I had a small roofing job that needed to be done and I got Marcel's name of Roger Vandersteen Roofing from the Next Door app. Then a short time later it was apparent that we needed a major roofing project which included removing solar panels, taking the shingles completely off and even replacing some on the roof plywood. The second job was not the same part of the roof as the first, but I was really glad to have Roger Vendersteen"s number ready to go. I got a bid for the first job from another roofer and it was exactly $1000.00 higher.

Very professional and they did my whole roof in a day and a half. The price was very affordable and they did a good job of cleaning up after. I would highly recommend this company and Marcel who was great to work with.

After getting a few bids from bigger companies Vandersteen Roofing offered me the same quality shingles and extras the bigger companies offered only thousands of dollars less. Work was done to my satisfaction.

I choose this company on the recommendation of a friend who is a contractor and has used them for many years. The job was quoted for half of what another company had bid. They used the exact same materials (and same brands) as the prior bid. The bid included the price of repairing the expected amount of water damage to the sheathing, and when the damage was less than expected, the final price was reduced by that amount.
The installation was carefully done, and care was taken to avoid water getting in when rain interrupted the installation. The final result looks great. They removed all the old shingles and put in new and better underlay materials and vents.
It went slightly slower than some, but the quality made it well worth it.

Vandersteen Roofing has done a great job for me. I have used these guys for several years on 6 homes and on my personal home. 3 of them were due to wind damage and the others from age. They are honest on needed repairs once the old layers were removed. Roger and Marcel are very easy to talk too and want me to know exactly what needs to be done. They get the job done quickly and no surprises. An interesting thing is they have the same crew for several years now so I know they are doing something right when they can keep quality craftsman busy. I highly recommend them.

Roger repaired my leaky roof over 5 years ago. I had 3 other companies quote on the repairs and two were over $1000 and the third quoted $750. All 3 suggested I would be better off putting that $ towards a new roof. Roger did the repairs within a week for $250. When it was finally time to replace it I got a second quote and found Roger again to be the most reasonable price. His crew did an excellent job and there were no surprises, even though they did find some serious water damage, which they repaired at no extra cost. My experience with Roger & Marcel was great and I would refer them to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.
