Rocky's Ace Hardware - Concord, NH

I had the most pleasant, successful trip to Rocky’s Ace today. Having just had hip surgery, I wanted to get ‘in and out’. With the tremendously helpful and available associates I was able to find just what I needed and finish up! It was a fun visit!! Great, friendly staff!! Thank you!!

Dropped my lawnmower blades off to be sharpened here back in early October. The employee told me to write phone number on slip and that the store would call me when the blades are ready for me to pick up.

Today, after waiting almost a month and no phone call from the store, I came in to check on my blades. They had them. I asked the employee why they never called me to let me know. He stated, “We usually don’t call until they’ve been here a long ass time.”

Great customer service. I’ll take my $22.00 somewhere else, where the company can have the common decency to call customers when their items are ready to be picked up.

I was able to find a home furnace filter at the best price than online or at the larger hardware stores. Also the staff at the Ace Hardware are friendly and helpful.

I came into this store the other day to purchase some paint for my shed. I waited at the paint counter for a paint rep or someone to do their job. An employee eventually came by but I was told that I'd have to wait for the paint representative. I know who that paint rep is and this man does NOT do his job well. I'll never be taking my business here again and I advise other to do the same. Home Depot isn't much further away, take the extra few minutes.

Awesome experience, couldn't find what I was looking for, I was assisted, and recommended how to get what I needed.

This is the go to place when I need a bolt screw or fastener. Been going there for 20years. One of the employees has been there just as long and is super knowledgeable and very helpful.

Great selection of fasteners, although be prepared to pay. Essential if you need something specific and can't wait on Amazon.

Make sure to check Milwaukee tool prices carefully too, the "M12 and M18 12-Volt/18-Volt Lithium-Ion Multi-Voltage Rapid Battery Charger" goes for 100 USD at Rocky's Ace and 120 USD at Home Depot, I think they've got some other great deals on those shelves too. Least compared to Home Depot.

Regardless of the discounts available on online retailers sometimes the premium for local business is worth it.

Always a good time when my friend Janice is at the cash register! She is great and we always find what we need. However as a germaphobe it's discouraging to go in there and see an employee wipe their nose and immediately and thoughtlessly touch something in the store. Yikes.

I want to be clear. Janice is lovely and not the employee I am referring to above. I'm sure the registers are clean!

Ordered a Ego snowblower from in store and they charged me only $15 to deliver to Chichester. Representative shows up in truck with snowblower unpacked from box, batteries charged, rolls it off and hands me paperwork. Just top notch customer service, above and beyond delivery expectations.

Alway enjoy going too the Local hardware store too get that specific thing or for multiple reasons they have it & they have Great Employees willing too help you find what you’re looking for, Friendly Kind Professional folks .

Rocky's is a great store. All the items you need for home decor, home maintenance, gardening tools and supplies and many other items needed for every day living. The associates are very friendly and professional. We go there often and always find what we need and more.

Best hardware store in the city. We chose to shop there. Knowledgeable staff at Rockys that know and can recommend the right products, can recommend special tips for use and give great advice, also always go one step beyond by looking up the latest discounts on items.

Great service. Employee (Chris ?) Was very polite and helpful. I couldn't find what I needed at walmart or home depot. BUT Rocky's had it.

The front end guy was being so extremely pushy. I had asked about a product and he insisted I go from a less expensive product to a product 4x as much. Then when I told him I’m mainly looking for prices as I just got my first house and looking to see what’s best he kept following me around the store trying to sell me on top of the line products. I felt very pressured and wicked uncomfortable in the store

Needed to have a chip key made for my truck. Had trouble getting it made but didn't give up. They called a day later and said they solved the problem. Liked how they went out of their way for me. Highly recommend them.

Best non big box store for hardware needs in the capital region. Knowledgeable staff that goes the extra step to solve any challenge. Even if they don't have your solution in store they know where to refer you.

This store has a little of everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are pretty knowledgeable and willing to troubleshoot with you to help out on any way. I recommend this location.
