A ridge cap on my rental house was damaged in a wind storm. I called Roof Top who was able to send out a crew within 48 hours, and repaired the damage within one hour of arrival. Although there was a minimum charge, the cost was well worth the premium to avoid water damage to the home.

Service was completed promptly and competently with before and after pictures as exterior work was completed while I was away. When I requested more detailed invoice for personal records, it was done within 24 hrs. Would recommend.

It's uncommon to find services that exceed expectaions. RTS identified roofing and fascia problems, gave quotes to fix and did an excellent job. Our roof is better than brand new!

We had Roof Top Services take down two leaky cinder block chimneys (no longer in use) to below the roofline and then roof over them. The quote was very reasonable for the work involved. Donny, the estimator, was professional and friendly (no pressure). The crew that came to do the work were very courteous and did excellent work, minimizing any debris that could have fallen into the attic, and being very careful to avoid damage to the surrounding roof and solar panels. I was impressed with their attention to detail. A+ for these guys. This is the second time we have seen Roof Top Services in action, and we will use Roof Top again if we have further roofing needs.

An amazing experience from the first inquiry call to the estimate to the job and the inspection after the job was completed. Everyone was professional and they did an wonderful job. After inspecting our issue with rotted fascia boards caused by improperly placed gutters, we hired Roof Top Services to do the repair work. They arrived promptly on work day and completed all work that same day. The workers were very courteous and left the area clean and neat. Roof Top Services is definitely a top notch outfit. I had water stains on my bedroom ceiling from what turned out to be a tear in one of the exhaust pipe boots on my roof. David was able to come out within a week to provide an estimate and make a temporary repair to stop the leak as well as identify several spots of torn shingles needing replacement. The Roof Top crew came out within several weeks to replace all 4 my roof boots and the damaged shingles. Alex and his partner did an amazing job, fully cleaned the work site when done and completed the job within the original estimate. I highly recommend this outfit that was referred to me by my handyman Joe N. On top of it all, they give a 10% discount to active military and veterans in appreciation for their service. Wow!

We had an unexpected, and urgent, roofing need after a branch pierced our roof and rain was 100% forecasted in less than 48 hours. Roof Top assured us that would be able to remove the branch and secure the roof before the rain came, even if the repair needed to be scheduled for later; which was a big relief. Been a few years since I got my roof on my home replaced but forgot to review. Just wish they did rafter repairs when I needed work done on the house I grew up in. Roof Top Services are top notch. Very easy to deal with when I met for estimate he was very friendly. He explained the process and said they would come out replace roof and gutters in a day and kept his promise was done within a week of signing contract. Their guys do quality work and respect my house and made sure to clean up very well after work was complete. Have and will continue to recommend them when people ask if I know any good roofers.

We would like to thank Roof Top Services for the great job they did reroofing our home. Our roof is large, complex, and has 3 skylights. Under Corbin Gunsallus’s guidance, the team of 20 landed on our roof on a Monday at 7am and on Tuesday by 5pm our roof was done, they were cleaned up, and gone. The team was amazing! They were pleasant to us and each other, they didn’t smoke or take telephone breaks, and they were each highly skilled at their various jobs. They removed old attic ventilator fans, replaced the sheathing where the fans had been, and ventilated our attic through the various ridgelines, as is the best practice for venting our attic. They replaced our skylights and installed factory flashing kits for each to ensure they would not leak. They also replaced all plumbing vent collars and exhaust blower vent hoods. They also replaced trim boards in extremely hard places to reach under the eaves of our dormers. They were respectful of our plants and protected those that were vulnerable. They cleaned up debris as they went and left our yard sparkling clean. We give them our highest recommendation possible! (One thing we admired about RTS is that RTS provided lunch for the team so the team could stay on site and truly relax during their lunch hour. What they do is very physically demanding, for sure!)

