Roof Moss Gone

Discussed my project with Dan, one of the owners, he consulted me in detail on different options for roof moss removal (both mechanical and chemical) so it was easier to make a decision to proceed with. This is a local, marines veteran-owned business serving our communities, highly recommend!

We had Aaron clean the roof of moss and algae. We had only minor moss issues but wanted to stay ahead of it. Aaron came and sprayed down the roof and it killed all the moss very quickly. However the dead moss was white and was cosmetically undesirable on the black shingles of the roof and we were not sure if it was under the shingles or not (we are not experts, obviously). We asked Aaron to come back and take a look and he came back and was able to very lightly scrape the dead moss off and show us that it was not causing any issues with intrusion under the shingles, so it was just ugly but not a real problem. Aaron took the time to show me and to explain why not brushing the roof on the initial visit was the right call, which was really nice. The only small issue we had was that our windows did get dirty from the gutter cleaning. They are dirtier than before the cleaning now (clearly splashed from the gutter spraying), but it’s not that bad and our gutters and roof are good, plus we did not pay for window washing. Photos are before, after initial visit, and after revisit.

Our technician came over the same day we requested an estimate and quoted a good price for all of the things we needed to address. Hand brushed the roof to get the moss off to keep the integrity of our shingles. Applied an agent to make sure moss doesn't come back, and cleaned the gutters. Throughly cleaned the debris left from the roof off the ground. He even powerwashed the our front and back walkways for a great price. He explained how to keep moss from building up in the future. Roof Moss Gone, LLC, Aaron, did a good job removing moss from our tile roof. It is the first time I’ve ever needed this service. Aaron came quickly to give me a bid, discussed the method he uses, and then scheduled the job two weeks out. He was professional and hard-working. First, he used a wire brush to remove the moss then blew off the loose moss and applied a liquid solution to kill the moss. His pricing came in less than other bids. I would use Roof Moss Gone, LLC again.

Great job cleaning and treating our roof, sheds and playhouse. Also treated and cleaned the exterior surfaces of our gutters which were dirty and mossy, they look totally restored. Everything was cleaned up, and the price was fair. Would definitely use them again.

Aaron did an excellent job cleaning my roof which was long overdue for a cleaning. See the before and after photos. He also did power washing for my concrete patio, walkways, and paver driveway. I needed my roof professionally cleaned from years of moss buildup with having so many large trees. Aaron came in and took care of it and now the roof looks like new. This is a veteran and family owned and operated business. They fit me into there schedule, at a time that was better for me than probably for them. The owner came out on schedule on one of the worst raining days of the month. I would have fully understood if he wanted to reschedule on this dark horrible weather day. But he did the work that I needed, and a very fine job at that. I would highly recommend this family business for anyone that has a moss issue like I did. They use a soft wash which is so much better then just pressure washing which I have had done in the past by another company, and caused some roof damage. Please give this business a shot if you are in need of there type of service.

The owner wife was so nice. The quote was really reasonable priced. Messaging and calling was responsive. I had my roof and gutter cleaned. The roof was cleaned by blower and brushed off any mode clumps. The roof was never pressure washed. I had my drive treated for moss and then slightly pressure wash. The front and rear wood porch was chemically treated for any moss and then pressure washed. The roof, driveway, and front/rear porch look amazing. I would used them again in the future.
