Josh at RoofPro Local was an absolute pro to work with! From start to finish, the project was handled exceptionally well. As a former property claims manager for a large insurance carrier, I know I can be a bit difficult to work with. But Josh made the entire process so easy. The quality and speed in which the roof, gutters, and paint were completed was exceptional! I highly recommend RoofPro.

Been a contractor for 45 years, never treated anyone like they treated me , came by spent maybe 5 minutes gave them all measurement's and information they needed told them about the raccoon damage and holes in roof , never heard back from them. Didn’t care about the condition of my roof or the health issues with my handicapped wife with lung issues or the fact I was lifetime ou fan . I would suggest the Stoops might want to consider a different company to indorse!

Roof Pro Local - What a Bunch of Malarkey!

On September 24th, 2024, we experienced our first major hailstorm in Oklahoma. In just 10 minutes, the hail damaged every roof over several blocks. I learned that the average lifespan of a roof in Oklahoma is 7 to 8 years, primarily due to hailstorms. In the four years we had lived here, we had not experienced any damaging hail, but in 2023, the city of Norman faced grapefruit-sized hail that not only pierced roofs but also damaged every car parked outside. This event made it clear to me that hail is a serious issue in Oklahoma.

Within an hour of the hailstorm, roofers canvassed the neighborhoods, handing out their cards and making various promises. My neighbors began contacting their insurance companies to file claims for the roof damage, and I followed suit by reaching out to my insurance agent, Lance, at Brandon Rondon Insurance. Lance dispatched a representative from Roof Pro Local, a roofer they work with and recommend. Josh, a representative from Roof Pro Local, came to assess the damage to our roof. Lance also contacted my homeowner’s insurance company, Openly, to file the claim.

From start to finish, Josh was there at every step. He and the insurance adjuster explained the extent of the hail damage, which I had not fully understood before their assessment. Josh informed us that they use shingles from a locally manufactured company called Malarkey, rather than the industry standard from GAF. Malarkey produces some of the best high-impact shingles in Oklahoma, a necessity given the frequent roof replacements in the state.

The roofers did an excellent job. They worked in perfect harmony, with one team removing the old shingles while another cleaned up the debris. The supervisor in charge even went into our attic to ensure that no vital hoses, gas lines, or air conditioning ducts would be affected by the nails used. Since my roof was 10 years old, it needed an overlay of wood installed on top of the existing structure to meet code requirements. As shown in the photos, multiple sheets of plywood were carried up and secured to our roof. The roofing process was nearly completed in one day, but they ran out of daylight. The next morning, they finished the roofing work and thoroughly cleaned the entire perimeter, making sure no shingles or nails were left behind.

Two days later, Josh sent out the gutter team to install new gutters, which matched our color scheme almost perfectly. They did a fantastic job and even added an extra downspout due to the size of our roof. A few days after the gutters were installed, we experienced a rainstorm and noticed a leak at one of the corner seams. I informed Josh, and he sent the gutter team back out to seal that area. Since then, during another rainstorm, that area no longer leaked.

Heath from The Fireplace Guys also came out to install a new chimney top damaged by hail.

As mentioned earlier, my homeowner's insurance is with Openly. From the moment they received the claim to the final closure of the case, they addressed our every need and covered all costs except for the deductible. This experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Roof Pro Local. While they use Malarkey shingles, there is no malarkey with this company. I'm appending this review because I have more to say about this company and about Josh specifically. Since I wrote the above review, we have had, in central Oklahoma, the strongest winds not associated with a storm maybe ever in our history. When I tell you my roof didn't budge an INCH through it all...and this is TWO years after the work Josh initially did. We've had our roof patched and fixed many times before Josh came around, and wind half as strong as what we've just experienced would chew up the work. Only Roof Pro Local, and specifically Josh's work, has stood.

We've only had ONE issue since Josh and Roof Pro Local fixed our roof, and it wasn't roof related. We needed a door fixed while the roof was being done and they sub-contracted out the work, but there was an issue with the lock a year later. I called Josh and the issue, which wasn't his company's issue directly, was fixed within just HOURS---free. The stereotype of roofers, in my experience, is well deserved because of what I've been through with them...that has completely changed because of Roof Pro Local and Josh.

My home was damaged significantly from a bad hail storm in April. Mike R. was amazing! He took care of me & my insurance company's paperwork. Things were handled in a very professional way. My roof, guttering, eves, shutters & window glasses were fixed & I've been very pleased with the work from Roof Pro Local & the people they contacted with. There were even branches cut away from the roof & he hauled them off! We used roof pro to replace our damaged roof. They did an excellent job from tear out to completion and it only took them two days. One of the workers hit our gas line with a nail gun (our gas heater was new and apparently the line was ran through the roof... who knew‍♀️). Roof Pro Local was very quick to address the issue and put us up in a hotel (because it was VERY frigid outside still). They even called the gas company for us and got a plumber out to fix it. We didn't have to do anything. Bruce especially was great to work with. He also kept working with our insurance company to ensure all of the costs were covered. Our insurance company was being a little picky about some things but Bruce stuck with it. I would use this company in a heart beat. Fast, friendly and most of all, they take care of their customers.

I needed a couple of roof turbines replaced and had used this company before for a roof repair and was impressed with them. They responded quickly by sending out installers with the two turbines. They put ice shield all the way around the edges of the home including the valleys to protect against the elements. Very thankful they did because of the Winter we just had. I highly recommend them.

Mike and David far exceeded our expectations on getting our roof fixed. We originally had another roofing company slated to “fix” our roof. A tree fell on our roof during a huge Oklahoma storm, high winds, rain and hail, and the “other guys” said they can only get approval to fix the holes. A month and a half go by with lots of avoided calls or excuses on why they can’t fix it. Bottom line is they wanted more money. We’re seniors and are on a fixed income so we couldn’t afford to pay more out of pocket. Thankfully we found Roof Pro Local. They came and inspected our roof with no obligation and free of charge. They were on the roof less than a minute and they said “there’s so much hail damage up here along with the holes in your roof, you need a new roof”. They were very upset that we had been left for almost 6 weeks with 2 holes in our roof that were just covered with a tarp. We decided to fire the other company and hire Mike and David. Within 3 weeks of hiring them we finally got a new roof! They finished the job in one day which is amazing! They took all the stress of dealing with the insurance company off our shoulders and handled everything for us. We went from getting holes fixed to getting a brand new impact resistant, high quality roof on our home! I would recommend them to everyone I know! Roof Pro put a roof on our home and the church I pastor. We've never had a problem with either and if we call with a question, they are there within 24 hours.
