Jesse was fantastic! He answered all our questions regarding our roof situation. He had several companies come out for estimates, but we chose him.

Rivera Roof Repair made the whole stressful chore of having to get a new roof a much better experience than I had anticipated. It was a very old roof and needed some extra work which took longer than a straightforward replacement but the cost was very competitive, Jesse was very flexible about accomodating my requests, the crew did a great job of cleaning up (tearing off layers of old roofing is very messy!!) and we chose a quality product which looks really good and makes my house look so much smarter than it did before. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I used them to install roof anchors on short notice. They were efficient in generating a quote, scheduling service, and doing the work. Jesse (the owner) was very responsive, and I'd recommend them to others without hesitation.

We had our gutters cleaned, metal panel replaced on an awning, a wood shed roof cleaned, and a roof replaced on a garden shed that included a new skylight. The work was performed on time and looks amazing! Highly recommend!!

Jesse (owner) came out the next day to assess the repairs that needed to be done on our roof. He pointed out where repair needed to happen and optional additional work that could be done to fix problems that were likely to come. The price was more than reasonable so I opted to get all the additional work done as well.

His team was prompt (weather permitting) and clearly spent the time and effort to make sure things were done properly. He also worked with me to get what I needed for my insurance claim. Strongly recommend!

I did not end up going with Jesse, but the experience working through a bid with him, was excellent to the point where I still want to write a review and tell you that this is an honest business worth talking to.

I’ve been a homeowner now for about eight years with the last three of those in Washington state. Since then, I’ve been shocked and disappointed at some of the price gouging that goes on with bids out here. Before you rush to say “it’s due to Covid, and Washington is also more expensive”, yes, that’s true… but it still doesn’t come close to justifying what some of these places will try and bid on.

That is, except for honest businesses like Rivera roof repair.

First positive sign was that when I called, I was speaking with an owner and licensed contractor, rather than a sales person from some of the bigger names out here.

Second positive sign… Talked through a bunch of technical questions and advice I had gathered from prior quotes and research, which was super helpful. I don’t know much about roofing, but I have framed and roofed a shed before, done light electrical, doors and windows, etc. and so while far from a professional at any of it, it does make it easier to recognize when you’re talking to someone who knows their stuff and is truly trying to get you to a good outcome.

Oh, and before I forget, Rivera Roofing also came highly recommended from a friend of mine who is a real estate agent in the king county/Snohomish area.

Few other bullet points I liked:
* Jesse gave a detailed quote, and was not afraid of showing the split between cost and labor… whereas other places, I’ve literally been handed a sales quote for more than twice the cost with barely anything on it.

* speaking of cost, Jesse‘s quote was in line with my expectations - based on research from blogs, state averages, the slope and characteristics of my roof, and my prior experiences with roof replacement outside of Washington. While I don’t want to share specific quotes because every job is different, let me just say that some of the other places I talked to were quoting just under $1200 per square before tax for normal architectural shingles on a simple 4/12 pitch roof without complex geometry… like come on, I’m not trying to plate my roof in gold.

So with all of this positive stuff, why wasn’t a customer? Well, somehow I got super lucky and met and was already in conversations with one other contractor that - by crazy chance- happened to also demonstrate the same quality experience. Even the quotes were very very close which was another positive sign as it tells me I’m around the right market rate. If I hadn’t have spoken to the other guy first, I would’ve gladly been writing a check to Rivera roofing.

The next time I need a roof or a friend needs one, I am 100% calling Rivera roofing :)

Looking for a honest business with quality work that is going to treat you right? Look no further for this is it. These days it is hard to find a good honest business that isn't going to try and up sell you something that you may not need. After looking for a month and getting many estimates and researching all those who gave me estimates for my shop roof I decided to go with Rivera Roof Repair and I'm very glad I did. They were very honest, upfront and kept me informed on everything. The quality of work was awesome and they did an amazing job. What sold me on Rivera Roof Repair was a video saying not all roofs need to be replaced. This told me that they aren't out there to push anything on anyone that isn't needed which is what a good honest business should do. I had many businesses that were pushing things not necessary. Rivera Roof Repair wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive either. They were right there in the middle. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with everything they have done and I truly would recommend them to everyone. It is hard to find an honest business that actually does good quality work and will take care of you. I hold my bar high and they will forever be the business I will use for any future roofing needs. I couldn't recommend anyone else. Rivera Roof and Repair is where it's at!

Fist rain of the fall and of course there's a leak. Jesse, called us back within a couple hours, made time in his schedule to be out the next morning, got the problem covered and patched that day, and was out the next week to-do the repair.

Jesse and his coworker , did a phenomenal job on my back porch. I did all the structural work myself. I used architectural roofing material on my back porch years ago and it did not last due to the pitch of my back porch. I tried to reach out to 6 local roofers and Jesse responded first. He came out the following day. Jesse gave me a bib on my back porch roof and noticed some maintenance issues on my main roof. Jesse did not try to up sale me on a new main roof. Even though I know the main roof is due to be replaced soon. Jesse and his coworker did all necessary small repairs on my main roof and installed new roofing material on my back porch. It lightly rained the next day and it was nice to have a dry back porch again. I will be definitely calling you when the main roof needs to be replaced. Thanks Jesse , for a job well done

I can't enough good things about Rivera Roof Repair. I had my gutters replaced and when they were walking in the roof, they noticed a "soft spot" in one area. So they gave me a contact that didn't call back so I did research on my own and found Rivera Roof Repair. Jesse was very responsive, came out to look at the area, took pictures and explained what he saw. He provided a reasonable quote, and got the job done. They were professional, knowledgeable, personable and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

Jesse was highly referred to us by a local roofing supply company in Snohomish County. I was fearful of a serious or severe problem due to the noise we heard when ten inches of snow came sliding/crashing down our metal roof in the middle of a mid-winter snow storm! Out of all the people we contacted for a roof repair, Jesse was the most thorough, and honest and it was immediately apparent that he cares about the work that he does. He took the time to get on our roof to look for smaller problem areas that could lead to bigger costs down the road. Highly recommend Jesse! We called him to look at a leak in our bedroom ceiling and repair some leaking gutter corners. He was able to come out the next day, found the source of our leak right away and did all the repairs the same day. He even noticed some issues with our flashing and repaired that too. Jesse was great to work with and was very responsive. He was one of the first to get back to me and his prices are reasonable. We had water leaking at a skylight on a vaulted ceiling and couldn't tell where it was coming in at. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed the cause while he was on his estimating visit. Then he checked another skylight and did some caulking even though it wasn't leaking yet, just to make sure it wouldn't become a problem. It has rained several times since he finished and we have no more leaks! Would definitely use Jesse again.

Jesse came out the same afternoon I called to assess the leak in my roof. He immediately found several issues and made repairs. He was very determined to find the problem and make a reliable repair. A large portion of my father's flat shop roof had almost completely failed due to a poor past installation done by a different company. Jesse came out quickly and gave a competitive bid. Work included replacing several sheets of plywood, installing new roofing , replaced some shaped transition boards and relocating a downspout for better draining of the roof. The work was done before other companies were even able to schedule a visit for a bid, some outright stating they don't work on flat or torch down roofs. Very happy with the work and it has stood the test of this wild and wet weather we have had this winter. I have referred Jesse to family members with roofing issues, who have also been very happy with his work.

Highly recommend Jesse! I needed an emergency roof repair on a rental property. After one atmospheric river dumped inches of rain and another storm was 2 days away, I was desperate to get a leak repaired on a weekend.
