, and suggested I upgrade the weather shield since the house is along the coast. His crew showed up as promised, stripped the old roof, and installed the new one. On the back of the house I have a flat roof that was rolled asphalt and they put down a rubber roof. Looks much better. They did a fantastic job cleaning up. I have not found one nail.

Two days after the install a nor'easter came through with rain and 50+ mph winds. Some of the shingles came off the ridge vent during the storm. I called Nick and he sent someone over the next day to replace them. Two more storms have come through with no problems. Thanks Nick!

We had Nick and his team install a new roof and gutters on our historic home. It was a difficult job - very high off the ground, complex roof line, and small city lot with very limited access. It also had five layers of previous roof! His team was efficient, hard-working, and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. The roof and gutters look beautiful.
