He responded very quickly to my initial request to evaluate our driveway, that was in very poor condition, and provided additional recommendations to address other challenges related to drainage. It was very easy to communicate with him and schedule the job. He worked with us on providing a quote that met our needs and budget. Spencer and his crew went above and beyond going outside of the initial scope of work to do further improvements in my property and even assisted my close neighbor while fixing our shared portion of the driveway, ensuring she was happy. Spencer recently cleared an overgrown area in my backyard. He was prompt, thorough and left the area in an almost pristine state. He was careful to avoid a fence and a tool shed and meticulous in the cleanup of debris. I was very pleased with his work and his professional manner. I would highly recommend him.

After years of drainage issues in our backyard, Spencer and Rocky Ridge came to our rescue. When the job turned out to be trickier than expected, they were able to quickly modify the original plan.

An unusually positive experience. Highly recommend. (Though almost don't want to so they don't get too busy for me!) Spencer at Rocky Ridge repaired a long gravel driveway for me at warp speed, making it possible for cement trucks to get in for urgent foundation work. He was willing to work within my budget (the "I hope I have one working toilet in this cabin one day!" kind) giving me three options for repair. He genuinely cared about my land and (delulu) vision. He deciphered the cryptic Mass Dep wetlands protection requirements to ensure no gravel fell in the water way. He communicated every step of the way. He told me how much material he was using and what kind. He arrived when he said he would, finished as predicted and the driveway is BEAUTIFUL. I hope it's only the first of many projects.

Incredible work, from the first day of consultation to the last day of the project--including all the cleanup and effort it took to make our yard look presentable again! Spencer is kind and competent, explained all the necessary work and even took time to talk to our neighbors about what was happening. We really appreciated finding someone who provided this level of service.

Rocky Ridge did a fantastic job at clearing some land for us. He got back to us very promptly, met us at the site, and started to work all within about a week or so of us originally contacting him. He took a totally undeveloped area that was basically a forest on a hill and made a nice flat area for us to build on. His attention to detail was amazing. He used the stones he found in the area to build a retaining wall to help create the flat space and even left us an adorable stone bench. I would highly recommend Rocky Ridge for any landscaping, clearing, or excavating work you need done.

From my first interaction with Spencer, he was fantastic to work with. He responded immediately when I called him. He is honest. He does the work that he says he will do and he shows up when he says that he will. He has done several projects for me over the years, including a new gravel driveway, creation of a drainage area on the side of my house to prevent water in my basement, along with replacement of bulkhead doors and basement door framing. We " Steinert Tree Care " hired Rocky Ridge to help extract a large storm damaged Hemlock tree from a customer's garage roof. He used his large excavator to lift the large trunk sections off of the roof. The job went exactly as planned. I will recommend Rocky Ridge to anyone who is in need of his services. Thanks!

2 great guys came! I had a stumps removed from my yard. They showed up on the scheduled day and the fee was exactly what was quoted. Very happy with the results!

I purchased my house thirteen years ago and at that time had it inspected.Unfortunately, the house inspector missed a lot.
I met Spencer ten years ago and he has spent those years fixing all the things that needed fixing.
He has installed an extensive drainage system to prevent underground seepage from flooding my driveway and freezing in the winter time. I live on a hillside and an icy driveway would be a disaster.
He has painted the exterior of my house and in the process discovered a lot of damage done to the siding by mice . Got rid of the mice and replaced the siding.
Had two sump pumps fail. One in the basement and one in the garage. Came at two o'clock in the morning (with his wife) to hand pump my basement and to prevent the water from getting into the oil burner. Replaced both sump pumps.
Re[;aced worn or corroded fittings on my roof and put down tar over some leaking spots.
Has turned a jungle of underbrush and small trees into lawns and flower beds.
Snowplowed and shoveled my driveway in the winter.
Probably many other things that I can't remember. Over the years I have never found fault with his work and am delighted to know him.
I am 93 years old and have come to rely on Spencer and he in turn has always been there when I needed him.
