I recently had my house re-sided with RMG Siding and Roofing, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, Rick and his team were professional and reliable. The communication was outstanding. Rick took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answering all my questions and addressing any concerns. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the job.
I was especially impressed with the attention to detail and the way they ensured everything was done right and exactly how I wanted it. They also stuck to their estimated timeline and budget.
If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality siding company, RMG Siding and Roofing is the way to go. I highly recommend them!

A "No-Show"! My next-day call to inquire why "scheduled" appointment failed, obviously collided with a vacant mind. Despite my considerate and polite approach, (first explaining I am deaf), conversation/words spiralled downward. With vague, if any, excuse for failed appointment, the individual was rude, impatient and grossly interruptive. Therefore, being told, "I'm on a job. I don't have time to listen to this!!", initiated "Over and Out"! Zero stars would more than suffice any recommendation to RMG's so-called NON-SERVICE!!

Took a very long time to get Rick to come and do the work. when the work was done, he missed a bracket, a couple of the gutters were not emptying with water, did not put up a flashing that he promised, and didn't put a downspout that was part of the job. after a winter, now there is leaking behind gutters. Not impressed

I used RMG to do my siding last year and to shovel snow off of my roof. They arrived on time and I was very impressed with their work.

RMG roofing came to my home and provided a written estimate. When the work was agreed on I paid a 50% deposit via e transfer for materials and we set the date to commence work. On the scheduled day RMG did not arrive as promised. When we called the owner of RMG he refused to acknowledge the deposit, do the work, provide us with materials or give a refund. We lost the full deposit to him. We called the RCMP to file a complaint and they let us know this individual is very well know to them. They advised a civil suit or a class action suit, as many people have been victimized. We are proceeding with small claims court, but in the intern I can't afford to repair my roof. I am on a very limited income and now have to go through the winter with a leaking roof. Research this company....I should have looked more deeply and have learned a hard lesson as a result....I hope no one else will. Call a contractor, or anyone in the local home industry and inquire about RMG. Google the owner's name or call your local police and that should be enough to convince you.

Just got my roof done by these guys. They are a hardworking crew that hardly stops for a moment.
They worked 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Mine was not an easy job and they had the right equipment to do it safely and properly. I would definitely recommend them.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
