Kootenay Deluxe Construction and Electrical

Chris and his team repaired and rebuilt my balcony this fall. I'm more than happy with their work and highly recommend them. Chris kept within the budget and kept open lines of communication during the construction process. I'm now loving my waterproof and fire smart balcony!

We are fairly new to Rossland & needed to replace our 1941 vintage windows in our home. Fortunately, for us KDC was on the recommended contractors list for the City of Rossland‘s RetroFit Assist environmental program. Chris, the owner, and project manager Allen were extremely professional, attentive and service oriented during the quoting, contract & construction process! Their, and their Teams, attention to detail and timing during the construction period resulted in the project being completed on schedule and under budget! We would highly recommend KDC for any construction projects and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

I met Chris and the team pretty early on after moving to the Kootenays. They were able to sort out my electrical issues on my house for me while I was away and were very communicative. It really put my mind at ease to have them taking care of my house when I couldn't be there. They have since upgraded my electrical service and rewired my entire house.

Chris and his team rid my house of its remaining knob and tube. They were exceptionally thorough and uncovered what appeared to be knob and tube hidden by the previous electrician. They found creative solutions to bring my 1920’s home into the 21st century. Cannot recommend them enough! Will definitely seek them out for future projects.

Chris and his team did a full bathroom reno for us which involved moving walls, plumbing, electrical, tiling, and replacing a window. They did an excellent job and were really professional to deal with. I love the finished product.The whole process was very stress-free, which is not always the case with these jobs! Chris and his carpenter Joe helped me with an inspection for my garage roof and ceiling, they were very efficient and punctual which unusually rare in this line of work. They are very professional in their ways of communication as well. They did not try to create unnecessary work and reassured me about my Garage. Chris (and his team) did a great job building a bedroom wall and installing new lighting/outlets. He took the job on short notice and had it completed quickly to ensure it was done before Xmas for us.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job renovating two bathrooms and updating the electrical. The new wiring and electric panel look very organized and neat. In the bathrooms, he did the demolition, rewired the electrical, put up new dry wall, did some mudding and taping, installed the in-floor heating, installed the vanity and fixtures, repaired our bathroom fan exhaust in the attic, put in pot lights in our living room, added new electric outlets, and organized for plumber and tile setter. Chris was very professional and easy to work with! He was always on time and provided open communication about any changes in time-lines and problems that arise (our house is old, this was expected). We would definitely hire Chris again.
