Raymond and his crew did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen. It's much more functional than our previous layout. Appreciated how he listened to our ideas and also gave us some ideas to make everything work. It completely transformed our home.

We recently were fortunate to discover Raymond and Harmony Design and Build while searching for a solution to our well-worn downstairs laundry/mudroom/furnace room. We were looking to upgrade to something more suitable for our downstairs living space and needed help. Raymond to the rescue. He led us through the design and ended up creating for us, a delightful and cozy, ¾ bath and laundry room. He communicates well, keeps his word and has a good eye for practical, eye-pleasing solutions.

I recently had Harmony Design and Build add a gable roof and railing to my house and existing porch. It has really transformed and updated the look of my raised ranch style house. I have never taken on a project of this scale and was a little intimidated by it. Raymond (owner) was great! He explained everything thoroughly and made me feel at ease. His crew were great too! Very professional and courteous, and true craftsmen. Once the project was started it went very quickly. Each day I came home from work, I could see the progress. Any remodel for your home can be extremely stressful. Raymond Kent, owner of Harmony Design, walked us through every step of this project, start to finish. Raymond has been doing construction and remodels for many years and has the experience and expertise needed to do the job right the first time (and on time). His pleasant humor helped a lot when we were in the middle of the remodel. Raymond was available even after hours to answer our many questions and never made us feel like our questions were cumbersome, even after explaining things to us for the umpteenth time! The bid was very reasonable and we were given a contract upfront with everything included in the final price. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Ray and his team. They built us new stairs for our garage, with a great turnaround time from start to finish. After being so pleased with the stairs, we decided to move forward with getting a quote and plan together for a new deck. Our previous deck was dangerous and falling apart. Harmony Design and Build remodeled our kitchen and dining room. Raymond and his crew were a pleasure to work with. He was very communicative and punctual. We were very pleased with how detail oriented he was, and he expected the same from his subcontractors. For example, he was very precise with installing our backsplash. When my family purchased a property that included a house that needed *a lot* of work, we spoke with a handful of firms (and seriously considering picking up hammers ourselves). We were lucky enough to find Raymond and quickly felt a natural connection with him as a knowledgable and reliable partner. Over the course of 7 months, he steered us through the unknowns, critical decisions, and away from unimportant distractions. Raymond and his crew remodeled our shower room. They were consistently prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to see to our every request. Raymond also built for us a yard shed which we dearly love. It's strong, weatherproof, has strong shelving, stores a lot, and looks great! We have a rental property that Raymond has maintained for us. He has repaired siding, put in a driveway, put up a patio awning, replaced a fence, among other things. Raymond is the first person we call when we have a problem or project. He has exceeded our every expectation and has become a friend.

Raymond took time to understand our goals for the project. Offered choices when we needed to make decisions about creating the best aging in place kitchen for us. He paid attention to details, the subs he uses were top notch, and we are very satisfied with our new kitchen.

I hired HH to repair and paint my existing garage door. Ray came to my home, was professional, upfront and honest about my project. His prices were comparable to others that I looked into but His results blew me away. He took my 30-year-old garage door fixed it and updated it with fresh color. His Workmanship was perfect and finished in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the results and on top of it he saved me $$$thousands from having to buy a whole new door at this time. Our home was built in 1993 and the bathroom showed it. Wall to wall carpet, tile vanity, oversized mirror with globe lighting, a soaking tub we never used and a shower stall that was way to small. Harmony Design & Build to the rescue! They removed the tub and created a zero entry shower then made the old shower into a linen closet. Raymond was honest, responsive and very knowledgeable. His initial bid was spot on with minimal changes. Matthew was amazing. He showed up on time, communicated well, and put in a solid days work. Great quality and completed on schedule. We could not have asked for more. We would use Harmony Design & Build again and will recommend them to our friends and family.

Raymond is a true professional and incredibly easy to work with. We hired him to do a whole house remodel including the exterior and could not be happier. We live in California so all communication was done with phone calls, text messages and pictures. He did a spectacular job and is incredibly honest with excellent customer relation skills. His work quality is fantastic and he had a high bar to pass given that my husband is a licensed contractor and is incredibly picky. We needed our decks remodeled, a 2 tier deck in our backyard and our front porch. We wanted to replace the wood decking and railing with composite materials. Originally we hired a contractor who had done some work for us in the past. Big mistake. After parting ways with him we started looking for a new contractor. We connected with Raymond who came out to see what we needed. He showed up on time and walked thru our project. He listened to what we wanted, pointed out work the other contractor had not mentioned that needed to be done to get the results we wanted and thoroughly explained what would be involved for us to get the beautiful decks we expected.

We needed to add a master bath and bedroom to our house. We were lucky to find Raymond Kent of Harmony Design and Build. Raymond's original estimate was spot-on for the final cost of the project. Raymond is honest, competent, and has good people skills. We've probably worked with half a dozen contractors over the years. Harmony Design is the only one we would gladly hire again. They did a good job and all the workers were competent and professional. They did an excellent job dealing with all of the dreaded supply-chain issues due to covid complications.

We wanted to make our living room larger, but were not sure what we wanted it to look like. Raymond came in and discussed this with us and gave us a design that exceeded our expectations. He gave us the design in late summer of 2019 and it was supposed to start in the spring of 2020 but was delayed by Covid. The old part of our house was torn down and the new part began in late Summer. He faced labor and supply challenges and lots of delays but kept finding solutions. Even though it wasn't done, he made sure it was completed enough so we and our family could use it for the holidays (which was our main reason for building a new larger family room). It was completed by March 2021. We have now decorated it and love it.
The view of our house when you come up the drive is awe inspiring. It looks beautiful, It looks like it has always been there and not an addition.
Raymond takes pride in the jobs he does and it shows in the quality and attention to detail from early design to finished project. He was always open to our input and didn't mind us saving a few dollars by doing some of the work ourselves.

Raymond did a great job regraveling our driveway. Was really easy to work with and he got everything done on time. Our family has been so happy with Raymond and Harmony Design and Build! We needed to update our old tiny kitchen and dining area and gathered quotes from several builders and designers. Raymond was timely, courteous, engaging, and responsive to our needs. And he was the lowest bid by almost 50%.

We had heard horror stories about how long kitchen contractors could take. 4 months, 6 months, sometimes even longer. When Raymond said he would have the kitchen done in about 4-5 weeks I told him I didn’t really believe it! But he delivered. And this was during the historic snowstorm in February of this year (2019).

We were so happy that we contracted with Raymond to replace our old covered deck, as well. He just completed that in two weeks and it looks great.

I leased a building with a lot of damage that delayed my start date. I hired Harmony. They got me up and running quickly and efficiently. I have had them back for smaller repairs since. Always great work and service at a fair price.

Raymond has done several big jobs for me, a new roof on rental property that was under budget and finished in three days, repaired soffits with all new wood 30foot in the air in one day. I was amazed at his workmanship, he really matched the old with the new so you couldn't tell. Another project that involved raising the garage that had sunk 6 inch's and that required pouring a new foundation that brought it all back to level. Yes I would highly recommend Raymond as I found him to be honest and hard working.