Everything about my roof replacement project went exactly as predicted by Roof Top Services. The personal and very professional human contact with the client is exceptional--from the estimator, to the project lead, the workers and the final inspection. I was informed in detail and with photos exactly what to expect and what the workers themselves would be doing. The workers were well supervised, polite, and did a great job with the installation and the clean-up. And the final inspection occurred the next day. I feel the materials used are excellent quality with an excellent warranty and the quality of the installation done by Roof Top Services provides me with an excellent value for my money along with another excellent warranty.

When I called to make an appointment to have my skylight checked for a leak, I was pleased to find out that the company provides free estimates. The courteous lady on the phone told me the company's procedures and guidelines and that someone would call me in three days. I was so pleased that the call to me was well within the three days. An appointment was made to have the skylight checked for needed repair or replacement. Currently, I am awaiting the results of the pictures taken and the inspection that was done to both skylights and the necessary work to be done. The person was on time for my appointment and very courteous. He explained everything that would need to be done that day and what and how a determination would follow. Thus far, I am very pleased.

We have used Rooftop on numerous projects and they are as good as it gets. John and Wilmer are both top notch, honorable men and will make sure the job is done right. The crews also show up on time, work hard, and are friendly if you have questions while they are working. Very well run business!!

Corbin and his crew did an outstanding job tearing off the old roof, using some new boards to replace some rotted ones, and finally putting on GAF Timberline HDZ oyster grey shingles. The roof is beautiful!

Rooftop installed a new metal roof for us on a large building in the historic district. They helped us navigate the approval process with the City’s BAR and gave suggestions to improve the general appearance. We were always informed about their schedule. Although the job took some time, the grounds were kept clean and the inconvenience for the residents was minimal. Each question or concern was immediately addressed by the project manager to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the quality and the result of the work.

We are very pleased with Rooftop Services! They have been servicing our shingle roof for the past eight years with repairs every two years to extend the life as long as possible. We were able to get three prices and Rooftop was very competitive. They were able to replace our roof in one day even though it’s four stories on the backside and access was very difficult. We recently had Roof Top Services LLC come and strip off an extremely old roof and replace it with a brand new, top quality roof and put gutters around the entire house. We are amazed and thankful for everything that RTS did for us. They had the entire project completed over a 2 day period. Everyone that we worked with was professional and thorough. The crew was professional, polite, and worked well together. Especially impressive was how they prepared our home The morning of the work to protect the windows and landscaping. The next impressive thing was the job that they did cleaning up. Extremely impressive. I also thought including photos with the final bill was very good documentation.

Upon inspection, he actually already had replacement shingles on hand based on other projects he's worked in my subdivision. We agreed on an estimate and he repaired my roof the same day in less than an hour. I found no nails or debris from his work and was impressed with his prompt, courteous service. I highly recommend them and plan to use Roof Top in the future for any needed roof repairs.

Roof Top Services took the time to explain their approach to the repair; provided photos of the repair before, during, and after; and followed-up with a quality control check to answer my questions. We asked for an estimate for a roof cleaning project. They came out, looked at the project, and said, "We'll get back to you." This was five days ago, and we've heard nothing. Our impression was that our project was "beneath them". But that does not excuse unprofessional behavior.

MTA: The owner of the company contacted us and told us the quote had been sent, and re-sent the quote. It had, of course, landed in my husband's spam folder. That's obviously no fault of the company, and they've clearly fulfilled their obligations to this point, so I'm updating the review.

Rooftop has worked on slate, shingles, Copper, chimney flashing and skylights for my various properties. Their communication and final work quality are always excellent. They stay busy and maintain a lengthy backlog at times, but they are well worth waiting for.

This is the second time I have used Roof Top Services for work on my roof (they replaced a skylight this time). Yes they are expensive, they will definitely not be the lowest bidder BUT they do a wonderful job, back up their work, and do what they say they are going to do within the time estimate given, which is a rare thing in Charlottesville. Considering the amount of damage that sloppy roofing work can cause they are well worth paying for.
