Our nearly 20 year old deck& pergola had reached its end, so I contacted several companies for a quote to replace both. J & A was one of the few that reached out to me in a timely manner. After our conversation, I decided to have them complete the work & I am glad I did. Keep in mind that they were not the least expensive quote, but I didn't want to make the mistake of just going with the lowest price, as that can often turn into a nightmare.

The previous layout was cramped and sub-optimal - the team did a great job helping demo the old layout, reconfigure the shower and storage space, and place a new vanity / toilet to make the bathroom far more usable and aesthetically pleasing. Not an easy install but Luis did a great job matching the pattern on all walls. The room looks striking. Installers shows up on time and left with everything cleaned up. Also, this job looks expensive but it was not.

We contracted J&A to come out an repair some drywall from a mold issue we had in the Winter, as well as to replace the old vinyl flooring in our basement bathroom with new tile. They even accommodated us with some touch up paint after the work was done. We will definitely be using them again for any and all home repair needs.

I've used J&A in the past for different painting and home improvement projects, but wanted to come on here and write a review of a recent experience. My husband and I moved into our new home in May and had no idea how to install all of the blinds we bought (embarrassing, I know). I picked up the phone and called J&A and lo and behold, they were happy to come install the blinds for us! In fact, the owner (John) personally came out and installed them on the entire first two levels of our home. He was in and out quickly, but also extremely efficient! Amazing customer service - highly recommend for all of your home improvement and painting needs!

I could not ask for a better job. I have a tray ceiling that had an ugly 16”x 16” return register that had been installed when our house was built. I had it relocated, and the task was to patch and paint over the entire ceiling. The two painters were on time, took care to completely protect window treatments,, all furniture, and the cherry flooring. They not only did an outstanding job of patching, they also found other ceiling cracks and repaired those before painting the ceiling. They were finished in 6 hours after a complete and spotless cleanup. Outstanding!

Love J & A Painting, the workmanship is incomparable to anyone else in the area. I had my whole house and deck repainted and it is picture perfect. Very professional, very personable. We have always used J & A and always refer them to family and friends. If you want a quality paint job then these are the guys.

After doing a great job painting the exterior of our house two years ago, we hired J&A Painting to do our interiors. They just finished this very large job, and we couldn't be happier with the care and quality of their work. 2/15/2018 - J&A came back to paint a bonus room above my garage and patch a few drywall areas around the house. They did a great job filling the nail holes on the shiplap and then painting the space, looks really good. The guys also did a great job repairing some of the drywall spots. I’d use them again in a heartbeat for my drywall and painting needs.

Original review: J&A painting did a great job dry walling and painting my house in Ivy. Peak Builders used J&A Painting so initially I didn't have much direct contact with John but got to enjoy their handy work in the latter part of the building process and after moving in. After moving in we had a few defects in some doors which were replaced under warranty but that gave John and his team an opportunity to come back out to paint/stain while I was there and I got to meet them. They did an absolute awesome job not only getting the work done to high standards but also communicating their schedule and making sure the work area was clean when they left. I understand Peak has used J&A for awhile now and as a builder I'm sure you quickly learn who is a reliable and qualified trade partner. My experience with J&A and the relationship with Peak is a pretty good indication of how they operate.
