Robertson Quality Inspections (RQI)

Tye Robertson, of RQI - Robertson Quality Inspections, was very helpful in advising of the condition of the condo I was purchasing. He was timely, in fact amazingly fast, at getting the detailed report to me same day as the inspection. I especially appreciated his going over his findings verbally and pointing out what he was describing as we went along during the summary. I would definitely call RQI to do my inspections when purchasing property in the future.

The team at Robertson Quality Inspections surpassed every expectation. And there's Tina, who always had the answer for the questions that came up during the home inspection process. They are the best ever!

I hired Tye for a new home inspection on a production build, and he was outstanding. He was extremely professional throughout the process—before (scheduling), during the inspection, and after (his detailed report). Unlike many inspectors, he climbed onto the roof and into the attic, ensuring a thorough inspection. Despite considering myself fairly knowledgeable about plumbing, electrical, and other systems, Tye caught several issues I had overlooked, even after multiple walkthroughs. I highly recommend him!!

Our inspector, Tye, was thorough, trustworthy, and professional. He had recommendations and solutions for everything he found wrong in the house. For every technical explanation, he also provided a simplified version that I could easily understand.

My only complaint? He only mentioned skateboarding once! Come on, Tye—I was ready for at least five gnarly skate references. A kickflip analogy for the roof, maybe a grind metaphor for the plumbing? Next time, I expect some ollie-level inspection flair!

One of the best inspectors in town. We’ve used a few other inspectors before and did not get the detail and attention like we received with RQI. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Update: we used Tye again for our one year inspection before our warranty is up and he came across several somewhat dangerous issues, one was a gas leak where he immediately called the gas company out and they fixed it while he was here. Truly the attention to detail is above and beyond, and could save you lots of money in the future.

Great job, this was our second house so it was also our second inspection! Ty Robertson seems like a trustworthy guy to have the home buyers best interest in mind, which I think is the most important thing. The only recommendation I'd give and maybe this is just because my wife is a business analyst so I'm starting to think like her but it would have been nice at the end when Ty was showing us the photos to also have more of a presentation showing the major issues with a few key metrics like ball park cost to repair, difficulty of a repair 1-10(1 meaning you don't need arms or a HS diploma to repair and 10 meaning you need to be a trained professional), Urgency to repair 1-10, etc. Also a way to group your repairs would be nice, roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Ty completed a thorough inspection that lasted over 6 hours(!). He took me on a tour of the property to point out his observations and recommendations. The same day I received his complete, detailed report with many pictures and clear descriptions. I cannot imagine any better inspection.

This is the guy you want inspecting your new home. He spent 3 hours going through every inch of the property with me. He explained how everything worked, from lighting the pilot in the gas fireplace, to the home ventilation system. I had a lot of questions and he had all the answers. He didn’t try to upsell me on extra services. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and kept reiterating I could call him if I had any questions about the home... even if it was years after the purchase. Highly recommend.

If you have anyone other than this man come inspect your house you are an idiot. He was super awesome and took time to explain everything to me. He has a great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable. He is known for being very picky which is definitely a good thing. He is also the kind of cool dude who says if down the road you have a question he'll be available for that as well and he is an actual good human.
